26 Mar 2012 - Update Highest Rated Pain Stories Highest Rated Gain Stories Vodafail Local Facebook Page
Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

971 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is bad at 19 Dec 2010 09:03:54 AM
we signed up to a combo deal, phone and internet (wireless). We live 10 km from CBD centre, we get good coverage of all networks. Then we made the switch to vodapain, don't even bother turning on the internet, called up vodaphone and we suddenly got 1 bar , they thought this was ok. the phone is unbelieveable, i can just be sitting down and suddenly i get 10 missed calls that could be a day old , 5mins old etc.
stuck in contract for another 14 months.

959 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is on hold for way too long at 19 Dec 2010 07:58:24 AM
I have been in contact with Vodafone over the past 2 days. Day one, on hold for 30 minutes, billing answers. I tell them I am not happy with their coverage and they have reneged on their end of the contract, therefore I will not accept and termination fees. I am told that I will need to speak to technical support. On hold for another full hour!!! After half an hour of trouble shooting, I am told I will relieve a call within 48 - 72 hours. No call. I call back. After 45 minutes of being on hold, some yahoo from overseas answers with the statement. 'Welcome to Vodafone, do not believe what you see on the news, it is not true.' WOW!!! Is that how they are training their staff. I beg to differ Vodafone, you do indeed have shocking coverage. Still no resolution, I am moving to another carrier. Shove the termination charge you now where!!!

I am sick of the poor coverage. It is all too common that I don't get calls or messages until an hour or so later. I can't wait to port to Telstra and I will be damned if Voda try to make me pay my ETC. I only have 1 month left but I can't wait any longer. The plan Telstra can offer is half the price, same level of calls and text but more tan double the data limit!!! See you later Vodafone, been a customer for over 5 years, but NEVER again.

We were with three for many years and happy but at renew time I switched to a VF plan (I wanted the HTC Legend) and since then nothing but trouble. Dropped calls, poor reception, no reception, poor customer service and incorrect billing both on my new plan and on the wife's which is still with 3. What a mess. BTW I must say the staff in the shops try their best to help but the phone support (join the kill Lara campaign anyone?) and on line services are bad bad bad.

Can't believe this behemouth of a company doesn't communicate at all with their customers with the easy access to the means for doing so. They are just thieves and will cancel my contract as soon as possible. They have shown nothing but contempt for us. No reception at Church Point where I live and on a recent trip to the north coast towns of South West Rocks was assured by local dealer that Vodafone used Optus infrastructure there but no reception and then again at Wauchope. Been putting up with Vodashit's crap for 21mths... only 3 to go. Same old stuff - constant call drops outs, no reception, missing txts sending/receiving. The classic - I sit at my bench on a call with full signal, I lean over 20cm and bam, zero signal, call drops out. And there's plenty of places where this occurs. Don't even get me started on their customer service. How do they continue to get away with it and sign up more naive suckers?

I use Just mobile that uses the Vodaphone Network. Continued poor reception, call drop outs, but most frustratingly, delayed voicemail and texts! Sometimes 48 hrs plus. It seems that when one finally gets through, another 5 come with it. This has got me into strife with the handbrake as she thinks I am ignoring her. As soon as my prepaid balance is zero, I am switching to Amaysin!!

938 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is a joke at 19 Dec 2010 06:55:00 AM
Many black spots on my mobile, even within view of Brisbane city, txt messages often take hours to come through or arrive (some times never) but worse is that when I send txt they often are sent multiple times every couple of minutes and I pay for them. Of course Vodafail tells me it's all in my head and unless I can prove I'm not actually sending these txt I won't be credited.
Last month I purchased a new lap top and now I have a $1200 paper weight thanks to Vodafail's pre-paid wireless modem. I wander around my home trying to get service and sit down where ever I find enough reception to get online. If I'm lucky it won't drop out for an hour or two, but generally even without moving it cuts in and out. I am afraid to do internet banking etc as I do not trust I will keep reception until I complete a transaction. Often at start up I get all sorts of messages like I have to activate my sim before I can use it or it can't find a network or it won't even allow me to click the connect button. Again, Vodafone tells me there is absolutely no service problems in my street and I can confirm that by checking their service coverage map. Apparently it is the fault of my new laptop and I should take it back to where I purchased it from. Surely contract law would be on our side as we are not getting what we are paying for, but really, who has the time or money to fight them? This is what they count on; that we will all just give up......I also contacted my bank to see if I could stop my direct debit and they told me I can't, only Vodafail can request to cancel it. So I can't even stop Vodafail from taking my money!

