Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

Vodafone is just one big joke. I have had their Mobile Broadband for three years, and oh boy.

Their monthly rollover works in a way where you need to disconnect before 12AM and reconnect after otherwise it still counts as the same day. I learned this the hard way late at night, incurring a much higher bill.

Their 3G is regularly 4 bars of 5 where I live, while a friend of mine, who lives a 15min walk away, only gets 2. So much for mobile.

The 3G falls out randomly, and needs to be pulled out physically because 'disconnecting' just freezes the program. It's not my computer either, I have had to switch computers in the last year, same thing.

I also needed a new version of the program for Windows 7, not given with the stick post release. I had to physically go to one of their stores. When I went to their site to get a backup, as I had deleted it off the flashcard, the current Windows 7 program wasn't there, I had to google the version to find it.

Also, their current '6GB' is not 6GB, it's whatever they want. I had it set for 6144MB as a limit, I got charged for excess use. Their so called 6GB seems to be really 5999MB.

Their phones are not much better. Regular falling out for no reason, going from 3 to 1 bar while in one place and their branded phones being pieces of crap that lock up all the time requiring the battery to be taken out and put back in, just after the warrenty goes.
