I can't receieve any International text messages and when I send from here vodafone will not deliver it, and they charge me.I made a complain and I was told by one of their customer service team in India that vodafone do not send text messages to some certain countries.I complained that no one told me this when I was getting into the contract but his reply was he cannot help me on that as he was not there when I sign the contract

Signed up for a new blackberry, told was get to get three (3) months free and also told would cancel data package.
Did not happen. Spent 1.5 hours in store and told was now fixed. Wrong. Rang help line 1.0 hour on phone told to go back to store where phone bought. Wanted me to supply copy of contract, they did not seem to able to provide. I considerd this a bit odd. Rang another number this time (billing) Dept) inplied would make formal complaint. Matter now seems resolved. Heaps of promises, no feedback. I will be chnaging provider at end of this contract.

I got a wireless USB for my laptop but cant get it to work it will work on the home come but not very well, have made numerous calls to vodafone with no sucsess,all of them over seas and poor english, Im in a 2 year contract that I have tried to get out off, very dissapointed with the service.

Mt Pleasant, 6153. Have been on a 2 year contract with a Nokia 6330, and actually, that was fine. Recently got a $450+ bill, so moved to a more expensive plan and got a new iPhone 3GS into the bargain. Since then, I've had constant dropped calls and people complaining that I'm breaking up or that they can't hear me. Incredibly frustrating when you're looking for a job and trying to talk to recruiting companies and potential employers. Thought it might have been a fault with my iPhone, but then I found this site.

I read in the news that Vodafail might be considering a class action against Vodafone. Please, oh please!

My husband and I have been long suffering Vodafone customers for over a year. We are counting down the months to our freedom! I have asked them to release us from the contract, but they refuse, showing me their wonderfully fake reception/coverage map. I have the same problems like all of you, dropped calls, messages being delayed, MMS going nowhere, NIL reception in the house. They are the worst company. The govt should have the power to fine them for breach of contract with customers.

I bought a vodafone internet stick for $89.95. If it stays connected for more than 10 minutes at a time I'm lucky. It constantly goes in and out of service. Most of the time it says that it is searching for a network. I live near a phone tower so it's not like it's hard to find service around here. I'm sick and tired of sitting here waiting for it to work. It is the slowest most crappy thing I have ever purchased. Never again would I buy anything from VODAFAIL!!!

I don't know about PAIN, but I recently took out a 24 month Mobile 'phone contract to provide me with two mobile phones with the special request to provide me with "GLOBAL ROAMING" on both 'phones. At first they wanted to charge me $300.00 for access to their Global Network Explaining that our previous provider didn't charge anything for this service, to which I vehemently re-arted. Finally, after getting them to listen to some logic they decided to withdraw the proposed intended charges.When in Europe recently, where we traveled through some twelve countries the Global system worked reasonably well in Singapore & London but when we got to the Europe part of our travels the System Dropped out completely and we lost any communication whatsoever. The reason we requested Global Roaming was because we needed consistent reliable access to Vodophone's "So Called Network". We wrote to our provider as soon as we arrived back in Australia to advise them of our Disappointment with their Global service. The only response we got was......."that their must have been a Network breakdown and that their was nothing that could be done to fix the problem at that time!" Not Good enough! We thought that they might in some way compensate us due to this debarcle as a means of Apologizing or saying Sorry!
It would appear that for Corporations to say sorry these days admits guilt!

Hey, Glad I saw this site as I was considering Vodafone's new infinity plan but maybe I'll wait now.

Just FYI, Telstra is not much better. Have been with them for some time just because they had a plan I was happy with, but their coverage is very patchy, even in the city (Perth) and worse in the country (Busselton). I continue to receive messages a day or so after (the record is 3 days after the message was sent). Incidentally this happens on all 3 mobile phones we have in the family (all different makes).

Bashing Vodafone is perfect for the likes of Telstra who can sit back and pick up customers and then continue to give shoddy service as they have been for some time.

