Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

5500 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is GRRRR at 27 Dec 2010 10:31:25 PM
Back in May 2010 my phone dropped out, no coverage at all having a few spare mobiles i swapped my sim...into 5 different phones! NO coverage! My brother came over with his telstra phone n i called Vodafone to complain, they checked towers in my area etc etc all saying no problem, tried system resets on the 2 main phones etc no go then they proceeded to tell me it was my phones that were broken and id need to buy a new handset!! I waited the problem out till 1 by 1 over the span of about 4 months they came back into service, the handset i want to use still drops out for days at a time! Grrrr

Around Oct i started to get messages out of the blue saying 'transaction failed - insufficient funds' 4-5 times a day for no reason i had done nothing to cause this, i called Voda several times and after being on hold for over an hour each time they would hang up on me. I sent them several emails over the past few months to which i received no reply, i must say though funny how the messages have stopped in the last 2-3 days!!

Calls continually drop out ill have to call someone 2-3 times just to have a 5 min convo! Had enough swapping companies so this doesnt affect my business!!
