Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

5305 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Huge Fail at 27 Dec 2010 09:28:52 PM
We were told by the sales lady our suburb had Vodafone coverage. As soon as we got home...NO SERVICE at all unless we walk a few metres up the street. We get minimal coverage at work and minimal coverage in certain areas near where we live. I have tried complaining a couple of times...not only am I made to wait along time...the buck is passed to 3 different people all of whom I cannot understand. The first time I was told they were doing maintainance in our area and the coverage should be fine in 3 days but after 3 days still no service. The last time I called them I wanted to cancel our 2 year contract (my partner and I both have Iphones)explaining that both our phones have no coverage at all at home but they said it might be a faulty phone and sent an email with instructions as to what might be wrong with the phone and how to fix it. I didnt understand the instructions and havent bothered calling them back as I have no desire to speak with a person I do not understand so I keep putting it off!!! We have learned to live with no service at home only due to the fact that I can send my partner a message whilst he is at work on facebook. But as we live in a high risk fire danger area due to excessive trees, we experiance blackouts regularly and if there was a fire near us we would then lose all forms of communication with anyone. Or just a simple blackout means if there is an emergancy at home there is no communication for us at all. In this day and age it is simply NOT ON!!!My partner has alot to say about Vodafone himself but he wont be so polite about it!!!
