26 Mar 2012 - Update Highest Rated Pain Stories Highest Rated Gain Stories Vodafail Local Facebook Page
Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

Cant wait for my contract to finish from this shoddy service. But a word of warning people, don't think that lovely telco TELSTRA will save the day. They
will milk you dry and delibaretely confuse you with their billing,on-line help and web site so you cough up rather than question the charges.I'm now left with Optus to try for the first time, good luck to us all,Amen.

5159 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Overseas problems at 27 Dec 2010 08:43:32 PM
I recently took a group of students overseas. Before I left I rang Vodafone and informed them that I would like to use my phone overseas without getting another sim card. They assured me everything would be fine. Not the case: I was unable to make calls or receive or send messages.
I also got my wallet stolen and I had to use public phones to block my cards.
Not happy.
27 Dec 2010 08:48:05 PM: You are so lucky that if you were able to make/receive calls that you weren't charged for roaming. Also, Data usage overseas is charged at $20.48 per MB.

I was with vodafail for 6 yrs all good at first bur the past year nothing but crap my reception was always out never was able to het calls which frustrated people who tried to call. The last two months I had people call me the phone would drop out as I answer the call saying no reception then I have to turn my mobile on and off to get reception back. The last two bills I've had went up in price and don't add up. I tried calling which was useless so I went into the store. They closed our vodafail store and moved us to a small company down the road they r rude and useless they wouldn't help and the when I thought stupidly to upgrade to a new phone on a special 59 cap plan in there catalogue they told me it went to 69 even though the special lasted till 31 January they said vodafail decided to change their mines well then don't advertise it. What made me jumped shi was after the guy working there was talking to a customer on the phone happily after hanging up started bad mouth the customer on the phone in front of everyone saying there full name I was so disgusted that I went across the road and sign up with telstra. I am still arguing over the bill and I am not paying it till they have a reason and fix the. All I can say is bye bye vodafail you suck!

Rang asking for a payout figure to cancel my contract. When they asked why I explained all of the issues I'd been having & was told that they could help me to solve the problems & if they couldn't then I would be able to be released from my contract & NOT HAVE TO PAY A CENT. Fast forward thru 6 weeks of lies from call centre & heated "discussions" between me & call centre ending with a complaint thru the TIO website. Result: An apology from someone in the Resolutions dept & my contract cancelled free of charge - I lost $5-odd that I'd overpaid my last bill but was happy to call it even. Two weeks later, I get a bill for 93c... I'm waiting for them to call me to collect but I doubt they will.

Seems like I'm in the same boat as a lot of people... I have been with 3 for several years and since they merged with Vodafone I've had nothing but troubles - bad reception, dropouts etc etc etc I used to be with Vodafone many years ago but switched to 3 because of their poor coverage.
I can't sit inside my house and talk on the phone because it continuously drops out. I can look at my phone and watch the reception go from 1 bar to roaming to no signal. Why should I have to pay for data roaming charges when I was standing in the middle of Melbourne! It's a disgrace and I'm sick of if.
Unfortunately if I want to get out of this god awful contract I have to pay it out! Hardly seems fair... Such a bad move by 3 to join Vodafone - you will certainly be losing a lot of loyal customers!

I have been with 3 for many years - mobiles & mobile broadband. My coverage with 3 hasnt been that bad. However, I have noticed that since 3 & Vodaphone have merged my coverage has become pretty bad. Often inside my house I have no coverage whereas before I didnt really have problems.
A few months ago I had an issue with my account - I had paid by BPAY & then got a txt saying my bill was overdue so I rang them & was told that I had to pay the bill over the phone or they will disconnect my services. I explained to the moron that I had already paid via BPAY & gave the receipt number etc I told him that under no circumstances was I paying the account again. He got quite demanding & was very rude but I refused to pay the account again & he basically called me a liar & said that I hadnt paid the bill. I got home that night & had a letter in the mail saying my phone bill had the wrong Bpay reference number on it!! That was why they couldnt find my BPAY pyt!! I rang them back & asked to speak to the rude moron that had practically called me a liar (I asked for his name when I initally rang) It was good to hear him squirm when I demanded an apology from him & told him that he was a rude pig!!

