Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

been signed up for the last 2 months, must have had my head buried in the sand coz never heard of this many problems before. Changed over from 3, which in Townsville provided us with roaming via Telstra, and always had a reliable edge signal. Whilst in Melbourne my wife and i got our new phones on contract. We had good coverage, even whilst in the Yarra Valley, full HSPA signal. On returning home to Townsville however is where the problems started. My phone's battery was crap, barely lasted 10 hours on standby doing nothing on the phone. Was told by the phone support, goto the store have it swapped over on early life. Got to the store to be told that it couldnt be done as I had got my phone from a dealer not the company, and would have to wait 2 weeks for it to be sent out in the mail. I cracked it. After hours of arguing, the store eventually caved it and gave me a new phone. Amonst all of this, when asking the phone support about my signal issues, the guy said "we can only guarantee coverage outside, we cant guarantee it inside your house". What the? I cracked again. How could i get brilliant signal from 3 (roaming on Telstra) anywhere i went in Townsville, and not with these idiots when they are the same company now? Am very disappointed, should have stayed with 3 until they disappeared as least would have reliable signal.
