Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

Reception is shocking, i have to stand in one spot at home or it cuts out. I also get late messages and when i do have reception sometimes i try and make a call and it just doesn't connect, all it says is called failed. Get your act together Vodafone, as soon as my contract runs out im outta there.
3937 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Extreme Fail at 27 Dec 2010 04:56:14 PM
For over 3 years now we've put up with absolute disgraceful reception. Considering that we live in a good area, hubby works Silverwater way and has the same problem we have here at home. We have dropouts almost every phone call, people can hear us we can't hear them. Text messages won't send or delay in sending. Phone needs to be turned on and off a few times to get messages to send. There is 3 of us on a plan together and this just isn't good enough we pay over $200 a month for vodafone. For absolute useless unreliable service. I suffer anaphylaxis and need to have good reliable service as I'm allergic to many things severely. Vodafone used to be a great company with awesome phone upgrades and fantastic service...What happened????? Now they give the crapiest phones on upgrades. My husband has been with vodafone for approximately 16 years. We will not be renewing our contracts when they finally end next year. Vodafone absolutely disgraceful

i spend min. $600 p/month on the past 3 years and they offer me $20 and they told me it will be ok if i turn of and on my phone,it's been like that from the past 2 years...every time i call them to complain they tell me witch part of sydney i have drop calls,my answer is : its not the places its the provider vodafone,i'm must the time around the cbd,,,,hello? its ridiculous, its not i'm driving around alice springs, delivering milk,i'm in sydney city...
3930 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is crap at 27 Dec 2010 04:55:03 PM
I consatantly have poor coverage, my phone will show all bars sometimes until i push the call button and then it drops from full service to zero service. I frequently have to restart my phone to get service. I will often not get my message bank messages until the following day. And when i try to call Vodafone about this it takes me friggin ages to get to help thanks to the automated computer (help) system. "FED UP"
3924 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Never fail to disappoint at 27 Dec 2010 04:54:08 PM
As per every Vodafone customer I have experienced the usual call drop outs, reception that resembles calling from a basement and the most unhelpful, painstaking customer service procedures known to man. Of recent I was put through 3 hours of customer service hell. If not for my love for Lara's automated voice I would of given up after 10mins. I had 3 problems,
1. Removing Credit Card Details from a old number and adding same details to existing number.
2. Obtaining pin to access mailbox of previous number.
3. Accessing MyVodafone due to some unbeknown reason the website instructed to contact Vodafone.
After several attempts of trying to speak to an actual operator with no success something happened and I spoke with a human. However this representative was in billing and as Prepaid customer we aren't as important and get the good old transfer trick followed by 30mins of ridiculous music. Retry and on this occasion the individual in billing actually assisted and removed the credit details from old number and solved the voicemail pin issue and solved my girlfriends MyVodafone issue. After ending call I attempted to add my credit details to existing number however I was not able to do this via the handset, the error message advised me to contact my bank as the card details were not correct. Frustrated at this I attempted to contact customer service, several attempts later I spoke with someone after been transferred from billing for been PrePaid. This gentleman advised that he couldn't help as this department was currently closed and was unable to add the card details manually. I was very angry as I had just previously removed the details with another rep. I requested to speak to the previous rep that had assisted me previously and was told that he was not available due to it been outside of his work hours. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and was put on hold, once taken off hold I was told I was getting transferred to someone who could assist but wasn't a supervisor, I wasn't given opportunity to respond. The next rep I was put through to welcomed me and then silence, no response, no call drop out just silence. I believe I was muted, this continued for 30mins before I ended the call. My next attempt after several in between the operator told me I was unable to add my card details which I just removed from previous number because I had no available funds, apparently you require $1 which is refunded to you at a later date to register card details. They don't advise this in the call however somewhere in some terms and conditions this is stated. I was furious as you could imagine. Vodafone constant lack of help and the rudeness of operators has got to stop. Anyone who has experienced the automated voice of Lara has an idea of what we all have to endure. Its like they will do anything to not actually allow you to speak to a human. Class action is more than necessary.