I live in South Melbourne and my phone drops out consistantly when I am talking to other VF customers (in particular) alternatively I lose all reception and the phone freezes. In addition to this my text messages dont send or receive until 24 hours later (which has caused some terrible problems) and when people call they get a msg saying '** is on the phone' when I am in bed asleep- no where NEAR my phone. I have been with VF for 5 years and I think they have gone down hill a lot in the past 6 months- it would be nice if their website would work at least once...and I dont have to wait over an hour on the phone when I am forced to call the 'help' centre. I am going to Telstra when my contract is up in Feb 2011!

I'm a sales rep, so i need to be on the phone alot, but it's hard when your making a call, and for no reason the call drops out, with full signal strength, WTF, and trying to use the internet, i spend more time waiting for a page to load it's a joke, ans the other week i found out that i haven't been able to receive any picture msg, when i rang vodafail, i was on the phone for 2 hours, they did fix the problem, it wasn't the phone, it was something on there end, so thanks Vodafail for all the messages i have missed. And now to missed calls and voicemail, sometime my phone doesn't ring, and about 30 mins later i find out i have 3-4 missed calls, one hour later i have the voicemail arrives, sorry but thats to long. Why is it when i call to complain i can't talk anyone in Australia, the people from overseas are rude, and they try to make you feel like you are lying about your problem, or they rush you, the fact you just spent 30 mins on hold, your pissed off, because the same thing keeps happening, these people in the call centres, need to learn, 1) how to speak english 2) how to be understand what we Vodafail customer are going thur 4) how to fix the problem quickly.

I live in Eltham, Victoria. About 5 days ago, Vodafone 3g in the centre of town stopped working. Still not working. The signal shows full strength but you can't make a call or send a txt. I discovered the only way to make a call is to turn off 3g on my Iphone and it uses the 2 g Network. Also, I've not been able to send emails via 3G network anywhere for months. They leave my out box but never get to the recipient. Rang Customer service and got disconnected before I could speak to a real person. Something seriously wrong.

5093 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Where do I begin? at 27 Dec 2010 08:23:50 PM
I was a victim of iphone shock in 2008. No one from vodafone contacted me to tell me I could be redeemed the $2000 bill. The period where this "redemption" occurred soon ended and now i am stuck with bad credit

Upon contacting them, I got some rude Beyatch phone girl who wouldn't help me come up with a plan that was suitable to me - Unemployed at the time as I had just moved states.

I couldn't pay the bill, my phone was cut off. My iphone, being locked to vodacrap, was useless - so until this day i use a vodafone prepaid sim - I am now moving in the country, and vodafone covarage DOES NOT EXIST.

P.S. The bill has now crept up to 4000 dollars and has been referred to a collection agency.

Vodafone are evil, ludicrous mother f***ers. Let's get ours!

I tried to call to cancel my mobile broadband When I finally got to speak to someone, I was told they couldn't look up my account with my name and address. I was going to complain, then I got hung up on. I called again with the SIM number and was on hold again, so I left my number to get someone to call me back. I finally spoke to someone who went through all my details, and then told me I had to speak to the cancellations department. I was put on hold for another 55 minutes, waiting to speak to the right department. When I finally got through I had to repeat everything again and then dodge repeated attempts to get me to stay with Vodafone. How about no.
27 Dec 2010 08:32:52 PM: Forgot to mention, cancelled mobile broadband because despite living in Fitzroy on the edge of Melbourne's CBD the reception was so bad I couldn't open emails except at like 2.30am (except on weekends when the network was busy then too). TERRIBLE.

Ordered a new iphone in August thru 3, my current carrier... still have yet to receive this, and yet I am being charged for the handset for the last 4 months and delivery fees for the handset, that was never shipped from the warehouse...!!??
WTF VodaFAIL < 3 !!??
27 Dec 2010 08:31:25 PM: Make a formal complaint to the Telco Ombudsman and get a reference number. You should get compensation. Thats illegal.
28 Dec 2010 09:45:26 AM: Yeah, thanks. It is illegal. Not only have they not provided what I am being charged for, I am being charged different pricing to what I agreed to in the online contract, which is more expensive of course.... I have a level two complaint pending at the moment.... planning to move to another carrier... (OPTUS) when this is all sorted out....