Firstly when I was going over my cap they failed to contact me and let me know. So they ended up barring my phone. When they sent me an sms telling me to contact this number from my mobile I couldn't as they had barred my phone. When I call up to complain I get someone from "over seas" who can not understand a complete word I was saying, which pissed me off even more. When my bill had been sorted out I waited on hold to Vodafone for over an hour and got a very rude guy who also I could not understand nor could he speak english very well. He was no help at all and was quite rude. After talking to him for half an hour he told me he would transfer my call over to the billing department. He did so and he put me onto the wrong line. A waste of time on my part.
After sorting it all out in the morning my battery now fails. Doesn't stay charged for very long at all, and I find it hard to get reception. It goes completely out of service in areas it shouldn't be.
Not very happy at all, I will be looking into how much it cost's me to get out of my plan and switching to another phone company.

Generally 1 bar of reception everywhere I go in Perth. I receive voicemails 3 days late; and have next to no Internet ability! Once again, no apology or explanation, just "user issues"! BIG time fail!!

My sister and I have our business with Vodapone. We are amazed at the excuses given by this company for non performance and the lies that they give over the phone regarding their "poor telecommunication service" as well as their "poor customer service". We even tried calling each other standing next to each other "call failed", or our classic "fail" is when dealing with our clients the call drops out anywhere between 3-12 mins.
The best excuse that the Vodapone customer service team have given is you are in the wrong area to make the call or you are standing too close to the person to make the call. For me am moving to another provider as I cannot bear anymore lies from this service.

Ive been using Vodafone for years. And 2 weeks ago I had one day I couldnt recieve texts no big deal. I for one will be staying with Voda phone. Telestra is to expensive...Optus is useless why would you change. Obviously Voda is trying to fix things. And for the people its really effected thats not good. Its just like the NAB bank who stuffed people around. Mistakes happen!

I send a photo and it doesn't arrive for hours or even days.. same thing when people send pics to me. They send to their friends on other networks who receive them straight away.. but the ones they send to me will arive a day or two later.

I was on a pay as you go plan with vodafone. Over a 3 day period I was charged for data usage on my phone which I was not aware of. For some reason my phone had downloaded 54 megabytes of data over this 3 day period. To my surprise vodafone had charged me for this data $1,003.00 which I was shocked to find out. I have tried calling there customer service and got the same service, long waiting times. When I finally got through to someone I explained the complaint and why they do not notify there customers of unusual activity which on an account which was th case in my instance as I never use my phone for internet access. I also asked them how they charge people for data access, what the exact rate they use as I think $1,000.00 for 54 megabytes does not look correct. The person I spoke had no clue and said they would call me back. This was over 2 weeks ago and no one has called me from vodafone to explain this. I now have a bill they sent which they expect me to pay and still have had no respone from vodafone to my complaint. I have now cancelled my account with for a number of reasons but will be taking this further.

Both Vodafone users in this house. Extremely disappointed in the lack of coverage in our street. Vodafone don't care. Have rang them, emailed them, visited vodafone kiosk.... nothing they say to do helps.. Perhaps the Iphone they say? But if we send it back and it turns out to be nothing wrong with the phone....WE HAVE TO PAY for the "consult service" plus postage both ways!??

I was signed up with 3 (who used telstra in Bunbury) for the lst 3 years and had no problems at all. Since vodaphone has taken over 3, i generally have to walk outside to be able to hear the person on the other end. At the moment we are in Tom Price, WA to visit my girlfriends family and i get no service here at all.

I'm in Perth metro area and my phone constantly drops out. It is easier to use the house phone, which actually costs me more as a lot of the numbers I call are STD or mobiles. Then there is the problem receiving text messages. For example all my birthday text message I received all at once 6pm the next day and this morning (29/12/10) at 4pm I received a message that was sent on boxing. I also lost 3 days of messages. I have been into Vodafone about these problems and I'm told it's not them it must be my sim card which has been replaced and nothing has changed.

I am with 3 - no problems for years but then 3 and Vodafone merge and now we get constant call dropouts, no reception etc and nothing can be done...

My contract expires in a few months and I will be leaving, all the promises in the world and the only thing that will make them get it is to change to someone else

Halls Head, Mandurah, WA!!! (One of the highest points in the area) I EXPECT good reception... Only one spot on our 1/4 acre block to get up to 4 bars ... downstairs in the bathtub (tiled roof not tin)! Always a window on the phone saying "Network Lost". This is absolutely disgusting service and NOT WHAT I'M PAYING FOR!!! FIX IT VODAFONE or release me from this contract!

i have the bit rates visible whilst surfing the net and the drop outs are regular almost as if deliberate and sometimes for up to five minutes or no connection at all !!! But the software is telling me i am connected "very good"
speeds are rarely in to the arena of double digit
the only good thing is portability when moving house
but that is a lousy reason to be happy
customer service is nil because it costs too much to be on hold so long!!!

