Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

Came over to vfone from telstra. Was talked into buying a Nokia N97 over an iphone and a more expensive Nokia, that was the first problem. Little did i know at the time the N97 was and still is one of the most repaired, replaced and returned phones. It was a lemon from new. After trying to return it at Epping and South Morang vfone stores (as they said any problem with the phone within the first 3 months they would accept it back and give me a new one), they kept telling me to wait for the software update that would fix everything. This phrase became the norm for the next few months, there was an update for the phone just about every month. They only accepted it back for repair when the phone got hot and actually died, even then they tried to refuse it back because they had no loan phones. The new phone they gave me was just as much a piece of shit as the last, software glitching, freezing, turning off, taking photos on its own, etc. Now thats just the problems with customer service and the phone, now to the network. I work in Fairfield in Melbourne, close suburb to the CBD. Never did I have trouble with service there with telstra, I am lucky to have 2 or 3 bars of reception at the most at my workplace, inside or outside. I constantly have no internet access even when I have full reception on my phone, phone calls drop out and say connection error, sms will not send for no reason, and worst of all being on hold forever to find out what is going on is a joke. So I emailed a complaint, and just got handballed back to the retail stores who plain don't care either. I am so pissed for going to vodafone, I would have been better off using two tin cans and a length of string to communicate with people.