Sometimes company mergers and sending things offshore are not the best business practice.
6 Jul 2011 05:18:31 PM: So, I have now changed carriers and am very happy with them. But guess what, after my ombudsman complaint was resolved I am still receiving bills for the handset that they never sent me, which are for zero dollars. I cancelled with them and thought I would never have to deal with them again, but now I am still getting billed?! Has this happened to anyone else at all? I just can't be bothered dealing with them again. My last complaint went on from august 2010 and was only resolved in January 2011....

5075 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Rediculous at 27 Dec 2010 08:18:55 PM
I have connected 3 x mobile phones and wireless dongles for our sales staff:
- I was told by the Vodafone Business salesman that the phone will automatically connect to the Telstra network when not in range e.g. rural travel. I don't get one ounce of coverage from Bendigo to Mildura on both major highways. I have had to purchase Telstra prepaid phones for my entire team when they travel to rural areas of Vic for SAFETY reasons.
- without fail, when entering both Citylink tunnels calls all calls drop out by firebox 18 (sad that I know this!!) - WITHOUT FAiL
- I live 10kms from Melbourne CBD and cannot get better than "poor" status on the wireless dongles and consistently is forced to connect to EDGE.
- I consistently receive voicemails on my iPhone well after they should have been received.

Bring on October 2011 when we can give them the boot!!!

Can't view my postpaid bills because website says my number is not registered with them! I've been logging in for one year and now suddenly it doesn't work! Why do I have to pay if I can't even view my bill? Customer service hanged up on me twice, after thirty minutes of being "on hold". I have an iPhone 3GS. Voicemail display service no longer works (used to list my voicemails on iPhone). My voicemails don't come through until at least a few hours later or even days later! Time on voicemail also wrong. I also experience call drop outs even when I may in populated suburbs/areas. I can't always call people - says "call failed" - even though the person I am calling has good reception. At my work, people on certain other networks have reception - not me. I have to quit Vodafone asap!

My mother has had a mobile broadband usb from vodafone, and the coverage is a digrace! Unfortunately she is only 1 year into a 2 year contract with them. It takes about a minute just to load the google page! And about 10 minutes to load the HeraldSun homepage which she like. This is the same with any page and half the time she can't get coverage, even in central Melbourne...St Kilda Road!!!! We've rung up customer help, and they say we don't know why it's happening..."maybe you have too many trees around" is one bullshit excuse.
Can't wait till the year is up!!
27 Dec 2010 08:19:09 PM: Sorry to hear that. Seeing that you are 1/2 way through your contract I suggest going into a Vodafone store and fighting tooth & nail for an immediate upgrade on your existing equipment (free of charge of course) you should not have to pay for a service that you are barely getting; especially in central Melbourne.

My partner and I are both with Vodafone and have been with them for the better part of 2 years now. Not only do we get no receptions whereas other mates with other providers have no problems, we receive messages sometimes a day late and same goes for our voice-mail as well. There was an instance for a whole week straight, I was unable to use my phone with no apparent reason. Thinking it may be my phone, I had to contact and speak to multiple departments within Vodafone's so called 'customer service' and after close to 45 minutes of being passed around, I was told to simply 'switch off your phone and let it rest for a while' and the second advise was 'if this still does not work, you may need to bring your phone into vodafone'. So not until I heard from our unhappy and dissatisfied customers complain did I realize it wasn't a hand-set issue but Vodafone's non-existent network!!! Bring on the class action I say.

I work in a large global company that does business solutions for another large Telco. Tip #1 - Do not enter into any contracts regardless. Tip #2 - Vodafone stores have sales men/women and do not have a clue about service or support. They are only there to sell. Remember this and don't get sucked in. Tip #3 - Once you've walked out of the store with your new purchase, you are totally on your own. Do your homework and choose your telco wisely as they are all as bad as one another, trust me. What can we do though? Mobile communication and internet services have taken over the world and as a society we need to make a stand and act as one. Protest, yell, scream and make a big bloody fuss if the service, product or your customer experience is not what you expected or paid for. You do have rights. Strength in numbers. Vodafone 100% Fail.

it's simple bad coverage, calls dropping out, since the merger begun there seem to be to many users on the same network. They need to upgrade the network to cope with the extra demand. The merger created and overload on the network.

