Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

I have been with Vodafone a week and already hate them. After 6 happy years as a loyal 3 customer with no trauma with service, ever, I have had to switch to Vodafone pre-paid as I'm moving overseas and 3 mobile pre paid didn't have the handset I wanted. So, loaded up my $49 credit last Sunday, migrated my number over (having had the same number for years didn't want to lose my contacts) and lo and behold on FRIDAY NIGHT i.e peak mobile usage time for no reason and with no explanation my phone stopped being able to call out or send messages. After trying to contact the 155 number multiple times, and only hearing bloody Lara I finally got through to someone who explained it was an issue that would be resolved within 24 hours, not a human error, and therefore could not be sped up. I waited my 24 hours and BOOM saturday night no service still. Called again multiple times and was told the team who fix these 'technical issues' wouldn't be in till Monday and the rollout of the soloution may not come through till Tuesday, possibly even Wednesday. They also would not explain what the issue was. So for the last two weekends I have been without service and stranded. Absoloutely abysmal service and I see no good reason to stay with Vodafone, having spent $100 in the last week on Credit and being unable to call anyone is about the most frustrating thing I've experienced as a customer in a long long time.

In short, I will most definitely be migrating my number to another provider and staying the hell away from Vodafone once I have been allowed to spend my credit. What a joke.