936 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is NO SERVICE !!! at 19 Dec 2010 06:21:16 AM
Have 3 phones on a business plan all the same problems. Dropped calls that frustrates customers and my staff are getting abused now because of Vodafail's poor service. Voicemail takes hours and even days to come through. I will have full 3G reception and in 10 seconds standing in the same place, same position the service will drop out (NO SERVICE) come back as low reception no 3G etc.
Trying to talk to a customer rep is like sliding naked over sand paper. The Vodafail network in India is just as bad from the sounds of things.
Tried to terminate the contract and was told to pay the contract in full.

In many occasions- probably once every week- I cannot use internet on my phone for no obvious reason. In the same location where there is usually good reception, this happens. I have experience many call dropouts. Until I read the article on this, I had been waiting for some spare time to change the mobile phone I got with Vodaphone couple of months back. I am disgusted!!

934 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Epic Fail! at 19 Dec 2010 06:04:32 AM
We live within viewing distance of the centre of Brisbane - but have *NO* mobile reception inside our house (NOT just 3G - NO RECEPTION). There is barely any reception outside the house - we have to drive a block or two to get decent reception.
The clincher is when I called Vodafone's "Customer Service" - and explained my issue to the 10 different people I talked to - all of whom (a) obviously were not in this country and (b) did not know where BRISBANE was..(!!!!!)
It's a sad day when Telstra is the better alternative..!!

927 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is suspicious drops at 19 Dec 2010 02:07:29 AM
I was a VF customer for quite a few years. Was getting suspicious of how often I got calls directed to voice mail (and hence charged a fee) when I was in an area with excellent coverage. The rate of calls that would also drop for no reason (and require a re-call with flag fee) also was increasing all the time. The last straw was when I'd get an SMS about a missed call... a week afterwards. Had never signed a conract (pre-paid only) so switching to another carrier was easy. Problems havegone away now.

922 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is as bad as their customers at 19 Dec 2010 12:03:52 AM

Hello people, do the fucking math.
a) Since vodafone and 3 have merged, vodafone are slowly converting all the 3 customers to their network. The network is overloaded.
b) rome wasnt built in a fucking day. Do you think it takes 1 hour to build and new tower and make the reception better...
c) Why do you think it takes so long to get through on the phone to customer care. Because their just sitting having a cup of coffee not answering the phone? no because just like this all you people are ringing to complain about an already known issue thats being worked on. not to mention all you consumer whores that want the iphone4 and then stare into the sky puzzled at why stored are "sold out".

Seriously, give them a break. It takes time to fix such a major issue. i do acknowledge businesses that are trying to run their own companies however do you actually think any of the other telco's are any better? Telstra rapes you for your money. Optus is shit on all fronts including reception. 3 makes you pay for data roaming charges and drops calls when it switches to its telstra/roaming reception. their all as bad as each other.

And Gill your a fucking dumb ass you signed up two years ago of course your 49 cap gives you 410 worth of credit each month. Do you really think that they would just automatically put you on the new one? no cause then you would have a bitch and a moan that they didnt get your consent. you can switch to the new 49 cap at anytime. they only gave you a credit to stop your whinging and demands!

27 Dec 2010 11:40:45 AM: AVOID OPTUS - They're billing is the worst of the lot. I've had two run-ins with them over the years, the last one had to be resolved by the TIO as they refused to accept that I had paid their bill, and were only interested in saying "pay up or we'll disconnect you" - my 4 business landlines plus mobile, the business has had the numbers for close to 20 years! The TIO got involved, and never heard from Optus again. Now a a very happy Telstra (mobile) and iPrimus (phones and fibre internet) user.

