Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

9209 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is ten million at 30 Dec 2010 04:44:03 PM
I have just left vodafone at Robina I could kill someone! My phone decided this morning it would not turn on. I am locked into a 24 month contract, I am 1 year and 10 days into said contract and was just informed my phone is no longer under warranty and will not be fixed by them. They will happily send it off to be fixed for me it will be $50 for them to send it then whatever charges it is to fix....my battery has erroded or some crap! When I refused this I was offered to purchase a new phone at my own expense but they couldn't guarantee my sim would work in the new phone and if not i would have to buy a new sim...another $50 I rang vodafone off my husbands phone after 1 hour 27 minutes I hung because I was being to charged to on his phone to fix my effing phone!!! This is after fighting with them all year about my bill...it was $86....so they took $860 of my credit card in January 2010 but have no fear I got a refund in July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They then charged me for cancelling a contract....which was another mistake. I got offered a fantastic job....too bad I ended up not getting it because my voice mail message didn't come through until a week later. MY sister I had a baby I congratulated her when I got the text message 4 days after the baby was born
30 Dec 2010 08:48:29 PM: I'm calling bullshit on this post. Manufacturing warranties are from the manufacturer i.e Nokia, Samsung, apple etc. not Vodafone. Check your handset instruction manual if you don't believe it. In fact Vodafone was the first to offer 2 year warranties for all phones except iphones purchased after 01/01/2010. Also, if the sim didn't work in the new phone then all that is needed is a sim swap which is free. If you're calling customer care from another phone and are being charged for being on hold then use the callback option! Take accountability for yourself okay. There are legitimate reasons to pissed at Vodafone, don't blame vodafone for stuff that isn't actually their fault. False complaints clog up the system and make it harder for the rest of us with real actual issues to get them timely resolved.