3914 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is mobile fail at 27 Dec 2010 04:52:38 PM
I personally uses Optus and have no complaints but the company I work for uses Vodafail and poorer coverage I have never seen. With continual drop-outs, dialing someone and waiting forever for a connection if you get one at all and dialing someone and they can hear you but you can't hear them. You bet smarten up your act because there are far better Telcos around and when contracts finish people will leave believe me you don't want to end up like One Tel
3910 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Service/ reception drop-outs at 27 Dec 2010 04:52:31 PM

3909 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is No service at home for last month at 27 Dec 2010 04:52:28 PM
When I started with Voda I was a happy fan, but around two months ago something changed, now my phone, wife's phone now only have some coverage at home with the phones in 'searching' mode more often then with service. I assume some update went bad, but it is now months.

3905 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Very at 27 Dec 2010 04:51:59 PM
Frequent call drop outs - usually after 4 - 5 mins. Also calls occasionally simply will not connect in any form requiring that I reset the network on my phone (iPhone - a 3G for 18 months, now a 4). Frequent = multiple times per day, no pattern in numbers (mobile, landline, local, national and international are all affected). This aspect is embarrassing as I use the phone for business conversations and conference calls. I now know I cannot host a conference initiated from my mobile phone because of this issue and have to make alternate arrangements for conference bridges when I am travelling.
No real issues noted with SMS.
3G data performance is patchy and doesn't seem to reflect signal strength indicated on the handset. I often use the phone to "tether" for internet access for my PC when travelling. I can be connected, and suddenly the PC reports no connection and it re-establishes. On occasion I cannot reconnect without a reset of my network. This occurs several times every time I travel which is at least once per fortnight.

3902 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Service at 27 Dec 2010 04:51:51 PM
Customer for 14 years. Terrible service cover and drop outs - my business could not handle the problems. 5 weeks without proper service. Only got motivation from Vodafone when contacted Technical Director. Vodafone does work outside major cities.. 3G service is a joke. Have now changed to Telstra after protracted "negotiation" over "payout figures" - finally Vodafone offered to break contract and waive all associated fees.
3900 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is disgustingly slow at 27 Dec 2010 04:51:27 PM
I have gone back to vodafone contract from vodafone prepaid. MY VOICE MAIL in the last 6 months has not yet worked. They keep telling me it is setup? if so why can nobody ever leave me a message? i get no internet coverage and am stuck for 24 months on a blackberry plan i cant get out of either?? SO WHAT AM I PAYING FOR? and get some ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF your staff cant even understand BASIC ENGLISH!
3894 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Should be dead at 27 Dec 2010 04:50:52 PM
They expect me to pay for my lack of reception, and almost life threatning incident.
Two weeks ago I was stranded alone in the bush of NSW. with no food, and there car broken down, the only hope I had was my Vodafone mobile, what a "great" help they are. With my phone reading full three bar service i attempted calling for help. Nothing. No dial tone, No message banks, No service what-so-ever.
After walking for five hours along one road I finally made it to a house on the outskirts of a town. The person found me collapsed on their doorstep and pulled me inside. I asked if they got service out here. And they said yes of course Optus is brilliant out here. Looks like optus will be taking my next phone contract. After trying to call voda head office they told me it was my fault that my car had broken down.
Cheers Vodafail for almost killing me, and then caring. :(

28 Dec 2010 07:18:30 AM: Wow how nice is that...you weren't even phoning to complain you car had broken down. That is such great customer service....not
29 Dec 2010 09:20:24 AM: I agree. You need to make your points clearer.. It was not vodafones fault that your car broke down and you having no food...They are a phone provider. So all you can complain about is your phone not working...DOnt blame them for having no food and your car breaking down. Head office in this instance were made a correct statement
29 Dec 2010 11:24:14 AM: Yeah i know how you feel...i called to complain that my girlfriend got pregnant and they were at fault but they said it wasn't their fault...THANKS, NICE ONE VODAFAIL. I should point out, I'm not even with Vodafone...