919 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is worst network on the earth at 18 Dec 2010 10:37:07 PM
I have been using Vodafone from more than 6months. I live at one of the hottest places of Melbourne city. There is hardly one point of signal outside the house and absolutely no signal in the house. Call always drops in the mid of the conversation and have to forget about reconnecting. I am also facing the frequent connection error problem. I have been told by the customer service representative that there might be some problem with the sim card; please replace the sim card which has got the more signal reception power. When I have personally gone to the Vodafone store, they said there are no sim cards which have got the more signal reception power. They have simply given me the same sim card and I am still facing the same problem. Clearly indicates that there is no coordination between them. That Customer service is the worst; we have to leave the phone on for hours together for our turn to talk to the customer service representative. Some times mobile battery might get flat before we get our turn. They said they are in the progress of some technical improvement, but I have not seen any improvement from past 6months. Finally I would like to say that Vodafone is the worst network service I ever seen in my life.

912 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is In theory poor performance is hard to challenge... at 18 Dec 2010 09:48:14 PM
In mobile network or railway network even if service providers have performance commitments with Govt agency these companies use very simple trick to get away with poor service...law of averaging..the commitments are never made for peak time/peak location...for example uncongestion commitments are seldom made for a calculation period less then a day and for a location smaller then a suburb. So in theory there can be peak time chaos at a location but when averaged out over a longer period/ larger area the performance can still be justified as with in limits. Moreover the regulator depends on the honesty of data from service provider. To independently verify the performance specially of a mobile network is extremely expensive exercise.

A network provider may have contractual obligation to customer set at quite low limits but will generally provide quality only because of competition. This means if quality is poor he may not be able to get more customers but it may still be not in breach of existing customer contracts.

When it comes to mobile network. Radio waves by nature are never guaranteed to work all times. To prove that it is not an act of god but it is a poor network can be very difficult for a individual consumer pitched against organised professionals. Customers can be told it is their faulty handset. However service provider will know fault is at their end if many customer face problems.

911 Someone from Somewhere else thinks vodafone is VF Aussie Network. at 18 Dec 2010 09:46:02 PM
While travelling in a sydney train. I met a guy who worked with vf contractor. He told me this...VF sub-contracts its network maintainance...(For those who don't know Optus & Telstra run their own network where as Vodafone network is run by contracting company) The working conditions and quality of staff was very poor and the place is under staffed. This company further hires contractor and for some reasons not many staff stays there for too long. This company is paid for each fault fixed...so the more faults the more this company makes...it is very hard to pin point in mobile network who was responsible to create fault in first place..The company does temp fix the fault comes again in new shape nd they make more money..bcos they are paid for each fault attended..Vodafone in Australia has business model to target low end cutomer and Business customer. When a business complains they install a cheap repeater at his premises to boost signal..but if business PPL are moving they can have poor coverage. The reason if you see full signal but can't call will be the network is overloaded nd has no capacity left to take call..The only good thing bout Vodafone is it is dirt cheap nd in 80% places it will work fine..If you are always moving nd you want no call drop at peak time/ congested area then Vodafone is not for you.
27 Dec 2010 11:20:11 AM: Telstra do not maintain their own network, nor do Optus, they all sub-contract it out - same as for pay TV installations.

Maybe everyone on here should read their contracts! It does state that there can be drops in coverage, and guess what, you have agreed to the T&Cs! If you don't speak with Vodafone first or contact them via their webiste, the TIO can't do much until you speak with them first. Vodafone now does have a call back option, use it, and someone will call you back.

I suspect Vodafail Online and Vodafail Retail are competing for sales sometimes, that's why if you bought your phone Online and try to ask for support in the retail shop, they tend to be un-cooperative. If that's the case, one has to ask Vodafail management on their business model which discourges overall customer support.

How can you get congestion causing call dropouts and inability to dial out in the middle of Melbourne on a so called "Tier one" telco? I couldn't even call for an ambulance if i needed to. On top of the voicemail delayed delivery "feature" , constant drop outs and the blackspots this really shows how poor the network has become. 3rd world mobile networks perform better.

I moved to Sydney, and the network was so unusable as to really mess with my life. I couldn't SMS my wife to arrange to meet her somewhere, because it might take 24-36 hours to get through. On weekends, it was pointless even trying to make phone calls; They wouldn't go through half the time. The internet on my phone was slow as to be unusable. The net is never accessible; the 3G network is woeful and drains the hell out of my battery because it can never be found; sending text messages fails... often; calls drop out all the time, worse than a decade ago when we all had bricks; Oh yeah, I'm on a $120+ a month plan, so maybe I was expecting too much?

