Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

I HONESTLY CANT STOP LAUGHING AT SOME OF THE STUPIDEST THINGS PEOPLE HAVE WROTE ON HERE... HERES THE DOWN LOW...

MOST PHONES ARE NOW "SMART PHONES" THINK OF IT THIS WAY... its a mini computer in ure hand... "My phone freezes, cuts out, does weird stuff etc" Would you leave your computer running for 6 months and not turn it off or restart it?

"Phone isnt picking up reception" Have u taken your sim card out and put it back in or turned your phone off?

"Im not getting messages or cant send...." Have u checked ure settings?

All phone compaines has waiting times when u call thru to customer care... Ure in a queue DUMBASS!!"

Your phone was cut out for a day.. lets all go jump off a bridge because my phone is not working!!!

Last words... all your complaints on here are all stupid....

You just cannot seem to get a simple up-front TELEPHONE and DATA service. What you end up with is childish exploitative "plans" aimed at deceiving the user and ripping off his money

We need government legislation that forces every server to offer a basic plan at a regulated use-based price. If they want to offer other plans that is fine but a proper communications network is NOT a luxury - nor is it a child's toy - or a means of "respectable" exploitation handed to organised crime on a plate

A. My car is also running poorly. I will try taking the engine out and replacing it. Thanks for the tip genius. Why on earth should I have to do that on an HOURLY basis just to get reception back.

A. Gee, no. I just stood there are stared at the phone and hoped that it would work. Customer service answer at its best there! Next you will be telling me to "jiggle the cable".

Q. Ure in a queue DUMBASS!!
A. Nobody in a developed country should wait in a queue for 30 hours - unless you are calling a "less developed" country where the call centre is located. The reason the queue is so long is because their are so many issues DUMBASS!!

A. Have you ever considered that some people use their phone as their livelihood - like myself as an on-call doctor? Let's hope that none of your family ever need my services and their lives depend on it because, well, hey, I won't be contactable.

"Last words" - I read comments from persons like you and understand why some animal species eat their young at birth, and wish you're parents did the same...
