Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

I have a $80 month plan (includes insurance), and was promised in July 2009 when I took out the 24 month contract that my area - Bendigo (a regional center with over 110,000 residents) would be on the 3G network by the end of August 2009. Its now December 27th 2010 and STILL no 3G!!! WTF? I have NO reception at home and I live 4km from the CBD and can only use my 3G when I head to Melbourne! Vodafone sucks. I can't wait to be out of my contract in July and go to Telstra, at least if I have to pay for a premium service I would like to be able to ... I don't know ... actually use it!
I did find the following note on this website amusing:
"Nick also recommends that if disaster strikes and you need to make a call, switch to 2G temporarily ie, switch off 3G (of course switching away from Vodafone is best). You might even want to keep your phone on 2G in case people are trying to call, can you believe we have to do this?"
I would love to have the option of switching between 3G and 2G BUT because vodafone is 'special needs' in my area I'm lucky to even get half a bar of reception on my high tech wiz-bang iphone which can't be used to its full potential unless I use the Wifi at Uni ... omg why not use a itouch? Vodafone you suck!