Hi guys I work for a telco ( not voda ) and must say that 70% of new customers that join our network come from vodafone. I hear all the complaints and stories about why ( customers point of view) vodafone is a "fail". Vodafone is the biggest telco in the world - this may be a major reason on my the network has gone downhill. They know that customers will
Sign up with them because it is a household name - they know they won't have trouble getting customers and profit- so they focus less on there customer service, and the voda service and network
Itself. If u haven't noticed 3 and voda have come together recently. I have seen numerous stores being shut down. (cost cutting) as well as not upgrading there network to the ever growing mass use of mobile phones. At the end of the day, it's about being confident that you can make a call when you need to - not about saving a few dollars a month. I'll stay in touch.

861 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Didn't buy a plan that came with reception. at 18 Dec 2010 04:53:52 PM
I was a moderately happy Optus customer, the phone worked perfectly the people not so well. But I moved to Vodafone when I got an iPhone 4. Since then I rarely get a signal and most of the times my phone says it has reception it is a lie. I will receive mutliple missed calls and messages all of a sudden when my phone stumbles upon a pocket of reception.

So I lodged a complaint and so far I have only had automated responses.

I was a happy Optus customer. My sister lobbied me and most of my family onto Voda for the free time. First 6 months were good, but it has progressively become worse, particularly since 3 share the same network ( I think they used to use Telstras network). I have 10 months left on this contract, which I intend to honour, but will be leaving it on day 1 of the contract ending.

If someone rings my vodaphone I have to walk out into the street to talk, and even that is poor reception. An absolutely usless contract made with vodaphone at my expense.

Time to switch Networks methinks, I no longer receive phone calls. I get voicemail calls about two hours after the fact. Very embarrassing when I have to call my clients back and explain the situation. On top of that I have to pay for the calls which otherwise I would not have to if I had a phone reception.

Very disappointing.

South Eastern Victoria

For some months this year In used prepay 3g Voda broadband for interent radio for about 1-2 hours per day. The prepay modem being conntected to a wifi router feeding signal to the internet radio. However, the radio kept continously dropping out because the modem kept needing to re-acquire the network. Unlocked the modem and changed to prepay Virgin broadband (Optus network) still using the same wifi router. The 3g signal strength here being the same. Suddenly no problems, only very rarely does the internet radio drop out. The comparison Voda dropped out here every few minutes, Virgin dropouts are very rare most days none at all.

844 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is substandard and unable to deliver on contract at 18 Dec 2010 02:09:52 PM
Called Vodafone to register call dropouts, lack of coverage etc;
A recorded message recommended I leave my name and phone number so that a consultant could call back when I had progressed in the queue.
Over an hour later, I did get a call back - only to be put back in the queue! 10 minutes later, a consultant answered. And then my call dropped out.
Vodafone, you really are doing the wrong thing by your customers. And ultimately you will be forced to apologise and compensate. Your lack of responsiveness wins you no fans. In Australia, consumers appreciate transparency.
I, a customer for over 8 years will be leaving and not coming back.
My lifetime customer value will be going somewhere else.
Do the maths Vodafone and sort yourselves out.

If you are not with Vodafone and are considering signing up with them, don't. Read this forum, search the whirlpool forums and read the news. Vodafone have a terrible network and poor, poor service.

842 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Very poor at 18 Dec 2010 01:55:30 PM
My company changed provider from Telstra to Vodafone 12 months ago. I have experienced nothing but constantly dropped calls, inability to connect calls and poor data coverage. I work in The Rocks in NSW and our office is in an area where their is apparently a "black-spot" meaning we receive very erratic, intermittent services.

I sometimes receive voicemails 6 -8 hours late. My customers think that I am being rude and not responding to their calls. Our company first reported the issue 10-11 months ago but it is an ongoing issue for us.

I say return us to Telstra so we can enjoy trouble free, drop-out free, instant voicemail services.