if a phone provider makes you sign a contract and cannot provide a service they are required to cancel the contract with no fee's... another telco did it for me with no charges or penalties...
3891 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is epic fail at 27 Dec 2010 04:50:07 PM
Been with Vodafone for many years- big mistake. Countless letters were ignored when I had three faulty phones which were replacements. Voda finally responded five months later and gave me another phone.
Endless number of dropped calls - no reception in busy areas - 3G network hardly has coverage - Im sick and tired of having my complaints fall upon deaf ears!

3890 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is epic fail. at 27 Dec 2010 04:49:55 PM
Is it really acceptable to constantly be at one bar of reception or for 3G to be a rare sighting on the phone? Why have a Vodafone outlet in an area that doesn't even support the product properly.
29 Dec 2010 11:17:36 AM: Have you seen the new vodadeath version of the iPhone. Where the standard version has 5 bars to represent signal strength, this new version only has one bar and when it registers a signal, the screen plays an animation of fireworks and a rousing rendition of Beethoven's 9th symphony!! Serious! If you believe Voda reps (and you do cause you are here posting) you will believe this!! Believe...

The biggest gripe I have is with Lara, I went over to Vanuatu and forgot to get my phone set to international roaming, so I borrowed my friends phone to call Vodaphone customer service.
Straight away Lara " identified that I was calling from oversea`s and someone would be with me in just a moment ! For the next 40 minutes I was told they "are flat out at the moment but someone would be with me very soon" and other BS recorded messages ! . After giving up after 40 minutes I tried 3 more times over the next few days at different times of the day and night adding up to 1hr of waiting on hold from overseas! In the end I never got to speak to a human and never got my phone working whilst away. What my friend got was a extra couple of hundred dollars on her phone bill which I reimbursed her for and for that couple of hundred dollars I got the privilege of waiting on hold to Vodaphone`s so called Customer Service.
Vodaphone if your waiting times are so long because your so flat out dealing with customer service issues`s then at least employee more people too answer the phone and help sort out your shit
additionally, I am on a 2 year contract, it annoys me that some days I can have service at one end of my house I have an average size house)but intermittent service at the bedroom end of the house WTF.
Sometimes I have 5 bars on my phone other times I need to drive around the corner to make a phone call. Even in Sydney city sometimes there is NO Service.
Crap signal, Crapola Customer Service ! in these days of technology

I've been with vodafone locked in a contract for 1.5 years and they have been overcharging me by over $150 every month, and everytime I call in, I need to wait for an HOUR on the phone for someone to pick up. They fix it, and then it happens again. This has been going on for 12 months! Like seriously? Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received! Cant wait for another 7 months to finish my contract and head to someone who actually does what they are supposed to do!

I stupidly suggested to my partner that she sign up with Vodafone mobile broadband because her building had no broadband wiring. Now she has moved in with me and has to continually re-connect. Vodafone mobile coverage here (Sydney northern beaches)is diabolical too.
Last year I was on the mid north coast of NSW with absolutely zero Vodafone service with friends sitting next to me talking on their Telstra and Optus phones. Vodafone sucks

Unlucky for me, I am locked into a contract till August 2011. Vodafone's reception is non-existent 70% of the time. I have no recepption in most of my house and have to walk outside, down the yard for 3 bars of reception. I have to turn the phone off and on numerous times sometimes because of no reception at all at my place.
Customer service promise they will look into the problem but nothing has been done so far. Phone calls drop out for no reason even if you are both standing still. IBlackspots while travelling are a nightmare. I have comnplained numerous times and still no better off, just more and more frustrated.

They informed us when we signed up that we would get full coverage in our town and if we didn't we could get a refund, after a week of no coverage i went in to complain. They said to wait a little bit longer while they fix/upgrade their tower. It didn't happen, i rang Vodafone and they said they couldn't refund the few months we payed for but would cancel the contract if we sent everything back. And now i have a default in my credit history.

