Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

167 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is not getting my business at 17 Dec 2010 01:50:09 PM
I was about to purchase an HTC Desire HD on a 24 month plan with Vodafone, but now that I see so many people are experiencing poor network coverage, I think I'll go Telstra. Might be more expensive, but at least I'll be able to make calls.
164 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is What the? coverage at 17 Dec 2010 01:49:35 PM
I work on the 45th floor of a major building in Martin Place and right now as I write this I have one fffing bar!!!!!! I moved away from Telstra because their costs and customer service were dredful but now I have to deal with this!! Oh and I also don't bother sending sms anynmore, last 2 weeks have seen my txts take over 12 hours to reach their destination.
161 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is appalling at 17 Dec 2010 01:49:08 PM
I run a small /business in Macquarie Street. I moved 5 users to Vodafone using IPhone 4's believing that we could use these instead of office phones. We now pay for 5 $99.00 cap plans and excessive land line charges because of the poor or non existent service in our office. We have one remaining Telstra IPhone 4 and perfect reception.
158 Someone from Somewhere else thinks vodafone is shocking at 17 Dec 2010 01:47:42 PM
Travelling through India where Voda spent billions buying in , and their network out side huge metros and at certain times in the city is crap, on a train for 2 days and spent the better part of it trying to get reception, it is in one of the most densly populated regions in the country the west coast and central india , nudder nothin, it even started to pull up unidentified networks and to work on them , so 2 days on a train with little or no reception , no email and no texts , let alone calls, and I went with them for all the working persons needs , what a let down Voda FAIL.
156 Someone from ACT thinks vodafone is Eppic at 17 Dec 2010 01:47:28 PM
Vodafone is useless. I am disgusted by Lara the stupid robot that takes my calls. the network is utterly shit and im sick and tired of dropped calls.
155 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Sooo annoying! at 17 Dec 2010 01:47:25 PM
I live in Randwick and have absolutely no reception in my unit. I have to stand out on the balcony in a corner to be able to make or receive any calls. I have tried customer support so many times but no one can give any satisfactory answers. This has been gong on for over 12 months. I have an iphone and have tried using a different handset and have exactly the same problem. Can't wait for my contract to end so I can use someone else...
153 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Dud reception at 17 Dec 2010 01:46:44 PM
Plain and simple the reception is terrible, don't bother with them stay away. Hit up Telstra or Optus..Vodafone is a waste of time!!
151 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Coverage at 17 Dec 2010 01:46:40 PM
We moved into the lovely suburb of Berowra Heights in the north of Sydney 2 years ago and one of the key checks I did was that we had strong mobile signal - we had all five bars working. Not 6 months later the service suddenly dropped to one bar if I'm lucky. They said they had software issues. Bull. As far I can see, they simply had an expensive booster tower that they didn't want to upgrade. If anyone thinks Telstra is the worst telco on the planet and holding this country back; Vodafone is not far behind.
148 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is not being transparent with its customers at 17 Dec 2010 01:46:02 PM
I've been with Vodafone for several years and switched over to 3G for iPhone data service at the beginning of this year. I've always had problems with voicemail notifications being late - using visual voicemail only highlights the problem (anyone remember when it was down for a few days unannounced?)
The last couple of months have been pretty terrible - in the Sydney CBD I get 'No Service' regularly. I also am unable to connect calls sometimes despite the phone showing full service (iPhone 4). Switching to flight mode and then on again usually resolves (but why should I need to do this?)
Data coverage is patchy at best. Response is sluggish or requests time out - even for simple services like Twitter.
Seriously, Vodafone needs to fix this.

145 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is about as useful as tits on a bull at 17 Dec 2010 01:45:21 PM
I signed up to a 24 month contract with Vodafone just 6 weeks ago and before signing I specifically asked if there were any issues with their network and they were very quick to assure me that it was performing brilliantly. LIARS!!! I haven't had more than one bar of reception on my phone yet and calls drop out all the bloody time. Sometimes I can't even make a call. I'm pissed off that my new phone doesn't work properly and I'm even more pissed off that you lied to me. If I ran my company that way I'd be out of business in no time. I have joined the ever growing collective of Vodafone anti-brand ambassadors, telling everyone I know how bad you are. Deceive your customers and pay the price!
142 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is EPIC at 17 Dec 2010 01:44:44 PM
I signed to a network that would provide me with 3G (and better) and am stuck struggling to use GPRS.
Signing up to the new contract was the worst decision I've made. (Lucky it's only for 12 months)
It's good that they teamed up with the Austrlian Cricket Team... Actually the Australian Cricket team are performing better.