Not only do I suffer the drop outs and the lack of coverage, but all of a sudden over the last two months my bills(I am on 79.95 plan) have tripled!!! With no extra usage from me. Trying to get to the bottom of this has been a nightmare (multiple calls to call centre and hung up on when they cant answer my questions) as they tell me "my usage has increased" ...where? I ask....no answer...."please wait I am checking", Oh you are making calls during the peak times...wtf!!!

27 Dec 2010 07:57:46 PM: I love you optus LOL

That is FANTASTIC! So true. Even Telstra can't deny that!

4963 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Worst telco on earth at 27 Dec 2010 07:49:10 PM
My mess is too long to write about but in short I have changed telco's as I am totally sick of vodafone & their complete contempt for their customers.
The problem I had revolved around a new phone that did not arrive so I requested a refund but Vodafone said I did not order one despite the money being taken from my C/C. After more than 10 hours total on the phone to a customer service person in India I handed the whole lot over to the Ombudsman & had my refund within 10 days. Vodafone offered me $100 credit as compensation but this was in the form of "extras" on my pre-paid account that I dont use anymore.
I will NEVER use Vodafone again nor will I recommend them to anybody in fact I would activley discourage anybody from using Vodafone if for no other reason than their complete lack of customer service.
I have dealt with a lot of companies in my life but Vodafone is the WORST for customer service & Lara is a complete waste of space!!
Years ago I was with Hutchinson Communications (crap) then with Orange (still crap) then with 3 (reasonable) & for anybody that dosent know they are all the same company rebadged each time. Vodafone bought Hutchinson (3) & now they are on the Vodafone network (complete & utter CRAP).

4962 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Appalling at 27 Dec 2010 07:48:37 PM
I complained at my store about the sudden failure of my wireless USB broadband and after the usual "oh it must be your computer settings" blame-the-customer game, the store manager finally confessed that it was Vodafone's infrastructure not being set up to cope with the demand and it was causing service failure all over the place. Meanwhile, they were happily signing up new customers in the store. I had to go and buy a Telstra prepaid unit just to keep my business running. I am stuck in a contract until May 2011 with my phone and also suffer the dropouts, the texts/pxts that arrive hours or even days after sending. Unable to get through to customer service of course - you get runaround the menu and then put on hold forever. They just do what they want, and it's the consumers' job to be the police.

The mobile broadband should be named mobile dial up with the speeds it produces.
I honestly cant wait for my contract to run out so these low lifes cant get a single cent off me again, the customer service is disgraceful and would love to get compensation for the crap I have to endure every day.

27 Dec 2010 07:55:35 PM: Yes I do agree with this. You know how they charge you all the time when your call got connected? So everytime the call got cut off, and you have to redial them again. You have to pay for all of those fee. That seems unfair.

4943 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Wrong Billing at 27 Dec 2010 07:44:08 PM
Earlier this year Vodaphone for 4-5 consecutive months charged me for the use of some TV/entertainment package. Each month I would call and complain and get the bill fixed before paying each time Vodaphone tell me that it was my fault and the last time I had it fix they told me that they would be unable to change the bill the next time. Strangely it did not show up on any more bills after that. I never signed up for this service or changed any thing on my phone. Each time I called staff were rude and sometime hard to understand.

27 Dec 2010 08:32:16 PM: You must work for vodafail when we signed up to vodaphone the only place the crap would work was in the city and up the coast . Vodaphone has always known it has almost no service , it would not work anywhere in the country across 3 states I had mine for business and had no option to threaten them with ombudsman they released me from 2 contracts as they could not provide the service they had promised . A customerservice rep finally conceded they had very limited service full stop . We went back to telstra and that was nearly 2 years ago , if your service is that good you must be living up a vodaphone tower !

