Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

6059 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is 100% at 28 Dec 2010 07:47:12 AM
I was originally with 3 and then it got taken over by Vodafone and this was the time I renewed my contract for two years. Since renewing with 3 under the Vodafone header and products I had consistent call drop outs. I could literally have my phone sitting on a table in front of me and watch the bar signals go up and down and then the call would drop out. This was consistent! At the time 3 Vodafone told me I am in a good coverage area. December 2010 I went in to look at finding a new plan to discover that I was now living in a bad coverage area... To this fact I found out that Vodafone was not going to be improving its 3 products anymore thus the coverage was only going to get worse. To this I discovered that they were going to 'migrate' me over to Vodafone in two days time without me knowing! Furthermore, if I wanted to do it that day before my next billing cycle they were going to charge me $45 flat rate for the 2 days + another $45 to have payments in advance + my $45 cap for that month. I could had avoided those fees if I waited 2 days and went in on my time whilst I should be at work or I would had been migrated over on the current plan with no fees. I had been a 3 Vodafone customer for 7 years and I asked them to give me a reason to stay with them.... they replied with, why should you leave? Optus won me over... 3 Vodafone then tried to stop me going to Optus by only discharging me from their network after 2 business days - if they waited a few more hours they would had charged me an extra $69 as it would had entered my new billing period! NEVER going 3 Vodafone AGAIN!
