Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

Ive experienced sms messages delayed to whoever I send it to and being a hearing impaired person who cannot understand speech on the phone anymore, this is my lifeline...Ive had to change from 3G to 2G just to ensure texts get through. Ive had this problem since early 2009.
Currently, my phone is in a family members name and got this phone back in March 2010...for the first time, they did not send a paper bill for November, so this family member had to find out why...turns out they started sending it by email to someone else, which I gather may be the previous owner...this family member wanted the months bill waived but they only took $20 off. Thats ok, but for the bill to be sent to someone else? Really this is very incompetent since Ive had this number 10 months now. Are they passing phone numbers that are cancelled too soon? What about the level of privacy? My bill shows my address and phone numbers of people relevant to me and sent to someone else to look at?
But back to the sms problem, has been bit better with switching to 2G but why should I with the so-called coverage theyre supposed to have?
I used Vodafone pre-paid back in the early 2000's and everyone said they were very good and they were...what has happened along the way?
Im sharing this as a person who relies on visual equipment to communicate (non face to face contact) and if there is an emergency, as being hearing impaired and I dont have a landline, if I cant get a message out there, then this is a very severe problem.
I want to see a better level of service right across the board!
