Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

being charged for using internet on phone when I have NEVER connected to the internet on my phone. times range from mins to 6 hours. charged from $2.49 to over $15.00 (these come off my entitlements) rang vodafone, waited 50 mins on phone B4 they answered. couldnt tell me how this could happen (had same problem with Optus prepaid)no choice but to cut off internet access to my phone, which isnt fair to me, coz they cant do anything about it coz its coming from my phone. now I do not have the right to use it if/when i need it. I asked them plainly.. is someone hacking my phone or are you guys charging me for a service I dont use.. was told that people cant hack into phones and that vodafone never charges for something if you dont use it and the only thing to do is cut of internet access to my phone... I asked if this has ever happened before and then she pretended she couldnt hear me and that something was wrong with the phone. she kept on saying "hello, hello are you there. I had to hang up. she called me back on my cellphone but I forgot to ask her the question again.. any thoughts. thanks
28 Dec 2010 12:39:07 AM: we as vodafone customers had the same experience with them we had phone bill that had stated that we had been accessing the download for ringtones now it was my husbands work phone and he is not really literate to the way that you can buy online downloads and this had cost us over 2 months $60 in total and then there was another time that we had overseas calls logged on his work mobile and we did not have anyone overseas to speak top and that we had not made the calls so we called customer service and as you can imagine they said that they would look into this natter and get back to us in regards to the overseas calls and no we have never heard back from vodafone inregards to these calls and you can imagine that we have paid for that account and have never received the call back or the money for those calls.
