Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

14641 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is The worst ever fail!! at 25 Jan 2011 07:45:10 PM
Where do i start !! currently living in Temporary accomadation since Dec 2009...
Needed internet connection so i thought i'll just get mobile wireless broadband instead of cable till i sort my accodation issue out...
So i went to vodafone my first stop and i went on the 24mth 6G plan sounded good to me!!! The employee checked the connectivity in my area Hurstville and said " oh there is very good coverage in your area so i went ahead with the contract...
Since December 2009 till today.. My internet connection has been terrible....
Talk about hormonal!!!! on a morning it will connect then at lunch time it disconnects or a internet page takes ages to download!!! so then i switch it all off and start again hoping for the best.. I then may try skype well forget it, never have i had a good conversation it's like talking to someone over at Gilligans Island!!! after so much patience i then proceed to call vodafone customer service thank god it's for free from a mobile phone..
So then begins the Lara Saga!!!! LARA IN 2 YRS HAS NEVER EVER BEEN ABLE TO HELP ME WITH ANY PHONE CALL I HAVE EVER MADE TO VODAFONE I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD TO WAIT SO SHE CAN REDIRECT MY CALL TO A REAL PERSON....
BY THAT POINT MY DAY HAS BEEN WASTED !!! OOOOHHHH HANG ON A REAL PERSON THEN COMES ON !! AND NO DISRESPECT TO ANY NATIONALITY IT'S ALWAYS A PERSON FROM INDIA
WHO IN TWO YEARS I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN ABLE TO GRASP THEIR NAME THE FIRST TIME THEN ONLY TO HAVE TO POLITELY TRY AND ASK 50,000 TIMES OVER AND OVER AGAIN WHAT THEIR NAME IS SO I CAN JOT IT ALL DOWN FOR MY RECORDS!!! AND MIND YOU THE RECEPTION TO THESE PEOPLE IS STILL LIKE TALKING TO SOMEONE OVER IN GILIGANS ISlAND!!!!!!
VODAFONE YOU MUST TRY AND UNDERSTAND PEOPLES IMMENSE FRUSTRATION AT THIS POINT!!!! IT MUST BE FRUSTRATING FOR THESE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE AS WELL DEALING WITH ANGRY CUSTOMERS BUT IT IS NOT THE CUSTOMERS FAULT HERE...
SINCE MY BROADBAND CONNECTION FROM DEC 2009 I MUST HAVE SPOKEN TO AT LEAST 20 EVEN MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF REGARDING THE CONNECTION ISSUE..
AT TIMES MY CONNECTION WOULD SAY USED UP ALL 6G DATA CANNOT CONNECT, OR IT WOULD DING AND FLASH LIKE I CAN'T TELL YOU..I WAS CONSTANTLY TOLD WE NEED TO START AN INVESTIGATION BUT I NEEDED TO CALL EVERY TIME IT WENT ALL FUNNY FOR THEM TO INVESTIGATE...
BUT" HELLO VODAFONE THERE IS NOBODY OPEN AT MIDNIGHT OR 11PM AT NIGHT WHEN MY INTERNET CONNECTION GOES ALL HORMONAL!!! NOT EVEN DAMMMM LARA"
BEFORE I PASS OUT WITH A HEART ATTACK ONE DAY TRYING TO DEAL WITH ALL THIS I HAVE JUST DECIDED TO DEAL WITH IT TILL I REGAIN STRENGTH TO BE ABLE TO SORT THE ISSUE OUT AGAIN.... BUT TODAY WAS THE ICING ON THE CAKE!!!
25TH JAN 2011 I DECIDE TO REGISTER ONLINE ON VODAFONE WEBSITE TO TOP UP MY MOBILE PRE PAY THE 365 DAY RECHARGE... FRUSTRATINGLY DOING SO WITH A VERY SLOW CONNECTION I ACTUALLY MANAGE IT BUT HANG ON !!!!! OHHHH TO GOOD TO BE TRUE...
IT WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY MASTERCARD IT SAID I HAD TRIED IT TOO MANY TIMES ... THAT'S VERY STRANGE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!! ANYWAY IT SAYS CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE SO HERE GOES !! LARA ANSWERS AND AS PER USUAL COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME...
A LADY COMES ON AND I TELL HER THE ISSUE AND SHE SAYS YOU HAVE TO GO TO A VODAFONE STORE I'M SORRY TO TOP UP BECAUSE VODAFONE DOES NOT ACCEPT COMMONWEALTH BANK CARDS CREDIT OR DEBIT THEY DON'T HAVE AN AGREEMENT!!!
WHAT A JOKE ARE YOU SERIOUS THE COMMONWEALTH BANK THIS DAY AND AGE 2011.... GIVE ME A BREAK !!!!
VODAFAIL YOU ARE IN NEED OF SERIOUS HELP SERIOUS SERIOUS!!!!!!!!
TODAY I THEN WENT AND JOINED VIRGIN MOBILE FOR MY PHONE AND WILL BE SOON FOLLOWING ONCE I REGAIN CONSCIOUSNESS FROM ALL OF THIS FOR MY INTERNET BROADBAND.. ARRIVADERCI VODAFAIL YOUR A DISASTER ZONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

25 Jan 2011 09:26:27 PM: OHHHHHHHHH and i forgot when i went into the store to top up my pre pay , i was telling the vodafone employee about not being able to use commonwealth debit card with vodafone online to top up !!! and of no surprise she had no idea and responded back with ohh "really" what a disgrace ........
