Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

18064 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is only good use: This is the phone you give your toddler to play with, doesnt matter if they make a call it WONT work!!! at 21 May 2011 12:13:11 AM
Call after call made to Vodafone for help as the website said i have coverage yet i was getting none, time after time it was something wrong on my end: the SIM card is too old, so i replace it, the phone must be faulty so i buy a new one, doesn't work, so they tell me it must still be the phone, i inform them it is a BRAND NEW Vodafone phone (which then proceeded to freeze and not work sent it away to get fixed comes back worse), i assure them it has VODAFONE written on the damn thing, They then tell me it needs turning off and then turning back on, so i do this repeatedly - nothing. SMS's not going through or when they did it was in the dead of night, I get informed that there has always been service for my location and i need to recheck the internet and make sure i know where i am located(my locations spanded 2 towns i might add, from my house to my work NILL coverage at all, and yeah i think i know where i am located)
This went on for 3 years, the last straw during a call while expressing my frustration with the person assuring me the problem is on my end not theirs they hung up on me! In the end the decision to change phone providers was an easy one when A) i couldnt call emergency services when there was a fire in the middle of summer, location of the fire: next to a gas pipe line and B) When a car slammed head on doing 100km an hour into a Truck, luckily there were others there with RELIABLE providers. As much as i hate hate hate Telstra at least i know that i can make calls that could save a life. Do yourself a favor DO NOT GO WITH VODAFONE NO MATTER HOW GOOD THEY MAKE IT SOUND, YOU WILL BE SORRY.
