Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

18072 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Once again, failed at 22 May 2011 12:34:29 AM
I previously posted of my experiences since late November, when all went so horribly wrong. Prior to this I was enjoying mobile broadband of at least 1.5Mbps, which I was more than comfortable with. Anyway, I noticed problems starting before I left to go overseas for nearly two months. Got back, same annoyances. Roll on 3 months, still the same level of failure. I contacted the ombudsman, they contacted Vodafail who contacted me saying that I had been released from my 24 month contract as requested and that I could have my last month's regular charge of $39.99 gratis. In the last week, tired of waiting for the supposed upgrade of their network to materialise, I decided to end it all. With vodafail. Called em up and got through to the cancellations department. Had quite a bit of fun with the call centre bod who seemed to be willing to offer up her first born should I choose to stay on... $10 of your bill, no contract, free Mega modem, mo delivery charge...and so it went. I settled that it couldn't hurt for her to send me a new MEGA modem. Received the modem, was getting a lift home from outside Penrith in Sydney's west and... yes! i was getting 3Mbps. Couldn't believe my eyes. So how bloody disappointing was it to get back to my apartment in Chippendale in the CENTRE of Sydney to resume my post November 2010 service of a mighty...0.08Mbps. Yes, you read it right-one fiftieth of the signal strength I was expecting. Absolutely pathetic, Vodafail. Shame on you and all your empty promises.