Whats the point of having "INFINITE CALL PLAN" when you have INFINITE RECEPTION DROP OUTS! Unluckly I have instead the next worse plan, a Vodafone Cap plan.
I can't believe that I have to apologise to 1 out of every 4 people that I speak to over the mobile when the reception cuts out. I try to keep phone calls short to reduce the chances of the reception dropping. Regardless if for business or for personal use, this is really poor service. I have accepted that this the norm for Vodafone and when my contract ends this year, I'M OUT!

When making a simple local call, my I-Phone Vodaphone provider will drop out at least three times, and its costing me a fortune to call back over and over again. Also, I constantly have a "No Service" or "Searching" message on my screen. This can last for up to three hours, and happens at least once or twice a week. My text messages will not go through on occasions, and I also do not get my voicemail messages, sometimes up to 24hours later!! I am extremely unhappy with Vodaphone, am tired of calling their "help line" (their help is just part of their crap service) and then being put on hold for a minimum of 20minutes, while the call usually drops out anyway. I am going to be taking my complaints to the ombudsman, and will seriously try to get out of my current contract!!

we have no network coverage, put on hold for to long(1-2 hours)waiting and in the end vodafone just hang up on us,we can't text or make phone calls, bills never come on time and vodafone charge to much for the services they can't deliver,we are in and out of vodafone stores to solve problems but we going nowhere, what is the point using this company,we are done for good with them.

Lately I have had one bar reception or people can't gear me and calls dropping off, for a long time my 3G service has been very very slow, so slow that I don't even get to use hardly any of the supposed 1.5 gigs I could use, pages take way too long to load.

3822 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Customer Online & Call Centre Serv ice at 27 Dec 2010 04:43:50 PM
I have had a fairly small problem (as I still only use the older GSM service !), as I couldn't re-charge my Mobile, so I called the Customer Service call centre . Many hours later, and speaking to numerous people who kept referring me to someone else, I gave up ! So I sent an email, and 1 week later received a message apologising for the delay, and hoping I had solved the problem in the meantime ! I hadn't, but decided to go into a Vodaphone store instead .It was a good move as I was quickly served by a friendly lass, who soon had my phone re-charged - problem over ! So it seems that besides the reception problems, Vodaphone have a real problem with their call-centres and email customer services !

My service constantly drops out when I make calls from my prepaid mobile. I have been a customer for 7 years waiting for them to upgrade their service and coverage and am increasingly becoming disgruntled because I have been loyal and patient. I tell others not to join with vodafone if they want good reception and have no previous issues with telstra or optus as I have (home internet problems unrelated to mobile service)
Pull your socks up VODAFONE. Your customers will go elsewhere!

Vodaphone, please explain this to me... I am on a $49 a month cap (2 year contract). My mobile phone does not work between the hours of 7am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12.10pm on Fridays...EVERY WEEK, due to there being NO coverage at my work, which is not a remote location. How do you jusify charging me over $200 about 3 months ago for the month, claiming that I had gone over my cap??????????
3805 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is VERY at 27 Dec 2010 04:42:20 PM
I rarely get reception in my flat - 20 min drive from Sydney CBD. When I do it is minimal. Vodafail indeed. Interesting to read today that these issues are "recent" - since when is recent over 6 months!!!!????
3802 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is its bullshit at 27 Dec 2010 04:42:10 PM

I have absolutely no reception at work, my phone cuts out and when I called to upgrade they told me I need to pay $600 cancellation fee but the week before I got a letter saying I can upgrade to any Nokia phone or if I wait till March 2011 I can upgrade to an iphone4. When I called customer service loyalty team at 8am on the dot (because thats the time they open), I was still kept on hold for 45mins. I hung up and called back later to be told they are experiencing a high number of calls and they will call me back with the promise I wont lose my place in the queue and then 5 hours later I get a call from someone who couldnt even help me. GO FIGURE!! I guess they have sent 99% of their call centres overseas with little or no training. PATHETIC!!