4892 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is PATHETIC!!!! at 27 Dec 2010 07:33:19 PM
My partner and I renewed our Vodafone contracts in May. We had been with them for 2 years prior and never had an issue. After signing on for another 2 years with higher plans so we could use internet, data etc, we have had nothing but troubles! Call drop outs, terrible coverage, missed calls, unable to make calls, SLOW loading for the net and just unable to use the net are a daily occurance.
So...I call to complain and it drops out 5 times while on HOLD. By the time I finally get to the bit where they can call you back, they do a week later! Then the girl in cancellations tells me that theres a clause in their contracts that "only guarantees coverage at the home address". From what Im reading, we are pretty lucky and get ok coverage at home, but seriously what the hell is the point of having a mobile if you cant take it MOBILE!!!
It also seems we have had worse coverage since complaining...

Totally regret why I switched from 3 to Vodafone in September 2010. They billed me twice the first 3 months, I had to close my bank account because they couldn't sort it out and couldn't explain to me why. The Vodafone shop in Prahran was not helpful too. I spent hours talking and listening to "LARA"... finally one day I was able to speak to someone, but told me "the system was down" and couldn't help. Before I switched, was told that if my family on 3 network will call me, still would be free. But it wasn't the case. I am working in Wodonga and Albury, reception is so bad I couldn't be contacted in an emergency. It doesn't even go into roaming. My fone proudly says "NO SERVICE" all the time. So frustrating. When will it end.

I must be one of the lucky ones but I have had very few problems with Vodafone. The customer service is of course shocking and always has been, both instore and over the phone, and sometimes I have no 3G in a 3G Metro coverage area, but apart from that, I haven't had any dropouts or major problems. If I ever really need to gain assistance over the phone I tend to tell 'Lara' the IVR that I have lost my phone and I seem to get through to a customer rep, pretty quick. Seems to work everytime. I feel for everyone that has had lots of trouble and can only hope that due to all of the complaints, that hopefully Vodafone will fix all of the problems and do a network upgrade a.s.a.p or seriously risk losing all of their customers to other Telcos.

I am so sick of having no coverage. The network is useless, they give you these great cheap plans but it ends up costing you more because you have to keep making phonecalls all the time. I even have to go into my bathroom to call someone because the reception is so bad around my house. Last week my car broke down on the way from Melton to Gisborne with my 7-month old son in the car and I had to walk to find the nearest house and ask to use their phone to call my Dad because Vodafone had no reception in that area. I had no pram and I had to carry him the whole way! I am definately changing providers and I hope everyone does so that Vodafone goes down!

I have been on contract with my mobile and have had no support whatsoever when I wanted to purchase a new phone (I was supposedly had a "free" mobile but had to pay out the phone before I could buy a new one with them...WTF?!)This was after 4 phone calls with just as many "consultants"

But wait, this isn't the worst...
After my partner reported excellent coverage on his Vodafail 3G modem (after dismal reception and ongoing issues with my 3 one)I decided to go with Vodafail and hope that I would never had to contact support. They were quick to sell me one but once I started experiencing issues with reception and dropouts that was the end of it. I have tried different laptops and computers, reformatted my machine, tried multiple settings and configurations as well as multiple phone calls without resolution.

I have requested multiple times as that they cannot provide me with the service to which they agreed to that they have broken my contract and as such should be voided...I get one bill wiped for the issues and having to waste half my day on the phone in anger to them because they do not understand that I have completed all of their troubleshooting BS but still no resolution.

How about they pay my hourly rate in time that I have lost in work due to their failures?