138 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Not fail at all at 17 Dec 2010 01:44:13 PM
I've been with Vodafone for 11 years and have had no issues at all with them - in fact in certain places their coverage exceeds the other two majors. I wonder how many of the people whining are actually iPhone users compared to real mobile phone users - bet you if we compared we'd see where the problem really is.
135 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is REALLY BAD! at 17 Dec 2010 01:44:02 PM
I am in inner southern suberb in Perth. Terrible network on Vodafone. My wife is on three and that works fine. Can't believe vodafone is this bad! I was with three till last few months and shifted to Vodafone for the handset I liked which was no on three. Now I am so frustrated about the network, the phone keeps going to SOS. NONSENSE.Vodafone get your act right! Free calls for the day doesn't solve the problem.

128 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is The Most Hopeless Network in Australia with the worst customer service and lack of transparency at 17 Dec 2010 01:41:56 PM
Have had ongoing problems, mostly at work location in Darlinghurst and also in the inner west, "no-service", no 3G, slow 3G, 3G data but not able to make voice calls, was standing in a public place on call and call dropped out and so did calls of people standing around me - i asked one what provider and it was vodafone.
Had a no service drop out TODAY 17 Dec 10 in the late morning.
Have contacted VF complaints but no reply after 5 days so placed TIO complaint today.

117 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is hopeless and careless at 17 Dec 2010 01:37:54 PM
My husband uses our Vodaphone. He's a tradesman and has been working in the same exact place for 18 months. No problems with coverage for most of those 18 months. NOW for the last month at least I don't even bother to phone him. It goes straight to message bank. Or it rings and then he says he never heard it. Or he doesn't get my message. I cannot contact him when he's at work anymore. WHY???????
115 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is extreme at 17 Dec 2010 01:37:07 PM

110 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is 110% at 17 Dec 2010 01:32:18 PM
I live in Glebe, Sydney. For an extended period I had no reception at all within a quite well-defined geographical region taking up most of the suburb. I contacted Vodafone repeatedly, -on my mobile phone from an area where I did have reception- to find out what was going on. They refused to help me beyond telling me to do several things to fix "the problem with my handset" which required me calling back on another phone. After I explained the problem, and the fact that this was a -large- problem BECAUSE I HAVE NO OTHER DAMN PHONE. I perservered like an IDIOT for several weeks. Reception returned, for about a week, and then failed again. At which point, I caved, and switched to Virgin. I highly recommend that course of action for anyone else, even if it does mean paying to have your handset unlocked.

108 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Line drop outs, no cellular network, VM, billing issues at 17 Dec 2010 01:31:52 PM
I work for a small business with 26 employees and we signed a contract with Vodafone and the phone has never worked properly at all. We have informed Vodafone and they are still fixing it for nearly 10 months. We have lost business as well. ( As the customer wants to discuss a quote on the final day and they tried us and we did not get the call and we got our VM after a day, when the customer went with another vendor. Hope this gets resolved.
106 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is MAJORLY at 17 Dec 2010 01:31:07 PM
I have been a VODAFONE customer for over 12 years. We (my company) have 12 phones currently on a business plan.
The data service is soooooo slow and yes when you are on a call for a long period of time it drops out even if I am in a good reception area.
ALSO I've had an issue with their MyVodafone website for over 4 years. I have made many attempts to try and fix this problem (even one time I was on the phone with them for over 1 hour) but at the end nothing is solved.
My contract is due on April, 2011.
I WILL NOT RENEW OR SIGN UP ANOTHER NEW CONTRACT WITH THEM EVER AGAIN.