3796 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is epic fail at 27 Dec 2010 04:41:37 PM
I joined in March 2010 after being unhappy with the reception and dropout from 3.What makes me very unhappy is that I explained to the salesperson the reason I was leaving 3 and they failed to inform me that they are one in the same now.I need the phone for work but there is absolutely no reception at work and only 1 bar at home I have to roam around the house to try and get some reception. When I complained to vodafone they told me to do all these useless things but nothing worked.I should be allowed to opt out of my contract since the phone is not doing what it is supposed to.
21 Jul 2011 10:46:48 PM: Hey do you have 1 bar of 3G reception? If so you can switch over to 2G and you should get 5 bars.
However, using the internet in 2G mode is significantly slower. On the up side though, your battery will last quite a bit longer.

I live in Coaldale, which is about sixty kilometers south of Sydney. Recently I subscribed to Telstra's broadband network due to the frustration I feel toward the Vodafone network. The situation for me was and still is deplorable. Currently I DO NOT have reception at all when I'm at home. I now use Skype through the Telstra broadband connection to make calls from my mobile, as I'm still on a contract with Vodafone.
In August my sister Rose died. I was at home at the time of her death and out of range of the Vodafone network. My family had no way to contact me to inform me that Rose had died. The situation for me was that if I wanted to make a call using the Vodafone network, I would have to walk a kilometer to the local train station and often wait for a weak signal to make a call, which then would often drop out.
Rose had been dead for two days before I found out what had happened. A friend came over to where I am living and said I should call my family. She told me that she had a call from my other sister Christine telling my friend of what had happened. I was guttered. I asked my friend if I could use her phone and I was able to speak with my family for almost an hour before hanging up. I spoke to Christine for more that an hour without interruption on a different network in exactly the same location I fail to receive a signal from the Vodafone network. I can't help feeling absolute in my contempt for the Vodafone organisation, and any company that use the Vodafone network.
For a telecommunication company Vodafone, in my opinion, have no concept of how important it is to be able to communicate... just ask Larra.

Shoddy customer service for the last 2 years, but more recently, a complete loss of signal in my house, irrespective of where I stand. This is a completely new problem and has resulted in me standing out in the rain to field calls. Not impressed.
27 Dec 2010 04:43:46 PM: Oh that is so true in my home too. I used to get partly decent service, now I sometimes have to actually leave the house to make calls. Also, I spend a fair amount of time in Turramurra on the upper North Shore, which is a completely "dead area" and has no Vodaphone service whatsoever in certain streets (and Im talking about the Pacific Highway area, not right up in the Ku-Ring-Gai bush area!)

I recently joined vodafone on a 24 month contract, and I badly want to get out of it, I switched over from my opts pre paid with great coverage, to my vodafone cap and every day I have trouble with reception and the Internet speed is so slow! Sometimes I can go a whole day with my phone saying no service and it's quite annoying not being able to use my phone when I want, especially when I pay for an unlimited plan. I don't think I'm getting my money's worth at all.

After countless messages saying my call will be dealt with shortly I spent over 2.5hrs on hold before hanging up the phone. My phone was then call barred due to the payment system going down. I had paid my bill but was still call barred for there mistake. This is totally unacceptable.
3732 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Ditch the phone at 27 Dec 2010 04:34:45 PM
We arrived in Aus, bought a vodaphone at the airport and the dude there grabbed the cash and never gave us the ID number so the Vodaphone call centre refuse to talk to us!!! No coverage 95% of the time. Vodaphone internet stick doesn't work at home and doesn't work outside our home area (still in the same state). When we finally got through to the call centre staff, on another companies phone, they went through "you have full coverage so it must be a faulty phone", "All 3 phones in the house must be faulty", "sorry we can do nothing without your code, even if you are complaining about not being given a code", and finally charging us money to unlock the phone which was no better than a paperweight on the Vodaphone network. The entire phone was deactivated after talking to the call centre because I was unable to recharge the phone. I finally got through to head office in Australia and they charged me more to unlock AND swiped the rest of my credit ($70+), even though I still had a Vodaphone SIM card.
I don't feel like Vodaphone have honoured the promises their salespeople make, and the misrepresentation may wind up costing lives if people try to use a Vodaphone in an emergency situation.
The whole network was down in our area for most of the month, yet the credit we could not use was also swiped out completely rather than extended.

