Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

17675 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Ultrafail at 4 May 2011 03:28:09 PM
Got an iphone from vodafail on upgrade from existing plan, thought my old phone was faulty. Turns out it was vodafail and their so called network. Brought in the TIO and got released from my contract by vodafail, or so I thought. They received the iphone handset on 3rd of March. Sent them an email from myvodafone and got prorata bill for the time I had the handset which I thought was somewhat fair but never got a reply. Then just recently got a new bill for a new month with an overdue amount, lost my rag and rang them. Asked them if they had received the phone which I knew they had coz I had Auspost tracking number. They confirmed it and said i would be disconnected in 3 to 5 working days. Also asked why they didnt disconnect as I didnt have the phone but they did, did they think I liked having no handset but an active service? They said they werent sure if I wanted to be disconnected even though I photocopied the letter they sent me and included with the handset when I returned it. That was 2 weeks ago. Rang my old number yesterday and yep, there is my voice on the voicemail. This company sets new low standards for customer service. Back in the hands of the TIO again *sigh*. So very glad I never gave them bank details to take my money at their convenience.