101 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is so so so fail! the worst! at 17 Dec 2010 01:29:12 PM
Like many of you I was a relatively satisfied customer on prepaid. I've been a customer of Vodafone's now for 5 years. In May last year I signed up for a two year contract so I could get an iPhone and was immediately dissatisfied with the network coverage. Isn't 3G supposed to make coverage better?!
Recently the coverage has severely worsened, every call that I make drops out at least once. I can't have professional or other important conversations on my vodafone number because the calls ALWAYS DROP OUT. And I live in Kings Cross in the heart of Sydney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just ridiculous.
Voicemails never appeared on my iPhone on time - regularly appeared several days later. People would get very frustrated with me because I hadn't returned their call when I didn't even realise they'd call. Because Vodafone would also just divert them straight to voicemail, even when I should have had perfect reception in the middle of the city (and it said I had full reception).
Anyway, I've had $10 a month raped out of me since I signed up for insurance. When I needed to claim, I lodged a claim online (in October). They sent me an email with NONE of the details I needed saying someone would contact me in five days. No one ever called. When I finally got around to dropping my phone in to Bondi Junction yesterday the unhelpful salesman said I needed a claim number. When I checked my email at the store, there was no freaking claim number. I showed him this was the only thing they'd ever sent me on the matter. He said I would have to call the claims dept and get it myself before he could help me. I asked, couldn't he just look it up on the system? No, he said, I needed to call them myself from the store phone. Wouldn't take long. I SAT ON HOLD TO VODAFONE FOR TWELVE MINUTES WHILE IN THE VODAFONE SHOP.
Did you know they have a thing called a 'Churn level' or 'Churn number'? I asked another naive looking salesman what it meant while he was logging my phone into their system (mine said 'very low'). He said it's the category they put vodafone customers into based on how likely they are to leave the company. I said to him 'Well, after sitting on hold to vodafone because of your screw up for 10 minutes while in the vodafone shop, maybe you should change mine to extremely high, because come May I'm outta here' and he just laughed.
I'd encourage you all to call vodafone and insist that they change your 'churn number' to extremely high. They don't take people's complaints seriously.
When I had no service all day at the big day out this year (like thousands of other young vodafone customers at homebush) I called and complained a few days later. Vodafone's response? Have 300 free texts. OH THANKS A F**KING LOT, I'M ON A F**KING CAP YOU DOUCHE!

Constant drop outs during calls...never able to load web pages on iphone...pathetic coverage. This has been going on for at least 6 months. I contacted the TIO and Vodafone were forced to let me out of my contract. I hope Vodafone loses a huge amount of customers as they continue to suck people onto their network with cheap plans that don't perform how they are meant to. They deserve to be investigated by the ACCC. They obviously don't mind signing on more customers but are reluctant to spend real money on their network. PATHETIC Vodafone...hope you lose a large part of your customer base. You lost me after being with you for many years. I'm now a very happy Optus customer and guess what??!!?? my phone works now!!

Two days later I get voicemails. Downloads freeze halfway through if they even get that far. Drops out of reception. Call failures. No internet connection. 3G working tirelessly but nothing coming up. I need porn dammit! But more so I need it for business and work opportunities.
I am a 10+ year customer, regularly paid 1.5x plus my bill in extra data costs while on my 3GS and was happy to do it because I didn't wait more than 30 seconds for a page to download. Fix this shit, Vodafone, fix it now.

Can we please bring the service back to Australia and have some real people who are efficient working at Voda.

-Crap reception and service
-My phone that i got 2 months ago already ahs issues with the screena nd Vodafone can't help me due to 'problmes experienced at the momnent'

I am a 3 Mobile Customer and ever since the 3 Hutchinson network merged with Vodafone my service has dropped significantly. Where I used to get 3 - 4 bars 3G signal i'm lucky to get 1 bar now, and this is in inner Sydney!
84 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Beyond a joke Fail at 17 Dec 2010 01:21:56 PM
We live in Brisbane, near the city and we're lucky to get 1 bar of reception. My car broke down one night and I had to walk to a convenience store to use their phone as my Mobile refused to connect my calls. Calls drop out all of the time, missed my dream job as the Boss rang me (my phone didn't even ring) advising me I had gained the job in a Voicemail, which I didn't receive until 3 days letter. They thought I was not interested and thus offered it to somebody else. My husband is self employed as a Driving Instructor and his mobile is his office. IT NEVER WORKS! I dread the day he has an accident and I don't hear about it.
Waiting on hold for 40 mins and finding out "Lara" has put you through to the wrong department and then waiting another 40 minutes while they connect you.
Paying premium dollars for nothing.
I don't get that we have to meet our end of the contract and pay on time yet they can provide absolutely nothing and that's okay.
Not being able to terminate is crazy. We signed another contract so we could upgrade handsets, as they blamed everything poor on the Nokia N97, upgraded thinking everything would be better with the Iphone and it's just as bad.
So over it! We get treated like crap and that's okay.
Don't get me started on the overseas call centre who you can barely understand!!!!
I want out Vodafone!!!

