Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

20648 Someone from TAS thinks vodafone is discombobulated at 19 Jan 2012 05:11:47 AM

Having been recently terminated from my place of employment after nearly
7 years of service at the Vodafone Contact Centre at Huntingfield Kingston.

I am going to stand outside the gates of the contact centre with a
sign "I would not treat my dog the way I have been treated" I would
bring my dog Jessica as well for company and to
obviously make my point in regards to the way I have been treated.

Exposure to Vodafone's behavior I believe needs to be exposed and I believe would
bring forward many others who have been unfairly treated.

My aim is to make others that work there aware that even with union
support their jobs are not safe from Vodafone's manipulation to have
your place of employment terminated.
My self and others have been I believe unfairly dismissed recently. I
believe that it has something to do with the contact centre being moved
totally offshore to Mumbai in India in the not to distant future. So
that Vodafone does not have to pay huge sums of money for redundancy
packages for staff that have been there long term.

My stand against Vodafone continues with an unfair dismissal hearing due
at the end of this month.
21 Jan 2012 05:49:46 PM: How did you and Jessica go with your rant?
25 Jan 2012 07:16:46 AM: What were their reasons for terminating your employment?
25 Jan 2012 09:00:34 PM: He won't reply because he is weak!!
26 Jan 2012 04:44:25 PM: Go for it and good luck to you and every Vodaphone employee in the same position.
The reasons are unimportant. If it has been unfair dismissal get every cent you are owed and then some.
26 Jan 2012 05:19:38 PM: As an ex employee, I know how voda rock n roll. I'd say you are one of MANY going for unfair dismissal, did you know they have never won an unfair dismissal trial? Gotta love the politics at Kingston. Good luck to us getting what we deserve and showing how voda DO NOT live up to their alleged values
