26 Mar 2012 - Update Highest Rated Pain Stories Highest Rated Gain Stories Vodafail Local Facebook Page
Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

4344 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is difficult and unhelpful at 27 Dec 2010 05:53:37 PM
I had a vodafone 6 month plan and after 5 months I went overseas. I was told that I could cancel at the end of the 6 months. I emailed vodafone to do so and recieved no reply but continued to be billed (I had set up auto pay with my bank)I had my father visit the store and they assured him (after 3 hours in the store!) that it would be resolved. I recieved more bills. I emailed again,
no reply... This went on for the whole 6 months I was away (not using my phone)
upon returning home I went into the store and after an hour or more, the issue still wasn't resolved. I was told I would be refunded the ammount payed out as they at least had a record of the email (so why didn't they answer it??) But the staff couldn't confirm that, as, you guessed it, they couldn't get through and needed to Email HQ. Still waiting for a reply...

I am not receiving text messages quickly and at times I am unable to send messages. The coverage is poor all over the place including the internet. My internet takes forever to load up, pausing half way and then dropping out - not loading the page. I have only been with Vodafone for 4 months now and I am very unimpressed with the company.

we signed up to a mobile broadband package with vodafail and it worked fine for three months then it started dropping out and loosing signal. i spent more than 6 hours on hold to a call center in india only to be told there was nothing they could do. i then went into the vodafone shop and they told me there was nothing they could do either. i ended up ringing the call center in india back for the 15th time before i got a response when i was told that they would change my plan to 10 dollars a month. every month since i have recieved a bill of $29+ and i have to call the stupid call center and get them to charge me the correct ammount. also every time i call them they tell me that if i dont pay it they will give me a bad credit rating and will not cancel the contract.

Vodacrap ripped me off - what more do I need to say? Promised a service they can't deliver. They cost me lot more than money too, they cost me a job. Dishonesty is the standard business paradigm for Australia but Vodacrap have taken dishonesty to a whole new level. We are lucky Vodacrap don't own a bank.

Was with Vodofone on prepaid last year when I purchased a new touch phone. Travelled all over Victoria and could harldly get any service. When I enquired about unlocking my phone so I could change networks I was told they couldn't do it, even though I owned the phone outright. I finally changed over to another network but it took several phone calls, many hours on hold form Customer care and abuse from the owner of a Vodofone shop

Something totally fail about this website I felt I should draw attention on is the amount of complaints about poor battery life. Vodafone doesn't make a single handset. The handsets are pretty much the same wherever you go. If you've got a problem with the battery life, complain to the handset manufacturers not to the telco's you brainless douches.

4328 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Legendary Fail at 27 Dec 2010 05:51:55 PM
Have been with VF for a LONG time, however, signed up a two year contract in Feb 2010 (because I found their service to be excellent, Customer Service was crap, but never needed it in years). In July 2010, while wife was sick and tired of 3, I convinced her to switch over to Vodafone as well, BIG MISTAKE. It appears she brought all her problems with her;

1- Call Drop Outs.
2- Extremely Slow Internet.
3- No Coverage needing REBOOT (Blackberries are a pain in the arse to REBOOT)
4- SOS Only needing REBOOT.
5- 3G Constantly Dropping even at FULL 3G coverage a second ago.
6- 'SIM Unregistered' Message needing REBOOT.

Called VF, you know how frustrating it is trying to talk to bloody Lara while at work? Twenty five minutes first hold, problem not solved.

Second call, told to leave number and will get a call in just over thirty minutes, no call back for 52 minutes.

Called again, on hold for over 25 minutes when another call is on hold, switched over, 26 minutes later, been put back on hold, still not sorted.

I have avoided having wife's iPhone break my head numerous times (mostly because she loves her phone), but this is ridiculous.

My uncle passed overseas three days ago and while on the mobile talking to his daughter to share the sorrows, the phone drops out after a five minute conversation. to top that off, my sister calls me from USA because she is very depressed, but I can't call her back because the 'Sim Unregistered' message...

I will call them every time there is a problem and demand out if it keeps happening regularly hence forth.

I have no reception in my house which is 15 mins from the Sydney CBD. My boyfriend who is with three gets full reception and yet I thought vodafone and three had merged, so why don't they share the same service?? One day into my new contract I tried to change phones because the battery didn't last 24 hours, and I need it for on call duties. Vodafone told me I would have to return the phone 3 times in 28 days before they would let me change to a different phone...what a joke!

I live in Mackay QLD and have extremely poor reception in and around my home. In summary my vodafone contract phone can not be used in or around our residence where i spend most of my time, hence, I am stuck paying a 24mth contract for nothing. When explaining my plight to Vodafone they said it is unfortunate but they would not break my contract free of charge or assist in anyway!

I will not use vodafone again, EVER. (Well when they let me out my jail sentence lock in)

27 Dec 2010 06:01:14 PM: You can get out of the contract J, you're not breaking the contract, VF is breaching it by not providing you with the service they promised, give them a call everytime you have a problem for a couple of weeks, if it doesn't get better, tell them you want out, you will go and find another provider, if you have gotten a phone off them, offer to return it to them. Find yourself a better provider (I personally despise OPTUS), ask the staff to help you through the process.