Thanks

840 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is sucking, but not in a good way. at 18 Dec 2010 01:29:16 PM
I was overjoyed when my prepaid $29 Cap was suddenly updated to 500MB bandwidth allowance. "This is awesome!" I thought to myself at the time, a justification to buying my iPhone upfront.

Except. Most of the time, a large majority of the time, even, I am unable to connect to the 3G network, or even the regular one. I bought an iPhone in the first place so that I could take advantage of being connected wherever I went - this is useful for my job which requires me to travel around the city a lot. I have lost count of the times I have been caught at 2am in an unknown place (my job often finishes at this time), and frikkin Vodafone refuses to connect to the network or, when it does, is so slow it is unusable.

The Vodafone 3G maxes out at 45kbps. This is when it does connect. This isn't broadband, or even fast. This is a joke, and the assholes are charging us for uploads as well, so everytime you have to reload that page which has timed out for the nth time, Vodafone is effectively stealing money off you. Byte. By. Byte.

If Vodafone stopped throwing Island parties (I kid you not - Vodafone owns a party barge moored just outside Taronga Zoo), maybe they could afford a proper network, real people to speak with and free blowjobs all around.

Still, they are better than Optus (who once tried to screw me out of $800+ dollars and who, btw, just threw a massive 6000 person Christmas party yesterday) and Telstra (just because). I am paying $0.50 per text message. WTF? A message is a tiny tiny amount of data, how can they continue ripping us off like this? Enough is enough.

Vodafail.

You guys are retarted, if things dont work on your phone maybe try and be patient and go into a store like EVERYONE ELSE! Or if you call up Customer Care pronounce your words clearly and you will be handled by the right department. Also if it is a phone problem more times than one it is a software issue and all you need to do is visit your home computer rather than bitch about a network provider who dont manafacture the phones. e.g. if your iphone isnt working why dont you moan to apple rather vodafone seeing as last time I checked they make the phone. So next time sort your problems out properly and learn to be patient.

My partner has been getting the slow/delayed SMS messages to the point that SMS'ing her is essentially useless. Most of the messages turn up 12-24 hours late and come through in a flurry... this is with the phone in a location with full reception all day.

The visual voicemail is always unreliable on iPhone's as well, I often get the notification that I have a message and when I go to fetch it, it isn't there. If I wait half an hour the message will eventually turn up and I can access it properly.

Everytime I have called Vodafone to complain they have blamed the handset or my location (CBD), I am glad someone has put a website together to provide Vodafone feedback, I thought we were the only ones suffering!

Been a Three customer for years & always had ok coverage - but as soon as they merged with Vodaphone, my coverage dropped out entirely in the house. (despite 3 asuring me nothing has technically changed yet. I no longer have service on 3G in the house - the only way I can keep my phone operating is to leave it set to 2G only. Reception is terrible & echoes, and Data is not worth bothering its so slow.

I reported this problem to Three over a month ago, the response was poor. The extent of their technical support was 4 different people telling me on 4 separate occasions - "have you turned your phone off and back on again, turn of 3G..."

I've now waited over a month for them to "Investigate" the network coverage problem, and today they reported back to me: Apparently they have not found any problem with the network "because no one else in my area has reported a problem within 500m of my house" (their words exactly) !!!!

So basically - because no one else has complained - they are not prepared to do anything or even admit there might be a problem... So everyone else out there, don't forget to report the problems you are having...

Hi Ho Hi Ho - its off to the TIO....

Bought a Blackberry and was assured by Vodafone that I would have full 3g and Data coverage in Wollongong, transfered my service from a 'no plans' to a Blackberry package, immediately after I activated the phone I had no or only GSM service. Unless I'm standing immediately under a mobile tower I have very little coverage and I'm unable to use any of the functions of the phone. Calls continually drop out, emails sometimes take 24 hours from sender to me, voice mail messages have arrived 2 days later, the list goes on. I have noticed a slight improvement in coverage in the past week but its still intermittent with periods of ZERO coverage. Tried contacting Customer Service, but as the calls continually drop out unless I get an answer in 45 seconds or less, I have no hope. Tried emailing my problem to them, several automated emails over 3 weeks I'm no closer. Made a complaint to the TIO and have had a reply from them but no joy from Vodafone. 6 weeks into the debacle, I'm still paying bills for something I'm not getting and my service is still CRAP!

