Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

2987 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is EPIC FAIL at 27 Dec 2010 03:12:45 PM
Three months ago I went into vodafone to upgrade to an iPhone. They told me it was free to upgrade and that i would continue to pay the same amount monthly. However they were out of stock of iPhone but they would place me on a waiting list and contact me once the phone arrives.
However one month later after no contact I went back to vodafone to find out when i would receive my iPhone. There were no notes in the system and i had not been placed on a waiting list. They told me if I wanted to upgrade it would cost extra and the plans had gone up. I was very upset because this is not what i was promised when i wanted to upgrade.
I called vodafone and made a complaint. i was very angry and i wanted to cancel my account and move over to Optus. They put me through to their retentions team and i was promised a free iPhone on the same contract i was on. Again the iPhone was out of stock and I was told to wait a week or 2 and the phone would be delivered to my home.
Two months went by and I was sick and tired of waiting. I called Vodafone and was told again that no notes and no phone had been ordered for me. At this point I was very very angry and again was put through to retentions team because I wanted to change over to Optus. Again I went through the same process as before and promised a free iphone and no extra costs to my plan. Again i was told i had to wait for an iPhone because of no stock.
it has been 3 months now since I first contacted vodafone. I still do not have my phone. In the new year if i dont recieve my phone I will call A Current Affair. This has been ridiculous.