22 Dec 2010 09:31:01 PM: Vodafone obviosuly was created just to make ur life hell. That is exactly what they want to do....
28 Dec 2010 09:46:00 AM: I have been a Vodafone customer on prepaid for over 5 years. A year ago I decided to upgrade and go on an Iphone plan, that's when all the problems started. 2 months into my plan my phone had massive faults and had to be replaced. 6 months after that my replacement Iphone had to be replaced due to a faulty switch. Just before the end of my first year my replacement phone was having massive reception issues (my husband had slightly better reception on his Nokia). I had VERY limited reception in Brisbane city and in most locations on Brisbane North-side. I rang up Vodafone and argued with them over several days and they finally agreed it was their problem (I reply on my phone for work). They agreed to replace my Iphone for a Nokia. Since replacing my phone again (phone 4) in just over a year, I STILL get VERY POOR reception. I'm very unhappy and I want out. I am over poor quality handsets, poor reception and lack of customer service.
83 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Average at 17 Dec 2010 01:21:09 PM
I dont see what the big deal is for the most part. I have a vodafone blackberry in sydney and would never call the service great but its concistantly average. Optus is just as average in my experience. Telstra network rocks but they have the WORST customer service and their plans are a bit behind now aswell. The network will get better, all this whinging will make sure of it.

75 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is extremely fail at 17 Dec 2010 01:17:07 PM
I signed a 2year contract with vodafone about 1month ago- I have come to realise this was the worst decision of my life.
I have been experiencing little to no reception- majority of the time. delay in recieving msgs. unable to send messages- at one stage i was resending messages an average of 10times before they would actually send. No one could get through to my phone. this is shit.
I called up costumer service, was put on hold for an hour before i spoke to a person in India. Who told me it was a handset problem/sim problem and I should return to my vodafone dealer to get new settings and a sim. This is funny because I had just got a brand new samsung galaxy when i signed the contract.
I returned to my vodafone dealer and they told me. They;ve been experiencing the same problems with vodafone themselves- ie cannot sign contracts because the vodafone system is down.!!
Vodafone SUCKS even their franchisee's think so. what a load of bs and waste of money

Vodafone you could have a big legal case to answer. If I get any more phone drop outs etc...during work hours I am going t spend the money to take legal action as your service is my ability to function at work terribly limited. You are going to suffer massive customer losses if you don't sort your network out now!
71 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Pathetic at 17 Dec 2010 01:14:52 PM
My wife and I have been loyal vodafone customers for god knows how long.
mobile broadband... a joke! snail pace slow at best but the bulk of the time doesn't connect or drops out.
As for the iphone... yeah shows reception can't load a page, drops out all the time often for the day... texts may or may not be received.
What shits me the most is the contempt they treat us with...
2 hrs to get someone then they screw you around lie thru their backteeth when they know exactly what the problem is... Been waiting 2 days for disconnections to call back...
Where do i go? Telstra? Optus?
mobile broadband... a joke! snail pace slow at best but the bulk of the time doesn't connect or drops out.
As for the iphone... yeah shows reception can't load a page, drops out all the time often for the day... texts may or may not be received.
What shits me the most is the contempt they treat us with...