Our business recently signed up to Vodaphone. What a disaster!! We have 10 mobiles on this plan and everyone is complaining of late SMS messages, no reception and at times an inability to call out or receive calls even when signal strength appears ok. Just about everyone in the organisation has tried ringing the so called service department to get answers. After sitting on hold for half the day they run you through a std script which will only frustrate the hell out of the caller. One of their operators recently blamed the phones that we were using. Fortunately the phones were bundled with the plan, so Vodaphone sent out new phones at no cost. Guess what? Same Problems!!! Do not use Vodaphony... Especially for your business!

How the hell can you NOT get 3G coverage in the center of the city? What is this Edge crap? So many call drop outs, data problems....

Did they not anticipate that if they have more customers (with the merger with 3) that there would be a significantly larger load on their services?

Telstra may have wider coverage of the country, but Voda/3 can't use that as an excuse. They're not a struggling start-up with funding and support issues.

I went with Voda because they had competitive plans. Don't tell me that cheap prices means cheap services? And when they say that they 'plan on upgrading' in the future, what the hell does that even mean? Surely the services would have been upgraded YEARS ago for this very reason, especially if they were even PLANNING on merging with 3?

I've been on Vodafone for about four years now. I have some areas where I know coverage is limited. But I can accept this as it is usually in areas that I am transiting through.

I recently signed up for the pocket wifi. It is working fine for me. I use it for my iPhone when I am not in a normal wifi for data. Speeds are great. Happy with the price.

One thing that does to get me with Voda is the long long long wait times. When I called to make dome prepurchase enquiries about the pocket wifi, wanted to see if I could use bonus dollars for purchase, Lara told me it would approx 40 mins until my call was answered. I thought what a joke.

I think Voda should sort out the call centre and reduce answer times for people. And put a public notice in the paper And their website to advise people who have been having problems that they acknowledge this and that they are working to resolve it. I think a good will gesture may be to credit all contract customers and prepaid some credit to say Sorry.

After calling Vodafone about numerous call drop-outs, no internet access in 3G/2G and unable to send texts or make phone calls I FINALLY got some sense out of a CSR.

"Sir, I apologise but our network is congested beyond its capabilities at the moment. We are looking to upgrade sites in the future to deal with the sudden growth of customers using our network, but for the time being, there isn't really anything I can do to help you"

The helpful CSR even recommended that I switch to Telstra.

Vodafone are FULLY aware of the congestion issues, but are happily still signing up customers, and lowering their prices to get more and more and more people on board, thus adding to the issue.

followed pointless instructions about turning off the firewall and non-Microsoft services.

This is what really shits me about Vodafone customer services. They give you the run around and get you to do pointless troubleshooting when they know full well that the network is the problem (most of the time).

I've had Internet issues before with an iPhone 4, called up and was told to reset network settings, reflash phone, upgrade firmware yada yada only to be then told when all that failed that there was an Internet outage.

778 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is a joke at 18 Dec 2010 09:54:59 AM
Been having drop outs, nil reception, late arriving messages, people calling me and asking why my phone is off, when its always on.
I want out!!!!! Complained to India and they said investigation will take 72 hours and I will get a call back. Knew that wouldn't happen, called again andd they said give us another 24 hours. That is before one dickhead lied and said his system was down and another hung up on me. It's with the ombudsman now. I will continue with the ombudsman until vodafail loses more than what my contract is worth

776 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is No Customer Service - EVER at 18 Dec 2010 09:49:13 AM
After 6 years with Vodafone it was time to seek another Telco as I could never get any network coverage nor customer service with Vodafone. I have a baby and for safety reasons needed to know my phone would work, it would often take me 5 tries to get a line out and then drop out after a few minutes. I tried to complain but it takes 40mins on hold to speak with anyone in Mumbai. Last week I went to a Vodafone shop, their network was down so they could not help with questions, I called the service hotline was on hold for 45mins to be told that their network was down and to call back in 3hours. I have been told a Supervisor would ring back, they never do. If you call Vodafone 123 that is a minimum cost of $4.77 - disgusting. And if I ever have to listen to Lara again I will go mad. Well I won't have to listen to Lara again as I have moved to Optus!
