Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

19168 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is mega fail at 16 Aug 2011 07:25:01 PM
I'm getting sick of having to call every month since I resigned due to my bill being incorrect... First it was the fact they had cancelled my insurance, but were still charging me for it.. Then after telling me they wont be charging me for it anymore, THEY STILL DID. And now after asking for 4-5 months, they will only give me a credit for insurance for two of those months!
I'm SO very tempted to cancel my contract and have to pay out the $1000 or whatever it would cost just to be rid of them!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR
16 Aug 2011 08:19:19 PM: I think as the moderator has suggested a few times, if you follow the TIO path, you'll be able to have your contract cancelled free of charge. - I'll assume as a Vodafone customer you have other issues too. - You just have to lodge a complaint or two and then you'll have legitimate grounds (at that point, Vodafone will more than likely suggest the free cancellation).
17 Aug 2011 12:02:39 PM: The person above is correct. There is no need to pay out a contract for service that you are not receiving. Once you go through the TIO you will receive a call from Vodafone within 10 days and they will discuss your options. If you can, keep a record of all the problems you have had and how many times you have called Vodafone. Then keep insisting that you want to get out of your contract without paying.

It might sound a bit tedious but it's well worth it if the service isn't getting better. Goodluck!
