Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

4293 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is super big disgraceful fail at 27 Dec 2010 05:48:40 PM
People phone me, unable to get through because the 'line is busy' even though I am not using the phone. On several calls the signal has just dropped out resulting in the call being terminated. This is in residential, urban metro area of Perth!! Takes a really long time for voice messages to come through and be recognised. Vodafone have locked me in to a 24 month contract with a blackberry. First plan I have bought, been with vodafone for ages, trusted them. There performance in the last 12 months has been nothing short of a disgrace. Expecting me to pay for a service?? What service?? A lot of the time my phone gets such a weak signal I cant make calls. The internet on my phone too is super slow. Nothing more infuriating when you are on the phone and it disconnects. The whole point of me having a phone is so I can get in contact with people when not at home and people can reach me when i am not at home. I might aswell leave my mobile at home seeing as the whole purpose of me having a phone at times is pretty much defeated. Oh and I forgot to mention. The lag in texting is horrible sometimes. Sure if I was living in the country, had an inferior phone and wasnt paying a big monthly premium for it i would have no issue. But I have a blackberry, pay heaps for the service and live in metro perth where Vodafone claim to have on par coverage. This a complete disgrace. I'm counting down the months vodafone.... And after that I am out. I am investigating terminating early, just doing the sums of what it would cost.
27 Dec 2010 06:07:51 PM: I've had all the same problems, whatever you do do not agree to pay the termination fees, after 2 months of crap service and numerous problems I phoned the TIO and got a call on Friday from Vodafone saying that I will be let out of the contract with no termination fees as long as I return the phone to them
