Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

9687 Someone from ACT thinks vodafone is if you live in Kambah, don't go with vodafail. at 1 Jan 2011 12:08:31 AM
If you happen to live in Kambah, ACT, 2902, DO NOT EVEN THINK REMOTELY ABOUT STAYING WITH/MOVING TO VODAFAIL.

As my HTC sits there saying "Limited service", I decide to tell everyone to not even think about vodafail.

Sure, the phone is nice, only available on voda/3.. unfortunately, but it's only nice when you have a solid connection to the 3G service, otherwise you'll have next to no data connection and horrible call quality. To top it off, if you live in kambah you'll barely ever have reception... in a suburban area, c'mon vodafone.. please.
1 Jan 2011 09:03:18 AM: Limited service is generally a handset message, a sim swap will usually fix that, of course it doesn't mean it will fix coverage issues, obviously there is a coverage issue, but Vodafone will fix it, they had approvals for their upgrades ages ago just didn't quite get there in time and haven't finished yet
1 Jan 2011 09:06:56 AM: Approvals to install new towers is almost impossible, the public consultation aspect is horribly difficult
1 Jan 2011 02:42:11 PM: I live in Kambah and have full 3G service on Vodafone
1 Jan 2011 02:46:20 PM: I live in Kambah and have full 3G service on Vodafone
1 Jan 2011 06:44:39 PM: ^^ same.
1 Jan 2011 07:16:20 PM: Here too! maybe you should go get a sim swap instead of instantly assuming it might be the problems, millions of Vodafone customers are receiving service, only a small percentage are having these problems
4 Jan 2011 01:59:56 AM: It's not my sim, i'm not an idiot. I just got a new sim. old one had exact same problem. Not my phone, either. It's just because I'm in western kambah.. whenever I leave the little area I'm in, it works just fine. in other words, vodafone don't give a shit because *most* of an area works and they will never fix it. oh well.
