Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

8194 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is There all as bad as each other at 29 Dec 2010 09:37:35 AM
I live in Mascot, NSW (2020)
When i joined Vodafone sister company (Three) in June this year i was told from a three sales assistance (by phone) that three had great coverage in my area. I also doubled checked this up on three own website, which confirmed that there was good coverage in my area.
After than joining three, little did i know that the service of three in my area and most of the suburbs in and around my area of the eastern suburbs had next to no service at all.
I have to walk 50meters up my road just to get some sort of coverage. At my sister house in Botany 2019, there is no coverage at all. I also do notice when driving around the Eastern suburbs area my phone coverage will go from 1 bar to roaming.
I ring up there customer service centre and complain almost ever week and i always get the same excuse that there must be maintenance of the service going on in my area and it should be fixed soon (without giving me date)
They did tell me i could switch to Vodafone if i wanted to get out of my contract with three, but it would be a two year contract from date at switch not when i first joined three.
The funny thing is when im with friends at different places (Hunter valley or the Westerns suburbs or even down the coast) we compare our phone coverage. Most of my mates have full coverage at all theses places (there with the other big mobile company Tel@tr@) and nearly all the time i have no coverage at all. I than have to use there phone to make calls
Im now locked into my contract for another 1 and a half years. If i would have known how bad it was i would have just joined the big mobile company Tel@tr@.
Regards
Craig from Mascot