I have spent over 10hrs of my own time trying relentlisly to contact vodafone customer care, AND even gone into a store to get some kind of response. They were also unable to contact vodafone customer care. My issue is still not resolved, that being a billing issue which i am unable to access my account information on there web site, however being asked for money.

Have been with Vodafone for nearly 2 years on this contract. They never care about issues that you have as long as you are in a contract, when contract is coming to an end they do are surprisingly helpful. I conatcted Vodafone to find out when my contract expired recently, a fairly simple question. The Vodafone employee asked me why i wanted to know this information for??? After a long and exhausting conversation i eventually got an answer... Vodafail are ajoke, will never go with them again...

My contract runs out in August and I have had nothing but problems with Vodaphone, even to the point where I have had to carry another service providers phone just in case I have no coverage. I have had people try to call me and it says my phone is switched off, could be in the middle of a call and it drops out....I have now had to close my business as a driving instructor due to lack of work which I feel is caused by Vodaphone. My business runs by text message and mobile calls. If people can't get through they go elsewhere :(:(:(

Haven't been able to hear and properly recieve phonecalls, and inevitably drops out after a couple of minutes if a call miraculously gets through. Takes 20 odd shots to log into facebook, packet data not being available or phone generally shitting itself. Girlfriend holidaying in India still hasn't recieved my txts (sent from my end 12 hrs ago)...and thats just the phone dramas. I used the vf Internet usb dongle for a couple of years in Cloverdale getting no more than 2 bars 3g reception, usually gprs and getting disconnected all the time. Bills seem extraordinary each month too. I send many texts and hit up facebook most days, assuming I am not alone and each mnthly bill is always upwards of 180 dollars...cap shmap, I want off the plan asap. Oh, I also recieved a bill from vf for upwards of 7000 dollars in 2009. I put my plan sim into the usb dongle experimentally and incurred the massive bill after 2 weeks. The fellow on the phone calmly and in a hard to understand language, told me 5500 had to be paid within 2 weeks..!!...Long story short, I called bogus on vf via the telecommunications ombudsman and their resolution centre and got the bill cut down to a more palatable 500 on the grounds of miscommunication on their behalf. Overall vf experience over 2 years = F****D!

brought prepaid broadband kit and it did load up and each time we tried to connect it wouldn't.
so we took it back to the store and was told cause we open the package we wouldn't get a refund,so i lied about it.
we got a 3g prepaid broadband kit and works every time.

Vodafone has been slowly turning to poo the few years including how they have basically no customer service whatsoever! Even if you go into the store you still get put on hold!

Where do I start? I always blamed my reception in my house on the roof, as many others have already said, wandering outside to make a call/get 3g coverage was my only option. Then my friend walks in with a different network/same phone combination, and it's like trying to tell him the tooth fairy is my wife.

Dec 11, walked into VF store as I had "NO COVERAGE", three steps away from the counter I was told to "read the sign", an a4 piece of paper notifying meof what I already knew...the network was down.

Since that day not even walking outside solves my problems, drop-outs, no service, sluggish phone.

I use Vodafone 3G mobile internet and had problems, which I tried to report and complain about to the customer service. Since I do not use a Vodafone mobile phone number, I was charged for the call. I was on the hold for hours to be connected to a customer service and at the end I ran out of my phone credit. I wrote email to Vodafone for compensation but they only say superficial sorry.

Needless to say, I continue to experience problems with their internet connection. The number of times I could not connect to the internet is just countless.

okay, i was in sydney on holiday and i had bad reception. on top of that, my phone barely works after the upgrade to android 2.2

I live in Vic Park,an inner city suburb of Perth and often have low signal strength,due,I suspect, to Vodafone overselling phones and failing to upgrade its network.About a year ago I rang the Telephone Industry Ombudsman wanting to know if they monitored the Vodafone network utilisation(greater than 100% utilisation is bad) and they said NO.

I was in Power Industry and low voltage complaints were monitored by a Regulator,who demanded fixes,the same is needed for telco's.TIO gave me reference number of my complaint and told me to talk to Vodafone.When I did and quoted TIO number they told me that yes,the local network was "voverloaded" and an upgrade was in progress,but could not give delivery date.

