Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

I have an iphone 3Gs and until a few months ago had no issues. I then discovered that my emails were not being delivered from the phone, or some were, randomly at best. I tried the store staff and then tech support and no-one could fix it until I found this article.
http://jamesone111.wordpress.com/2010/12/16/how-to-get-isp-mail-over-smtp-on-vodafone/
Which solved the problem that no-one from Vodafail or 3 could.
My advise to people using an iPhone 3Gs is to do a couple of test emails via the sim and then via wi-fi. Just because your phone makes the swoosh sound, don't assume your message has been sent.

22 Jan 2011 09:58:24 AM: See what happens when you try and solve your own problems. Did you know most people having problems on the VF network are Iphone slaves mmmmmm coincidents? I think not. Maybe the next website should be called AppleIfail.com.....VODAFRIEND
22 Jan 2011 10:00:29 AM: That is because it is the most popular phone in the world. The iPhone works perfectly on the other networks, it is just vodafones network that cannot cope with Smartphones.
22 Jan 2011 10:08:10 AM: Did you know that the famous Death Grip that affected iPhone 4 also affects its other models in a lesser degree. And apple even admitted it. The sales however were not affected because Iphone slaves blame networks rather then their handset. Alot of People buy smartphones without having the slightest idea on how to use them and they always take their frustration out on their network rather then face the fact they may be not smart enough to learn thier new toy.....VODAFRIEND
22 Jan 2011 10:23:13 AM: VODAFRIEND = VODAFONE EMPLOYEE.....gotta laugh at their attempts to defend poor service from Vodafone. Blame the phone or the customer right ?
22 Jan 2011 10:36:51 AM: I have a blackberry and have the same problems - especially with coverage. So definitely VODAFAIL still!!
22 Jan 2011 01:23:57 PM: coverage is far from perfect but VF are not the only ones, Optus and Telstra have problems to, ever tried to use Optus Mobile internet? FAIL ever tried to get an issue sorted out in a Telstra store? FAIL but you all will find out when you port your numbers out. But thank you all for your money. Sign here please ;)_______________X
22 Jan 2011 09:27:04 PM: 03:23:57 Oh so you try to legitimise the lack of service, failed network, incompetence and dishonesty , buck passing and victim blaming regarding all these issuses, by saying its ok for vodafone to conduct business like this because other networks have problems??????
22 Jan 2011 09:32:45 PM: Telstra has the best network, coverage and performance in Australia ... Obviously "22 Jan 2011 03:23:57 PM" is any employee of vodafone :/
23 Jan 2011 06:16:28 AM: Obviously is an employee, a misguided one at that, and a real bottom feeder in the vodafone food chain, because anyone at vodafone with any insight would just shut up, tow the company line, and wait patiently for this debacle to settle down
