Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

6340 Someone from ACT thinks vodafone is 1 zillion% FAIL at 28 Dec 2010 10:04:16 AM
A few years back I was in Nagambie holding my phone above my head trying to get reception to make a call to telstra because an oversized truck had driven down the street and pulled down the telephone wires. With mobile in hand held above my head and my eyes concentrated on the phone looking for signal bars,.. I FELL down a small curved gutter. I felt ok, a bit sore, until the next day in the shower as I was washing my hair I heard about 9 cracks from my back to my neck. Like vodafone reception,.. I was seized. My whole shoulders, neck and back were frozen. Could not move my neck or arms. My shoulders, neck and back were frozen solid. I got out of the shower and draped a towel to try and cover my womanly bits and called in pain to my dad. He came into the bathroom and I told him what had happened. He helped me to get dressed and called work to tell them I wouldn't be coming in. He tried to get me into the car to take me to the Shepparton Hospital. My body wasn't moving from the back up and this proved most difficult. He called an ambulance. .. I had to take a month of work. And to this day,.. I still have constant pain in my neck and shoulders and forever going to the chiropractor when I can afford it, panadine forte is a saviour and all because I could not get reception with vodafone. I have discovered accupuncture, but all these are just a pain cover up for something I suffer with every day. Going to the doctors and saying that I fell down a gutter, sober, looking for vodafone coverage on my mobile. My neck, back and shoulder pain will never go away. The expence on chiropractor and painkillers over 5 years is quite a lot. I also suffer from debilitating headaches because of the pain. No one willever understand how this has and will continue to affect me for the rest of my life. I am in tears writing this.