I recently changed over to $79.00 plan which excluded voice mail but included receiving Voice mail via a text message which is fine with me as I don't get many voice messages. On receiving my last bill being $90.42 I queried this as it obviously was not the $79.00 plan I changed over to. So I rang Vodafone and had to wait 34 minutes before I got someone. On explaining my problem he confirmed that Vodafone were having some technical issues and as a goodwill gesture he would reimburse me $10.00 I complained saying if the issue is YOUR end I should be reimbursed $11.42 But I wasn't going to quibble about $1.42 so I said fine. So then I am instructed to hold so as he can switch me to another department who is authorized to reimburse this amount. So as he switches me through I GET DISCONNECTED!!! I am FUMING I called back 20 minutes ago and am AGAIN waiting as I write this to speak to a real person ... and every 60 seconds I get this recorded message(with commercials peppered throughout) of a gir's voice saying "Hang in there we'll be with you real soon." This above incident is one of many - But it's the one too many. Once I get this resolved I am dropping Vodafone for ever and changing carriers. It is now 25 minutes and still waiting ... I could not take phone calls unless I was out the front door of my home with Vodafone and with the internet have to sit in the front lounge room to get reception. I am not in a rural area either! Also had to have my initial USB modem replaced due to a fault and for some reason I am being billed for both faulty modem (which is no longer in my possession) and new replacement modem each month. vodafone mobile broadband. Back home in NZ, auckland to be exact, the coverage is awesome, and the speed is a genuine rival to that of broadband at home. But here, not so much. definitly not so much. Yea sure it may be my apartment, but then when I was in my previous apartment the reception was shit. I have to sit in certain places in different rooms to get some form of signal strength, only to have it dissapear within minutes. This makes it impossible for downloads, uploading imaes and skype calls to family back home!

I have experienced similar issues with my calls to the Customer Service Centre continually dropping out for no apparent reason and for my phone calls to just not go through at all, but I don't seem to have any choice but to call them as I am being told by Vodafone Customer Service Centre employees that as I have a billing issue I can ONLY call up and cannot deal with the issue face to face. Basically, the story is that I have not received any correct bills from Vodafone since January 2010 as a billing error occured which stated my bills were due in 2026. After many frustrating phone calls of always being PROMISED that I would receive a phone call back in a few hours or a couple of days I have now received harrasing phone calls and letters from a debt collection agency asking for immediate payment of over $2,000. At this point I don't know what to do as I am only 21 and have just completed university and am only just starting a new apprenticeship. I will be in contact with the ombudsman to try and have the issue resolved but all I can realy do is hope for the best. Thanks for ruining my life Vodafone!!!!!!

vodafone mobile broadband.

I expected a whole lot better vodafone. I want 3G speed mobile broadband, thatrs why I dont have a phoneline. The internet is faster on my blackberry!!!

4704 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Big let down. at 27 Dec 2010 06:57:00 PM
Just finished a 2 year contract with only continuous roaming when their coverage map specified my area as a 3G zone. Dropped calls, phone with a terrible battery life due to the continuous network comms etc.

The unreliability of my service forced me to jump to another telco.

Up until a few months ago, I had been a Vodafone customer for almost 10 years, with very few problems. I live in a rural town, and although there are some small vodafone drop out zones in my area, in town coverage has always been really good. Anyway a few months ago both mine and my partners phones suddenly lost coverage completely in town and the surrounds. We had been overseas for an extended period before this so gave it a little time in case this had something to do with it, but quickly realised that once we were in the nearest city we had coverage again. Long story short after one month, several unanswered emails and waiting on hold for hours only to be disconnected, all I got from Vodafone was a completely unhelpful email, and was informed that according to their systems coverage in my area was still fine!I moved straight to another telco and have since learned that the exact same coverage drop out was being reported by several other customers in my town at the same time, all of whom have switched to other providers. Vodafone just lost a whole town of customers, and they couldnt even be bothered to investigate. very dissapointing.

4687 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is One big scam? at 27 Dec 2010 06:53:53 PM
Frequently get no bars/no signal in Coburg, 8kms fro Melbourne CBD.

Also had no signal in Carlton, 3kms from the CBD.

Voicemails can take a day to arrive.

3G speeds are appalling, at least compared to telstra.

Maybe rumours that voda/3 dumped all 3 users onto the voda network are true?

Constant drop outs, went a week without being able to use my phone. Spent over 7 hours on hold with no help and got attitude in the store as if it was my fault. Pics coming through up to 2 days after they are sent and voivemails coming through 4 hours later. And no Vodafone it is not my sim,. I also live in Melbourne CBD with no reception.

Live one suburb from the City (Melbourne) and do not get reception. Surely one suburb from the CBD isn't asking much for reception to work. Friends and family have to call multiple times for that slight chance that my phone will have reception at the time. I am unaware that friends family have been trying to call or have been unable to return calls and at times this has caused conflict.
How hard is it to provide service 5km from the CBD?