My contract expires in July 2011,then I go to Telstra or Optus(have friends on both and they are happy,better coverage).

I live in Margaret River 3 hours south of Perth. Vodafail is terrible, reception can drop out for days, even a week at a time, leaving everyone in the town without service. I have missed an improtant call for a job interview beacuse of it before. When ringing the helpdesk, after waiting for an hour on hold i get told that they are working on the problem but can give no timeframe of when it will be fixed. From Angus

vodafone charges me atleast 4 times for every message that i send... after a lot of hassle with their FAILBURGER website I managed to get ONE lot of call dates but every time I try to get anymore it simply download the same time frame again, no matter what time frame I put in (sticking to the date guidleines) it still will not show me anything other than one single section. I'm being completely ripped off not to mention have no access to my OWN call history not to mention the entire vodafone network completely fails all the time and leaves me with noooo service.. then they send a msg saying sorry!? ummmm so they can screw up my entire day because of their service fail and then send a msg saying sorry and we're all peaches... not cool.

(Mobile)Poor network coverage. Bad reception and did not notify us when there will be an network shutdown for upgrade. (MOBILE BROADBAND) Get a ridiculous monthly bills. Was on cap mobile internet plan $49. I watch my data download. Even exceed the 6GB max allowance it could'nt have been $1100 for expense. I got charged 3 times that amount the last 2 years.$700 twice last year. No way i could use $1000+ a month for data. Have to call up all the times to clear it out. How stupid can vodafone's PC gets? Fix it fix it and stop telling me it will not happen. It did again! fix it!

Have been a Vodafone customer for over 7 years and no problems at all. Found the customer service to be much better than other telco's. Keep up the good work Vodafone!!

Late voice mail messages, poor reception..on the whole a total mess

vodafone cannot seem to supply me with an adequate 3G (or even GSM for that matter) connection at my home and surrounding areas of ellenbrook (postcode: 6069) in perth. ellenbrook is only 21km north of preth CBD and with a reported current population of 25,000 including the 3 smaller surrounding suburbs. and with a current estimated population for 2016 of 37,150. (not small)

i find myself having to walk around the house waving my phone in there air just to try and get any kind of signal... making phone calls is almost impossible when you can actually get some reception due to the fact it will continuously drop out.. all other major network providers who my freinds are intelligently with dont have a problem and will often hold a minimum of 3 to 4 bars of 3G connection at all times in the same home. i have expereinced problems all throughout the suburb in other mates homes too. its appaling that such a major suburb has such terrible vodafone service/reception. the worst part is i only signed to the contract about a month before moving out here... without any knowledge of vodafone being useless. cheers for letting me vent

I have been a loyal vodafone prepaid customer for about 10 years and honestly i dont know why im still with them, i have noticed more recently vodafone is consistantly going down hill. I recharge with $49.00 each fortnight so its pretty obvious they profit from my dislike of bills. Their customer service is an absolute joke, only last week i had to call them waiting for 115minutes to speak to someone be told by the representative i would be paying for the call. Prior to calling i waited in a vodafone shop for 30mins to be told sorry we cant access your details in store you have to call. F**kin annoying!! Love how they had the nerve to send a text apologising for network problems the other Saturday...5 days later with no mention of the free call compensation. The internet data service is unreliable, calls always drop out and the 'vodafone to vodafone' they promote is utter bullshit. Vodafone pick up your act & start showing some loyality back to your customers!!!!

Just got a brand spanking new iPhone 4 on Christmas Eve with all the bells and whistles and a substantial mobile internet data plan- one that I can't use and that they are happily charging me for! Now I am not an idiot, I reset the phone, re-inserted the sim, installed the updates blah blah blah- the phone is fine.
I decided to bypass the multiple hour wait in the call centre and go straight to a store, after them fumbling around and discovering their store sim worked in my phone, I was then told that due to the overwhelming amount of new customers in the Christmas period it would take around a week to get some internet on this thing! Yet I am paying for a service that apparently provides internet!? It just doesn't make sense and I can't be running around trying to find wi-fi all the time, an iPhone without internet is just redundant.

