Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

8775 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Failing in the extreme at 29 Dec 2010 09:28:16 PM
I cannot receive or make calls from my home, nor can I send or receive txts. Voicemail arrives 6-8 hours after a call has been made and seeing I have not paid for voicemail on my plan, that is the only way to access my phone, when I am out of my house! I moved from 3 to Vodaphone in November, same phone, same address, I had no problem with 3 and I have had not service from Vodaphone. My mobile number is the number given as an emergency for my children, and it doesnt work. In fact on December 4, my daughter was with a school group surfing and was badly stung by a bluebottle, my mobile did not forward the voicemail. It was some time later that the school contacted my home (fixed line) number to inform me of my daughter's distress and her request for me to collect her. The next day I made long calls from my fixed line to the Mumbai call centre who assured me that Randwick had excellent coverage. The coverage is so erratic as to be non-existent. They have failed to provide me with a reasonable or standard service, and take my money under false pretences. I am not a huge phone user. My needs are to organise work, and to manage the school activities and drop off and pick up arrangements of my children. Heaven forbid a real emergency to occur. I would like to know what Nigel Dews would do if the same things were happening to him. It is not acceptable and I will lose money if I break the contract. This needs to be addressed now.
29 Dec 2010 11:27:02 PM: Try and get through to the vodafone customer service and tell them you want out because of network issues. They should be listening now and if they don't you can go to the TIO. Vodafone isn't providing what you are paying for.
