Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

10995 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is WHERE IS ACCC???? at 6 Jan 2011 09:40:36 PM
These 10,000+ consumers demonstrate a total failure to perform by VODAFONE so WHAT IS OUR NATIONAL WATCHDOG DOING?????? Wake up ACCC & all our State Govt Consumer Departments!!! What the hell do we pay you guys for but to protect us from parasites like this ripping us off on a massive scale. If VODAFONE were a small car yard they would be on 60 Minutes same day and have government ministers shaking their fists but somehow there are 2 entirely different sets of rules. But listen to this.... ACT NOW OR WE WILL SACK YOU ALL..... What other product in the marketplace is allowed to make consumers pay more BY FAILING TO PERFORM?????? mmmm... the banks come next ok!
6 Jan 2011 10:02:52 PM: Make that 11,000.
6 Jan 2011 10:36:26 PM: 11,000 out of 4.5 Million, that's like totally 0.2% of the customer base !
6 Jan 2011 10:45:07 PM: 11,000 people have taken the effort to search for this website and post on it. There is always a silent majority and all 4.5 million customers are not aware this website exists. 110,000 people have visited this website so by your logic that would make it closer to 10%. However if Vodafone is confident these issues only affect the people who post on this website them maybe it should inform all of it's customers that this website exists.
7 Jan 2011 07:34:29 AM: You raise an interesting point about double standards by politicians and the so called crusading TV shows. If companies are large and can advertise on the TV station they seem to be immune from scrutiny. The little operator gets crucified but large companies other than banks and sometimes Telstra
7 Jan 2011 09:07:41 AM: Once they have you on contract they have you by the balls. They will make you jump through hoops and perform like a circus clown to break the contract.
Ha ha, that is if you can even contact VF in the first place !
Most of the government watchdogs like ACCC are toothless, they have buggar all power and the big companies know it.