67 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Not as fail as optus! at 17 Dec 2010 01:13:41 PM
Like many vodafone users, I suffer from poor service with optus. Poor service with mobile reception, internet usage and customer service. The telcos abuse their position as market share dominators and refuse to rectify any issues until you go through the pain of contacting the TIO. I had an optus customer rep refuse to verify my identity on the basis that it happens to also be a girls name. The issue was only rectified by optus when I contacted the TIO. I never have reception on the train, my phone drops out and forget about using the net. The ACCC needs to watch for anti-trust behaviour with so much of the market share belonging to a few clowns.
64 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is complete at 17 Dec 2010 01:11:21 PM
Calls drop out constantly, voicemail messages not received until 12 hours or more later, sms not going through. I live in inner city Sydney and am tied to vodafone because my company uses it. Have been told by a Vodafone rep that Darling Point is a 'black spot' for reception!!!
60 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Has cost me business at 17 Dec 2010 01:10:27 PM
I work all over sydney but my office is in Ryde, my clients constantly complain that they cant get hold of me, my Iphone keeps telling me "No Service". I have disabled the 3G network and at least it works 50% of the time now!, 10 Years with them but enough is enough.
55 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Absolute rubbish at 17 Dec 2010 01:07:28 PM
Vodafone = crappy network , constantly dripped calls, 2 hr phone waits to complain, constant errors on bills... No way we will renew contracts...

46 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Epic Fail at 17 Dec 2010 12:54:32 PM
Have both mobile and mobile broadband - in short, not impressed. As a self-employed consultant, my mobile and broadband are critical to getting my work done. With hardly any coverage in the CBD, its makes work rather difficult. Worst still personal events were unfolding on Saturday's epic coverage fail that I desperately needed my mobile..... As soon as my contracts are finished, I will be taking my business else where.
43 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Epic Fail at 17 Dec 2010 12:51:21 PM
Reception is dreadful. My phone is constantly either on the Edge network or receiving no coverage at all. We call it 'Nodafone'. When it takes forever to load a page or even make a call, 'Slodafone'. This is my first contract with Vodafone and it will be my last. Roll on August!
41 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is very!! at 17 Dec 2010 12:50:43 PM
I am not with Vodafone, but my mother and daughter were until recently (both have just changed carriers). My daughter lives in Sydney (near CBD), but frequently her calls were interrupted when the signal dropped out, or was so patchy that I could not hear what she was saying. When she visits me (in Broken Hill, NSW), she has to go outside to get reception and even then it is patchy. My mother lives in the same city as me (only a few streets away), but often could not get a signal or could not receive calls. Both have recently changed providers.
38 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Getting worse and worse at 17 Dec 2010 12:47:11 PM
I have been a customer for more than 6 years. Up until a few months ago everything was fine. Now my wife and I have to try 3 or 4 times to get through to each other on the same network. Mobile Internet is nearly impossible. Ever since they merged with 3 they have also switched to their pathetic network. Two contracts up in new year, where I will switch to Telstra. I have an iPad with Telstra and it works perfectly anywhere. Telstra have come to the party on price, and their network simply works. Goodbye Vodafail. (typed on my iPad while my VF iPhone has no service)
36 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is never getting my business again at 17 Dec 2010 12:45:55 PM
I work for a company based in Pyrmont (Sydney CBD). I find it apalling that my phone can literally be next to me on my desk and have no service. I continually experience dropped calls and dont even bother to try calling somebody (my boss) in Glebe as they dont get service either!
I catch a train from Sutherland (30mins) and would be lucky to have internet coverage for 5-10 mins of that journey. You would think that there would be reception at major hubs like Hurstville or Sydenham but Vodafone doesnt seem to be able to manage that either

32 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is astoundingly FAILTASTIC at 17 Dec 2010 12:43:42 PM
I live in the middle of Sydney and constantly have connectivity and 3G dropouts. It seems like every time I go use my iPhone I get messages saying that there is not internet connectivity or cell reception. Also my voicemail service has dropped of the face of the earth. How can a major Australian phone network provider have such massive issues even in the most populated area in the country.
29 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Useless at 17 Dec 2010 12:40:10 PM
I have been a customer for 15 years and recently this company sucks...no coverage at times in CBD and call failing the whole time..just useless..will not renew contract
23 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is hopeless at 16 Dec 2010 02:16:21 PM
1.5 weeks before I had to go overseas I thought I should use their convenient online iPhone unlocking service to unlock my phone for a $20 charge. Unfortunately, my IMEI number is not in their database even though I signed up at a Vodafone retail shop. I've emailed, I've called, I've left message for their 'unlocking team', 2 months has passed I am now back in Sydney, still no contact about how do I get my phone unlocked. Did I mention my boyfriend whos with T*lstra unlocked his iPhone 3 weeks into contract, took him 15 mins to have his phone unlocked, and it was free.
Oh I would also like to complain the bad reception too, but I can't be bothered just repeating what everyone else has said already.

