Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

3556 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Astronomical! at 27 Dec 2010 04:20:18 PM
I've actually managed to get rescinded from my contract, but it took 2 months. They tried to sell my handset back to me but then gave me the wrong unlocking code twice and only left one more chance. They then waited right up until my bill was due to give me the code after I screamed at them. They just wanted their money before they helped out. My longest wait on line was 1 hour and 35 minutes and I still didnt get anyone and hung up. I've fought this fight since the 20/10/10 along with my wife's line, but each time you ring up you got someone different with a different view and opinion. From what I learnt the lady who handled my initial complaint actually left the company herself! Just not before resolving mine.
Anyway, we've now moved over to Telstra and Vodafone is trying to get $68.18 out of me for the phone which I returned and have the tracking number, and over $630 for my wife's which she also returned. They refuse to give us an email or anything in writing and now we dont get the freecall to them because we're with Vodafoone. My advice to everyone is stay on top of this class action and send your complaint to the TIO. Vodafone dont give one i-ota about us as customers, just money. Its a sinking ship and I'm disappointed massively after 10 years with them. They wont see me back regardless of the carrots they wave.