I never really noticed reception I thought it was the room I'm in but after reading every ones problems I have realised it's the company, I'm always recieving texts late or people are getting them days later from me, my phone won't ring but I'll have missed call notifications randomly pop up out Ov no where plus Ive had my phone about4 months now got it online Bcoz stores didn't stock iPhones for a while took almost a month to arrive no sim card whith delivery plus my first bill weeks after receiving the phone was $500 Bcoz I supposedly sent over 2000 text within 3 weeks I'm 17 with a part time job, just finished school and the only person I really text is my boyfriend to say im on my way to his house etc or my mum so this is getting beyond ridiculous the customer care people some are nice enough but they are no help they con u into paying more to add extras on your cap so you won't go over .. That's if you can actually get through to some one

useless network, constant drop outs [every phone call] i keep calling people back every 2 minutes to finish the call, it's costing my business! the other problem is that people can't get through to me, they say my phone has been off for days, and i didn't find out through vodafone but through my emails. So my conclusion is that: keeping the phone on or off does not make any difference to me!! and it does not make any difference to vodafone either because they will send me the bill at the end of the month!!

Well after being a faithful vodafone customer, for 5 years, I came home to find vodafones hands covered in the spilt blood of my children. There young innocent bodies had been butchered by the telecommunications organization and now I'm left with a dagger through my soul. They also took 4 days to activate my internet.

Has it occurred to anyone that this VodaFail Fail could end up costing lives?? If a child/sick person needed help, and had no reception...I shudder to think what the outcome would be!!

I live close to Perth city, only about 10 minutes away, and I cannot get stable reception.

I say stable for a reason. If my phone was just dropping out every now and again in country areas or something it wouldn't be as much of a problem. But it everywhere. One minute my reception is fine, then, without warning it'll just drop out and cut me off.

The worst point seems to be in my house. All of my friends have perfect reception at my place, its just me! And surprise surprise, I'm the only one with Vodafone.

I tried calling Vodafone a couple of times, but after the first 20 or so minutes of bad crackly music and having to dart around the house so my phone didn't drop out I gave up.

every five minutes when im on the net it fails,some times its running realy good then for no reason it just drops out and it either says there is no coverage or no device detected ....well untill i unplug it and put it back in again and reload the soft ware then it works again untill it drops out again they told me that because i have a steel roof it must be afecting the signal.........this trouble started before when i was with ( three) so i dropped out of three at my own exspence and came over to vodafone only to here THREE AND VODAFONE JIONED FORCES.... Vodafone customer for 5 years but soon to move to iinet - it seems no matter whether you are in the centre of Perth, Adelaide Sydney or Melbourne, covefage will be weak or drop out completely...it just gets worse and worse.

i spent boxing day with my dad and ALL day my phone kept flicking between no service and searching. every now and then i had prob about 5 mins of service before having no service again. this has been going on for ages and i cant even be bothered recharging my phone because whats the point? so over it!

i was 3 customer six month ago but after finishing my contract with three i chose vodafone. But i didn't know it was wrong step.Calls are dropping while i talking and have no network in my room.I had four year with three and i had no problem with them.Vodafone is really vodafail.Now i locked up them and they don't care about this anymore.

I've been with Vodafone for years in the silly hope that helping them will increase competition. Their reception has always been terrible, regardless of where I go in Australia. Drop outs are a regular occurance, and I rarely have full reception. After all these years I would have thought they would have used my money to build more transmission towers. How silly have I been! The ACCC should be putting enormous pressure on them to build more and better transmission towers.

sooo annoyed because I use my mobile as the only form of contact to ring hubby who works in the mines, but to do so I have to go to the front of the house on the street, jump up and down waving the phone like somekind of idiot to finally get reception and that doesnt always work either. To add to that ther is no reception at all at the place I work which is difficult because i need to be contactable at all times due to a sick child. Not good enough vodafone and your petty "gift" for inconvienience is $30 off my next bill! Argggghhhh pathetic!

I can receive texts from Sweden and Botswana but i can not reply to them.

