Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

19111 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is at 10 Aug 2011 09:02:10 PM
Has anyone had problems with the Nokia E5? I have had countless trips and calls to Vodaphone because of handset failures (like hangs and restarts mid call, mid text or internet page). After much grief, and only 3 months into a 24 month contract, I "begged" or a replacement phone when the Vodafone store staff, despite being very nice, coudn't even set up the email to get it to work (after 2 trips to the technicians to be software updated/reloaded -why on a brand new phone?). In the swap the the fantastic (so far) Samsung Nexus, Vodafone now want to charge me an extra $5 a month because the phone is "worth more" (both were on teh $29 cap). Apparently, among the harrassment calls from All Phone telephone sales to renew my contract, they offered me a Combo Deal with the USB of internet access. I have registered my disatisfaciton with the store in question and have now submitted a complaint to the TIO. I have had more use out of my old Nokia phone in the past 3 months because the E5 is always away being fixed or is just too unreliable. Yes, I have service problems too and I work in the CBD, in Newcastle recently, only in range for about an hour but I am hopeful that the promise of fixing their network is true. I can put up with that, but the insult of so much inconvenience then being charged an extra amount for the next 21 months was too much for me. The staff have tried hard including the help desk in Mumbai (who offered a small credit for loss of phone the 2nd time it had to be sent away). They must be so sick of the negativity everyday; I feel sorry for them.