21 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Very at 16 Dec 2010 12:57:19 PM
No 3G coverage and one bar of 2G in an area of QLD that Vodafail's own Coverage checkers says full Mobile Broadband Service. Rang to complain, spoke to the brainless tech who can only spout the usual list of questions/suggestions. Eventually the case is escalated where the response won't be for 5-7 days!!
20 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is is a bunch of fuckwits at 16 Dec 2010 10:15:32 AM
I've been with vodafone for 4 years... their service has always been good, but the last few months have been absolutely shocking. I live in the heart of sydney and half the time walking down george street I have 'NO SERVICE'. I am constantly receiving messages from friends upto 12 hours late, or even a day after they'd actually sent them. My 3G internet says have full service but pages just don't load and I get the 'no cellular network' message several times a day.
Get it sorted!!!!

17 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Hit & Miss at 16 Dec 2010 06:13:22 AM
I run a small business, been with vodafail for 14mths, can't wait for the two years to be up to go else where maybe telstra. Have to lock my mobile into 2g as 3g coverage is a hit & miss on the gold coast. when my mobile goes from 2g to 3g no sooner it it switches back to 2g but with a lag to reconnect results in been offline for minutes, miss calls sms very common. I bet vodafail will tell me its my mobile, but then alot of other people on the coast have had the same issues. Go choke vodafail.
16 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Very Poor at 16 Dec 2010 05:53:02 AM
6 months with VF and many delays with messages being relayed sometimes 2 days later or not at all. Poor reception and constant dropouts. Dongle for laptop supplied as part of the deal is useless as can't get any reseption even in Perth metro area. Give me my money back you thieving %$#@*&
12 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Pathetically Fail at 15 Dec 2010 08:08:46 PM
Coverage is non existent, You pay for 3G and end up with 2G which on a smartphone is nothing short of an insult. No internet converage. Gets page cannot be displayed for the past two days. Call centre staff attempt to talk over the top of you. Trying to stuff you about as they say they are trying to help. Help yea right. They know its their service not the sim card. Total denial there is an issue. I have experienced call drop outs, not being able to make a call, the promise of full 3G signal and having no service at all. Vodafone is more hassle than they are worth and more stress than anyone should endure.
8 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is BEYOND ABYSMAL!!! at 14 Dec 2010 07:18:03 PM
I have to re-dial every time I call my parents in Sydney, I mean the calls keeps dropping all the time. I can't browse or use the net, my phone has hardly a bar of reception! And I am paying for 2GB of data that is hardly used. Try to speak to someone and expect to be on a waiting call for over one hour, disgraceful! - I recently paid my last bill - $390 including insurance for stolen mobile, which I don't even want to remember what a nightmare this was just trying to get this matter resolved. After paying this bill I noticed VF deducted the same amount by direct debit! - I am now short $390. I mean, I don't get a service but they don't even blink to charge you as soon as they print the bill!!! SHOCKING. I can't be bothered to contact customer service and spend half of my day waiting for someone, AND let me tell you going to a Vodafone store is not any better, AT ALL!!!
4 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is LOTS at 13 Dec 2010 07:57:38 PM
i didn't think and switched from optus to vodafone, ever since i have had slow mobile browsing call drop outs and no signal at all in an area promised to have full 3g signal, i never thought mobile internet could get slower than optus but how wrong was i, and instead of displaying a full high quality image when using vodafones network it displays a low quality pixelated image.
1 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Worst service ever at 12 Dec 2010 07:01:55 PM
I've experience dropped calls, late voicemail messages, poor battery life and bad 3G coverage. Complaining to the call centre does nothing and they refuse to replace my phone or let me out of the contract I just signed. They deny there is any issue with their network or service and redirect you to departments that are closed after waiting on hold for hours.