Vodajunk has a failure Of coverage, and 3g is just a Typing this on a 'slimmed down' vodafone version of a HTC magicis almost impossible as network coverage comes and goes. By slimmmed down I mean vodafone released their version with less ram than the official model Manny it too slow to type a sentence without delays on. Between lancelin and geraldton there is no coverage whatsoever. Which is sad because I go camping in jurien bay on e a year. Also I often find myself roaming on other networks which are otherwise blocked such as lotus and telstra. Unfortunately I am stuck on a conrtact for another 1.5 years. :'(

I have a prepaid wireless broadband dongle, it usually shows very good or excellent signal(I could almost hit the tower with it if I threw it hard enough), but net speed of my 7mbps connection is usually less than 200kbps, often below 20 and sometimes around 2kbps. So much for emails with attachments, most websites are unusable(timed out) and video is out. To make it worse, when I run out of credit I can't pay through it, I have to use another computer with an Optus dongle to pay Vodafone. The icing on the cake is that I pay $100 credit, and get between 500mb and 7gb of data(it seems to depend on the way I hold my tongue or something). I emailed them with my complaint and got a reply back telling me that their network is really great and marked my issue as solved. Guess what vodafone, this customer is going elsewhere, you FAILED!

I've been with vodafone for many years, and have been let down alot over the past year or so with the reception, rising call charges and delays in receiving messages if I receive them at all, and yet call charges still increase! Very disappointed. Will be changing to a different network once I'm out of this contract!

i have always been happy with Vodafone until mid this year. i had just renewed my mobile broadband and to my disappointment, it was terribly slow! I have now subscribed to an adsl but due to my contract - i have to still keep paying for my mobile broadband with vodafone. That's extra cost for me :-(

I have also just renewed my phone contract to get the best deal for an iphone. Calls have been dropping out, sometimes, no service. SMS came thru late many times and internet took forever to load.

What is wrong with Vodafone...? They used to be really good when i first signed up..

I signed up for a mobile broardband with voda and, have had nothing but dramas with this so called service since. I signed up in july/aug 2010. I have had nothing but data issues drop outs and quite often cant even get any reception.
I also asked them to send me a paper bill 6 times and i never got one untill six months latter, being on a dissabillity pension you can emagine my shock when I finnally got my bill after 5 months of constant calls to those pricks half of which cant even speak english. quite often they would hang up on me so I would ring back only for them to hang up on me again.
I want to know what they intend to do about their fuckups, as far as I am concerened this company that boasts about quality service etc should be shut down, they are a rip off and are only interested in filling there pockets and use bully tactics when the are the ones that aren't doing their jobs right. It is time for all of us to stand up to the dogs and refuse to pay the bills, if we all did this they might get off their fat asses and fix the problems.
Do they have the right to charge us for data downloads that never finnish due to a drop out, the pricks have done this to me and would not be surprised if it has happened to you.
I refuse to pay the bill due to unsatisfactory service, no doubt the will take me to court for the money, and as far as i am concerened bring it on tampon.

always crap service, calls sometimes dont even dial have to turn phone off and on to get them to work, dropping out, i got a iphone 4!!!! think i had more luck with optus, come on vodaphone, u talk the talk, dont u think its time u walk the walk!!!

i am a long term customer with vodafone. i recently went into one of the perth cbd mall customer service centres to enquire about my sony ericcson that has been faulty since i received it free from vodafone only to be told by a surly employee that they are not a phone technician and if i am not happy with my phone to give it to them for free. i have never had this service before and was quite appalled. he then turned and walked away. i also thought my phone was disconnected on the 11th dec when there was no service available for the whole day. i could not even use my internet as that is also vodafone.

Seeing how Three uses vodafones equipment and the recent merger, i would think Three would also be included under vodafail. Put it simply the suburb i live in the connection is never stable, and the constant fluxuations will cause calls to drop when using dual band. Because of that, the past 2-3 years, i've had to leave it on GSM, which even then will still have drop outs and cut out my voice during calls.

My Girlfriend who lives a few kms away uses the prepaid broadband internet and is closer to a network tower. However no matter what, there will be days where she cant get online at all as the modem wont connect, other times it will be as slow as hell and other days it runs fine. This is all within what vodafone/three have regarded as pretty strong signal zones

I have been provided with a Vodafone mobile for work - however, I get zero reception at my home.
Therefore if I am 'on-call' every call just goes straight to meesagebank.
People email me asking why I never answer my phone... 1 word... Vodafone!

