Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

11124 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is No words to explain... at 7 Jan 2011 05:20:43 PM
I have had a post already to state my issues with drop outs and lack of coverage at home and at work, yet they have managed to top it!!!

Yesterday I have had some problem with my touch pad, was not responding, so call for help. I was told that I should switch off the phone and do a hard boot. (Holding down send and hang up buttons as phone turned on)
After I have down that, phone has erased all data from the phone, booted, yet never fixed the issue, only created a new one. Phone is now completely useless, as it is asking to choose network provider, that is only can be down by tapping on one or the other....

Being Thursday, run down to Bondi Junction Vodafone, where 3 young stuff members were busy chatting with clients, in a very casual manner. After about 30 minutes of wait, one of them turned to me and asked, "what do you want"...

Quickly have set him straight, as that language and tone of voice was way out of line, bought a new phone out right and left as soon as I could!

I AM THROUGH WITH VODAFONE!!! I can't wait to have my contract finished and all of our phones (small business with all stuff on one plan), taking it elsewhere...
7 Jan 2011 05:55:38 PM: As someone in business, and having a lot of problems with vodafone, I honestly believe it makes economic sense to pay those greedy bastards at telstra, for what has to be far better coverage, and move on
7 Jan 2011 06:47:13 PM: I have used telstra for mobile internet broadband and 3g phone for several years and only use Vodafail as a backup. Telstra customer service also totally sucks big time but their mobile coverage all around australia is 1st class. I have been 20 metres underground, surrounded by solid rock and still get a 5 bar telstra signal. Vodafone could never come close to this.
