Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

5435 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Poor at 27 Dec 2010 10:10:14 PM
Purchased Prepaid Broadband and Pocket WIFI about two months ago. All was running smoothly until about 5 weeks ago when the internet became extremely slow and most often did not connect. It only works during random times like after 11pm on a week night for example. After several attempts on my computer to scan for spyware & viruses and also calling Vodafone with no response, I took everything into a Vodafone store to see if they could help me. They told me that the towers in area were updated and I needed my Broadband to be updated also. I was in a shopping centre with three Vodafone stores and I was dragged to each one to find a device capable of doing this upgrade. I was told it would take 30 minutes, so I returned after 30min in which they told me "Oh, we didn't get your name before and we needed that, so it will be another 30 minute wait". I patiently tried to fill in another 30 minutes before returning to the store. The Vodafone employee helping me was no where to be found and the other staff had no idea what I was talking about. I continued walking past each of the three stores to see if I could find her. After another 30minute I finally found the employee at another Vodafone store in the centre (different from original). She returned everything to me and told me the update was complete. When I got home I plugged everything in and guess what? Nothing had changed...internet still not working. It wasted my afternoon. From experience I find the staff at stores in my area lacking a conscientious work ethic. I will be standing there waiting to be served without being acknowledged for several minutes. I hope this mess gets fixed quickly before there are more angry customers. Good luck Vodaphone!!
