Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

18249 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is RUBBISH! at 2 Jun 2011 03:56:24 PM
I am with 3 and they convinced me to go to Vodafone with a pretty good deal. i accepted. I ordered an iphone 4 in white. I confirmed my address several times in the call and had it sent to my work so i would be there to sign for it. I ordered on the Monday and it was delivered on the wednesday - Fantastic right? Wrong - mega voda fail. They sent it to the wrong address. They also let someone other than me sign for it. I cannot find the address that they sent the phone to. I have walked up and down the street and asked locals and no one can find it. I dont believe the address even exists.

So I ring them - ask that they cancel the phone and that I am able to go to a store to pick one up.
Apparently it takes them up to 48 hours to cancel the service - then it will take them 5-7 business days to send another. They advised me that I cant speed up the process as this is normal procedure. Maybe so but it isnt normal procedure to give my phone to someone else so i figured we would be able to resolve the matter.

I was told someone would ring me back as i was not happy. i waited for 3 hours so I rang back. This time they told me the phone had been listed as missing and that they were posting one out to the wrong address still. I confirmed i wasnt happy to wait 9 business days and that i wanted to pick one up in store. She said she would get back to me. Then i got a call confirming my postal address but thats it - she said she was only confirming details and coudlnt help me any further.

another few hours pass again and i hear nothing. i ring and ask that a manager gives me a call - i was told it would take 1-2 hours. I asked if that would be 1 or 2 hours and she couldnt tell me.

I am very concerned that someone else has my phone and my personal details.
I am equally concerned that Vodafail arent willing to try and resolve this problem after monumentally stuffing up.

I am quickly running out of patience and am very close to contacting the ombudsman and taking my business elsewhere.

VODAFAIL!