My private phone is with 3 (three) and I've had no issues at my house with them until just this last week - it seems that suddenly my reception has gone to the same as Vodafone - even though it worked fine up until then. Weird. I suspect the VHA deal has now cut over 3 onto their crummy network.... gr8

MY PHONE KEEPS DROPPING OUT TO THE POINT WHERE I HAVE STOPPED MAKING CALLS CAUSE IT IS SO FRUSTRATING TO CONTINUALLY CALL BACK AND I RECENTLY SIGNED UP FOR A TWO YEAR CONTRACT AT 100 DOLLARS A MONTH AND I CAN'T USE THE PHONE. SERIOUSLY PISSED.

have been wit vodafone bout 12 months now , was recently in nsw jarvis bay an had broken recection went along the coast to sydney poor or no reception in sydney some areas none at all. now in perth an in wanneroo no reception an in rockingham weak reception . very dissapointed with the company , an if u try to contact then ur put on an endless loop i think they hope ull go away im over vodafone full stop

The company I work at uses Vodaphone for their mobile phones and wireless dongles and the whole company concurs that the service on both is crap - we regularly joke about it when we aren't too angry to talk. Any attempts to contact their support is fruitless and a complete joke - they will put you on hold forever, transfer you into a black void, tell you you rang the wrong number, or just cut you off, forcing you to call back and go through the process again - absolutely absurd. The phone service is barely audible a lot of the time, and the wireless dongles take a good 5 minutes just to find the device and create a connection on Windows 7, often dropping out a few minutes later. Oh, and the wireless dongle killed my Mac after installing Vodafail's software on it - system failed to boot afterwards.

I joined up with vodaphone network due to sick of others phone company services. But to my regrets vodaphone is no better than them as my phone services keep dropping out and calls cut off on it own.
something needs to be done by vodaphone if the company wants business from consumers.

Wish this site and the story on the news today had of happenned a few months back. Could have saved me a lot of time and frustration

Hi guys i am paying AU$89 per month and still can't receiver any call. if i have to call someone i have to try atleast 50 times to get through. I am lossing lots of my business due to vodafone. and when I go to vodafone store or call them they usaually say its the tower faikure or so I can't understand what can I do................

Been having problems left, right ad center

1: Having to go outside to get reception even though I live 5km away from the center of Perth City.

2: Receiving text messages HOURS after friends have sent them or not at all.

3: Only sometimes being able to call my friend from my land line home phone, usually just goes to voice mail even though their phone is on with full reception.

4: I've had to replace my sim card 6+ times in the past 2 years as they keep crapping up on me. It randomly activates call/text incoming and outgoing baring which can not be undone, so I need to replace the sim card.

Vodafail is too right.

I've experienced Vodafone when then first started up in Australia 16 yrs ago. They sucked in coverage and 16yrs later it still sucked! Thankfully I signed up for a 12month contract and 1 month into it and I'm regretting it already. Call drop outs when I'm at home and I need to go outside to talk properly on the phone.
I can't even get online either when indoors!
Hope they get their mess sorted out as it is very embarrassing for such a big telco still to have such problems of a new one.

I rely on my phone for business. Was with 3 and out of contract for 2 years, but never completely happy with their service in the country areas. Vodafone contacted me less than 2 months ago. Advised of merger with 3 and how they were able to provide better coverage. What crap! Now I struggle to get a signal in my own home. Now get call dropouts I never before encountered. After hours on phone to call centre was advised the towers would be upgraded as part of the National Upgrade, but no idea when. Vodafone is spending money like mad on advertising and sponsoring sporting events, sucking more people in - but doing nothing about fixing its service - only providing weak excuses. Went and signed back up with Telstra today!

I bought iphone with a 24 months contract, besides the drop out my callers could not hear me unless i used the earphones.went to Vodafone where i got the iphone and related my problem.since the insurance was out, i was told that if i paid $45 they would put it for service and they (vodafone) advice me on the cost of repair,waited 3 week, decided to checkon the iphone it was ready for collection,when i did get my iphone it was not repaired and there was no comments on it, so where did my money go to and for what ,for keeping my iphone in a safe .I did not have phone for three weeks, as i dont own a extra mobil phone
I still had to pay my monthly dues.

omg lately its been awful, talking to my daughter the line just keeps on cutting out, i can hear her but she cannot hear me from my side of the line.
also if i receive a call it picks up but either line is able to hear each other so then either of us needs to hang up and call again, it does this twice before it works....

