Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

16106 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Who Knows at 3 Mar 2011 10:28:15 AM
I find it funny that everyone on here is moaning and complaining about Vodafone, Some of these people have just signed up in the past month or so, do they not read the papers, listen to the news and look into the network that they are signing up to? There has been enough media coverage about Vodafone over the past 6 -12 months.

I also find it funny that most of the people on here seem to think that it is ok to use foul and abusive language in their posts. Would you speak like that to someone at the TIO? Would you also refuse to talk to the TIO if that person is Indian? I doubt it, So why do we all seem to be so annoyed that we are speaking to an Indian on the other end of the Phone? They are also people and they are in fact trying to get a resolution to your problems, so I think it is time that we spoke to them with a little respect and humility.

I agree with most of the comments on here, VODAFONE are having network problems, it is effecting a number of people, each of us deals with this in different ways, I was 12 months into a 24 month agreement with a iPhone 4, It cost me $850 to terminate my contract, however it was money well spent in my eyes, Everyone has a choice, You can all terminate your contract, or you can all carry on moaning and complaining until your contract expires and you have spent the same amount for a sub standard service.

30 Mar 2011 11:26:40 AM: That's very true. Aussies are whingers.
2 Apr 2011 02:22:17 PM: Fool. Why pay $850 to terminate a contract when you are getting sub-standard service? You should have gone to the TIO. Soft-touches like you just encourage the corporates to screw their customers.
