Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

Yes i am having network problems with vodafone but i have also been a customer of the companies you list as an alternative and they to have the same problems. After looking at this website i have 2 questions.
1) Is the owner connected to any rival telco network?
2) is the owner of this website earning affiliate commissions on clicks to the alternative companies this site recommends?
Reason why i ask is because Telstra and Optus and Virgin and all the others have exactly the same connection issues as vodafone, only difference is Telstra and Optus charge much higher fees.
And i am not a vodafone employee... Dont be fooled everyone they are all the same, we are now using more smartphones than ever before and all networks are suffering.
27 Dec 2010 05:05:41 PM: I am really sorry they are NOT all the same. I have a friend on Vodafone and it is always HIS call that drop out in the middle. No-one else who calls me has this problem.

Yes they all have issues, none is perfect but Vodafone hit rock bottom once they introduced their unlimited plans. Their network was swamped and they have not yet recovered

27 Dec 2010 05:13:52 PM: PS I have changed changed to Telstra and coverage and data is BRILLIANT. Like super awesome. I feel like I've entered the modern era. Your statement was misleading. I have not had one call drop or data issue since I joined Telstra.

Making statements like that is spurious activity. I would suggest that the moderator seek the IP address of the above post and send it to Telstra and Optus. Just for fun.
27 Dec 2010 05:20:08 PM: The only scientific, fair and factual way is to compare similar websites with as much energy put into them as this one and see if Vodafone really is the worst. So computer gurus what we need is a telstrafail and optusfail website and heavily promote it. Adam (bloke that started this site) was also let out of his contract graciously according to an article in the online-Age as soon as he asked so I wonder what his real problem with Vodafone is that he would continue this...
