Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

18958 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is 3G Fail at 28 Jul 2011 03:37:24 PM
I work in Brisbane city and I get the feeling that the 3G network here is over subscribed or just simply crap. I sit in my office and look at my iPhone 4 3g. It has a full 5 bars of reception and the 3g data connection and yet the 3g network simply doesnt work most of the time. I get the odd burst of connectivity and then nothing.

I have now resorted to turning of 3g and going back to the old data connection (EVDO???) which while rather slow works fine all the time. I experience the same problem to and from work on the Beenliegh line. I can't really tell you what its like where I live in Parkinson as I am hooked up to the WiFi at home. I have only been working in the City for about 3 months and It seemed to work fine up until about 7-7 weeks ago and since then it has been totally unusable. Of course I get the usual run around when I call Vodafone.

Me: Explain the situation

Them: "Have you tried turning it off and on again??"

Me: Yes.. multiple times.

Them: Maybe you need to drop into the store so they can look at it.

Me: WTF?? I mean honestly?? Is that the best trouble shooting they can come up with?

/facepalm
29 Aug 2011 08:13:01 PM: pretty cool. Remember you PAID their LAST BILL - you ENDORSED their CRAP SERViCE.. ummm? Keep endorsing them and they will keep providing you with more of the same !
COMPLAIN TO THE T.I.O. - Tell VodaFark you're angry, pissed off, not paying your bill (don't make physical threats tho), and you're not taking this crap anymore, tell them you'll tell everybody you meet and come into contact with that Vodafone is NOT a phone company you should trust......
