Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

12136 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is generous to it's 3% of customers that want out at 11 Jan 2011 06:27:04 PM
Even if every post was a single new complaint about Voda say 11000 posts divide that into say 4000000 customers (theres more than that) and then say times in by 10 cos for every 1 that bothers etc...you get 2.75% of customers complaining including ones that haven't with very generous maths! Simple maths proves that the problem is affecting way less people then this site would make it appear. Talk about blowing things out of proportion. Soon things will be better for you 3% rest assured...
11 Jan 2011 06:37:48 PM: Simple logic tells you that 90% + of people do not even know about this site, and further to that the majority of people don't post on blogs. 11,000 customers represents a huge sample size of customers. If it is not such a big issue, why are you here even posting? I know we have had other VHA staff post here saying just about every customer is walking into stores these days abusing them. Now if that is true, that is a far bigger number than the 3% you claim this is affecting ;)
11 Jan 2011 08:38:18 PM: methinks he/she (let's call him Sheldon!) works for vodafone maybe??
11 Jan 2011 09:41:13 PM: I'm too tired to even check Opie's cheerful arithmetic. Can question it's ability to read (and maybe it's numeracy) whenthe post before was 12 135.
This site contains posts by up to 12,160 people. Let's say 11000 people are upset enough to post their complaints.Apparently only 10% of the unique visitors to this site.10 000 people- not a percentage of anything- who are able to write English well enough to detail or outline the Vodafone problem for them. 10,000 people with internet access.
And some cynical bean counter is promising "things will be better". I just wish Vodafone staff would p!ss off - what are you doing here? These people are the the Vodafone customers who really don't believe you any more.Maybe only 3% of Vodafone victims, which is probably close to 100% of VF customers - and you just write their troubles down because you've decided they aren't a large enough proportion of your customers and insult us,really insult us, with a nebulous promise.Just p!ss off.
12 Jan 2011 05:16:15 AM: Hey reread the post. I generously timesed the problem by 10 after eliminating a fair amount of non-unique or pro-vodafone customers. Let me assure you I don't work for Vodafone. Why the personal attack on someone trying to bring some rationality to all this. Why don't you want healthy debate? Why are you so attacking. You accuse me of a lack of literacy and numeracy skills but mate you just made yourself look like a dope. You did it to yourself.
12 Jan 2011 07:42:22 AM: I'm not your mate. And if you don't directly work for Vodafone, you're not only a suckhole for making promises on Vodafone's behalf that neither of you can keep,"you just made yourself look like a dope". It's not anything to do with kindness, I know it is impossible to have a "healthy debate" with an idiot. I look stupid by even dignifying your answer with a response.Perhaps I have misunderstood the purpose of this site;there'll be time for "healthy debate" when things go to court, and hopefully other places, like parliament. I don't like "debate" when it is just people trying to impose their own points of view on others, and trying to score points off "opposition".
Even if there was only 1 person, total, on this site, a miniscule proportion of Vodafone's customers, that one person was not getting his problem with Vodafone sorted until he made a lot of noise, which indicates the contempt Vodafone holds for its customers.
12 Jan 2011 07:43:47 AM: Are you suggesting that all the posters on the facebook page associated with this site are the product of someone creating multiple false identities?
12 Jan 2011 08:46:33 AM: OK everyone, take a deep breath........hold it........breathe out, ahhh.......that's so much better, can we please cease the name calling and continue the discussion (debate call it what you will) in a nice adult way? Thank you Vodafail.com mod
12 Jan 2011 09:23:09 AM: He started it!