i used to have vodafone wireless broadband... i thought i had a faulty unit because it never worked... after i called them and was put on hold for about 45 minutes... i finally got through!! i was handballed to another person whose english was terrible... and when i told them i couldn't understand them they hung up on me!! i finally managed to get throught to them again and told them i wanted out of my contract... i had to pay to do so and in the end i didn't care... i just wanted out!!
i also have an iphone with vodafone... i have shared in most of the same problems as other people on this site... calls drop out, no service, messages that have been sent but not recieved, trying to contact the fault line and having to talk to that useless bloody answering machine 'lara', getting hand balled to some indian call centre where the people are barely understandable!!
but when i rang the new contracts number... i was put straight through!! who would have guessed!! the MOST SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!! shame on you vodafone... you deserve to lose business!!

I am with 3 now merged with Vodafone.
Hugely unimpressed with the fact we used to roamunder Telstra and since being bought out by Vodafone, me and my partner may aswell have no reception!
First of all, we weren't even informed there would be a merger, because if we were I sure wouldn't have had renewed my contract only weeks before it took place!
When i went into a store to ask about another new phone to replace the new one i had just got, i was met with "Oh it isprobably because of the merge to Vodafone....Oh, i wasn't meant to tell you that". Nice, the long trem customers weren't even kept in the loop, nor given the choice to leave at end of contract.

Secondly we have called 3/Vodafone and complained to some overseas, non-fluent english speaking person who didn't even understand us, to be told our reception is fine and also got quite angry towards my husband, nice customer service! And I'm sure they can really tell from looking at a computer that we have good or bad reception.
The phone had dropped out numerous times before my husband could even get that far as to speak to a real person.
I sure hope we can all just get some sort of service with this distorted company.

Bought 2 x$2 SIM cards. Both would not activate online. Tried with the worlds most annoying and useless phone system - LARA - and still wouldnt work. Spent over 5 hours over 2 days on hold waiting for someone from Vodafone to answer their help line (this included getting cut off 2x when I was 'transferred'to another line). 1 SIM up and running. The other still not working 4 weeks later.

thanks to 3/vodashit, my phone is about as useful as a one legged man in an arse kickin contest. after numerous calls (have to be practically right beside the tower to make the call) to their sweatshop call centres, just get hand balled from person to person all with the same lame speil, "it must be your phone, would you like to upgrade?" f**k!!!!!
they can just boot off!!!

a) i need to attempt to send a message NUMEROUS times because it won't send the first time (even if my phone says I have reception)
b) i drop out of reception ALL the time, and often have to switch my phone off and then on just to regain it because it won't automatically find it
c) internet on my iphone is slow
d) my phone will rarely call someone first up - it sits on the "calling" screen but doesn't do anything, leaving me to keep trying to hang up and try again - VERY stressful in a rushed moment/emergency
e) battery life on my iphone does not last a day - I'm not sure if this is an issue with the phone or if my constant issues stated above are draining the battery
f) due to the internet being slow etc i'm on there for longer increasing my phone bill

VERY disappointed, considering I have been with vodafone for 7 years!!

i am on an unlimited call plan with a iphone4 but out going calls last 6min 42secs i also get my mic cut out i can hear the other person and the phone locks for a period of time after hanging up, i am in the pilbra and after several calls to vodafone i have to send my phone to my parents as there is no vodafone shop for 1200km then my parents will have to send up a replacement phone and sim? as vodafone says its the phone not the network. incoming calls go ok outgoing you can count on 6min 42 and in a 30min call thats 5 separate calls very irritating

I have been a happy customer of Vodafone for quite some time now. Was with Optus before and never had ANY reception, regardless of where I was. My problems with Vodafone only started a few weeks ago, where lost network keeps showing up on my iPhone. But have experience delayed voicemails from the start. There should be no reasons for this to happen.

MY MOBILE BROADBAND IS NOT CONNECTING AT ALL FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS WITH VODAFONE'S SIGNAL STRENGTH AND MY BROADBAND DISCONNECTING FREQUENTLY.
THEY SEEM TO BE SPENDING SO MUCH TIME, MONEY AND EFFORT ON ADVERTISING AND ABANDONING THE QUALITY AND SERVICE SIDE OF THINGS.

bought a pre paid pocket wifi so could use internet and skype to speak to family abroad.
Also had two prepaid SIM's for two phones. Guy at Vodafone store confirmed good signal in area I was to use it in. In you dreams!!!!