I have been having troubles with service for the past 4 weeks. Most of the time I have no service which is extremely frustrating as my mobile is the only contact number I have and having 2 young children it is very important that vodafone works. Since having problems with Vodafone service I have also had battery problems and have to charge my phone at 3 times a day. I also have Vodafone MobileConnect Internet and have the same problems, it has taken me an hour just to write this as the interenet connection keeps cutting out.
I actually went into a Vodafone store a week ago to be told that the coverage issues was due to it being that time of year, "Christmas", and people are sending messages all the time and ringing family and friends all the time. What a load of reindeer crap.
If it wasn't for the fact that I'm tied into a 24 month contract I would have left Vodafone and gone to another network by now.

I have made numerous complaints to Vodafone, stating - no service, drops out, and the list goes on... They sent my on a wild goose chase, stating that the CBD has no problems and it would be my sim card or handset. So off I went to a Vodafone store to get a new sim card... but that didn't fix the problem. So I rang again, they said it could be the handset.. I kept on asking what there any coverage issues with Vodafone... They reply no. Voadafone asked if I wanted a investigation report on my location where the drops outs and etc were happening, I said yes... well they did the investigation report, but for the wrong location - mind you I GAVE THE ADDRESS OF MY WORK LOCATION... but they decided upon themselves to do my home location... I only found that out when they told me that the investigation wasw complete and my home location had low signals (or something similar)well I said that was the wrong location. Vodafone said that they will do another investigation report on the right location CBD... guess what... someone called 5 minutes later confirming that I wanted a investigation report on my home location... at this time I was fuming... I said "NO NOT MY HOME LOCATION, BUT MY WORK LOCATION". Vodafone really need to train their customer service staff in handling customer service...
Mind you I have been a Vodafone customer over 10 years, but after I got the TIO involved Vodafone has taken me off contract, so I may go to another provider. I realised that Vodafone don't care about the customers at all...

my husband lodged a formal complaint with the ombudsman and within days I was released from my contract with them which still had over 12 months to go. our winning line was repeated over and over to them that we were keeping our contract intact but they were failing to keep their side of the contract as there was NO coverage/mobile service therefore they were breaking the contract. Mentioned not only was my business suffering greatly but my children's school could not contact me in the case of emergency and
would they compensate should god forbid anything happen to my children. In short I urge you all to persist don't back down and continue to tell them they have broken their side of the contract. I was released without paying a cent of the supposed $1077 balance of contract.

Hiya
Thank god we have a platform! - I've been with vodafone since the early 90's and yes then it was a very limited coverage. I reckoned that as an American international eventually things would get better - and they did however since vodafone went over to the 3G network I have had an MINIMUM of one day off air - BOTH voice and data - every week for the three months!
That's the minimum! and of course if I can't contact them via by phone ...
... yes I've left customer complaints via their website but no response - I give them all the information they ask for but they say as they haven't had any response to their request for more info (ie pin number) then the complaint has been solved!!! How can I respond in the time limit if I have NO COVERAGE!!!! and I'm not the only one - many people I know who are experiencing coverage issues are with vodafone - what a garbage service - yet they still expect payment!!!
I'm still paying my bills but the next step is definitely class action!
And I don't care who knows who I am - Deirdre - 0414 587 348

... yes I've left customer complaints via their website but no response - I give them all the information they ask for but they say as they haven't had any response to their request for more info (ie pin number) then the complaint has been solved!!!

3711 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is SHOCKING ! THE WORST EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!! at 27 Dec 2010 04:33:04 PM
Where do i start,i have wasted not only hours, not days but weeks of my time stuffing around with Vodafail, they are a discrace,i've lost count of how many times ive had to go to Parramatta or Hurstville and previously the recently shut down Chatswood office which was in Sydney NSW,it would have to be over 20 times in 1 year,Chatswoos possibly shutdown due to too many complaints !
I've apparently had 4 Nokia N97 phones replaced and guess what the new one is still crap.
my phone drops calls, extremely erratic reception,Camera freezes up,phone freezing up ,really really slow internet, have to remove my battery to rectify troubles only having to do it time and time again each day.The worst thing is it plays up when you need it most. How can such a big company be such a failure? Ive sometimes been on the phone for 2hrs being passed from 1 person in india to another in the phillipines explaining over and over the same issues before being hung up on to piss me off even more.
Far far far from impressed,I've been with Vodafail for 20 years and guess what, there not going to make there 21st birthday with me. You Suck !!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. There is another company we cannot forget and that is MOKIA CARE You suck aswell.
How the heck can we get out of our contracts and move on ???? Please help ????

28 cents a text? Are you serious?
Why do we as Australians have to pay so much
My friend in greece pays only a few cents.
Shame.

27 Dec 2010 04:37:05 PM: voda rates are terrible. combine that with the coverage of the network and i'm surprised people sign up with them at all in the first place.
27 Dec 2010 05:06:58 PM: Get Skype. It costs 7 cents to text.
3705 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is disappointing at 27 Dec 2010 04:32:17 PM
I have been with Vodafail for almost 3 years and in the last 18 months I have experience call drop outs, no service for up to 8 hours at a time and low service.
This is a very poor service from Vodafone unfortunately my contract does not expire for another 6 months.

3698 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Seriously no reception in Cronulla at 27 Dec 2010 04:31:27 PM
I'm over it, continually no reception in Cronulla N.S.W on a regular basis. Plus after numerous complaints to Vodafone they are blameing another networks tower. And my emails are not being sent from my phone either. This has been so damaging to my business, I'm now forced to carry a laptop around with me again, and of course I have pay for the mobile USB connection.
The thing that gets on my goat is that I'm paying for this non existent service.
How can I get out of it???????

3697 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is i can only sms! at 27 Dec 2010 04:31:22 PM
I just signed up a contract for iphone in early Nov, 2010. The first month was fine but I noticed that from late Dec, I CAN NOT MAKE PHONE CALLS! I am using both iPhone4 (Vodafone prepaid) and Nokia N79 (Vodafone 69 Plan), and they are both the same. Can not call out, just call failed, connection error or network busy immediately. I can only SMS and receiving calls occasionally.
3693 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is The worst service at 27 Dec 2010 04:30:51 PM
Dropped calls. No coverage in my house. Voicemails that get delivered 4 days later. Calls that won't go through. Unable to text my sister for the last 8 days. What the hell am I paying for???
3692 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Going further down the hill at 27 Dec 2010 04:30:33 PM
I have been with Vodafone for years but the last 6 weeks have been pathetic in Tuggerah on Central Coast. No 3g downloads but gsm seems to work at 3-4k it's useless. Connection errors, or network busy is mostly what i get on my Nokia x6. I get a message about voicemail then can't dial in to get them. Customer care does not exist. If you wait in the queue long enough you get disconnected when finally put through to an operator. I called the ombudsmen last week and they now have 2 weeks to contact me. I too will try to cancel my contract (with 18 months to go) and go somewhere else for some real service. I congratulate the people involved with this site for allowing us to vent our anger.

3688 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is FAIL!!!!! at 27 Dec 2010 04:29:55 PM
Everytime I get a voicemail message it sends me a text about half a day later to let me know. And then it will send me a message to let me know about this voicemail message about every 15 minutes, even if i have already listened to it. Therefore VERY frustrating.