This delays my messagaes , people have been trying to call me , yet my phone doesnt ring.
I lodged a compaint with vodafone about 3 weeks ago, they advised me that someone would contact me with 7 days to give me an outcome as to why this is happening... im still waiting for that call.
Their service is crap , and i cant wait for the day i can take me services elsewhere!!!!!

i have been with vodafone for about 4 years. At first it was ok, but everytime I made a call, after 5 minites it would just drop off. This would happen with every phone call and all through thr duration of the call.....very very frustrating. Then they go change the cap values on how you use them. Gee dont ask the customer what suits their needs .Reception is up to shit. The customer service section is bloody hopeless. Thats why I have now switched to telstra, now drop out of calls and better coverage.....try and compete with that vodafone.....bet you cant

- Ordered mobile broadband @ online store
- Received order confirmation by email.
-Did not receive product
-rang to enquire about order ("customer care") - this took 2 attempts:
1. After 30m waiting - was hung up on.
2. Quoted my order number - told they couldn't find my order - told to ring back when I had the right order number! (which I had)
- After another 30m wait was told that I had previously quoted the right order number - but there had been a system error and my order was allocated to a different person instead - told to go and sort it out at a Vodafone store...
4. Made my way to vodafone store- to the front of the line - then told to wait because salesperson saw someone they could make a sale with instead of dealing with my problem.(even though I was there first)
5. Finally got some assistance was told again my order had not gone through. Salesperson rang someone on the phone- man on phone said they could give me three months for free if I placed another order with him, or I could place an order in store with salesperson and not get three months for free.. um?!
6. Waited around again for 5 mins while salesperson and man on phone chatted about the weather/ work party before hanging up.
7. Man on phone organised to call me back so I could place the order at 5.30pm that day- NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN!
The most pathetic customer service display I have ever seen and I endured it all for zero outcome. FAIL!

Dropped calls, no reception in different parts of my house, no range 5kms from a major Queensland town of 140,000 people, no coverage from Toowoomba to Goondiwindi so 350kms and 3hrs of no reception along one of Australia's busiest highways, virtually NO 'Live!' coverage so none of the free Facebook and YouTube services they advertise are no cost, terrible voice quality calls, 4hrs on hold for customer assistance in one instance, 1hr waits on five occasions - all times I gave up, painfully slow data transfers, duplicated messages for two weeks including three days when they were triplicated and quadrupled as well as not receiving or sending TXTs for two weeks with no apology or compensation...you would expect this from a carrier in a 3rd world nation, and STILL they market and advertise for more clients!!!

We have found after being with Crazy John's for a short time (they use Vodafone, 3 and Crazy John's together) that my husband and I have entire days without coverage. No support offered from Vodafone/Crazy John's. My phone will often let me know I have a voicemail when the thing never even rang for me to answer it. Text messages can take forever (not always) but too often... and often I can't even phone my husband as we're on the same network/plan. Previously we were with Virgin and had no issues. It's not like we live in the bush or anything...!!

I am 8 1/2 months into a 24months contact with vodafone to a iPhone.
I love my phone and as I am on one of the most expensive plans to buy it out would cost me a small fortune I am sure...
My reception drops out all the time and it isnt always when i am in unusally places.(e.g when i went for a weekend away in windsor i had to reception the whole time.... which is some what understandable.)
But when i am simply lying on my bed or have my phone at my desk, places where i can get 100% coverage on the "good days".
at first i was exteremly unhappy with the iPhone thinking it was something to do with the smart phone with limited coverage...

with extremely poor data rates, I decided to ring Vodafone and get a payout figure on my contract. After the 56 minute wait to speak to the first consultant, I was then made to wait another 55 minutes to speak to a technical support officer, which then made me wait another 1 hr and 2 minutes to esculate me. After getting through to a consultant, the call dropped out. I then phoned back (waited another 55 minutes) and the consultant could only then offer me $40 credit on my service... and that still didn't fix my poor data service... They promise me that a team leader will call me back, lets see what happens...

I left Vodafone the moment my contract expired with them. After the horrible coverage and reception I suffered for to years, they failed to send me my last bill, I called and requested it to be sent. It never was. i received an email saying I had to pay the amount plus an overdue fee, the regular bill was unusually high. I emailed back requesting a breakdown of the bill, after three of these requests Vodafone sent me someone elses bill, with their phone number, all the call and messages they had sent over the past month and their address. I called to complain but wasn't able to talk to a person.

I went into a store to complain, and they gave me yet another phone number. This all went on over about three months. Me requesting my bill, they were calling and telling me to pay my bill. In the end I paid, I was sick of the phone calls, but I still regret that they wore me down.

I sent the other person's bill that they sent to me to the address on the bill, with a letter telling him that I was given all his personal details, and to be careful.

20 Jan 2011 01:58:56 AM: 'but I still regret that they wore me down." How many times have I seen something similar on this website- I think Vodafone is doing it quite deliberately

I think waiting on hold for over 40 minutes, then to have your call answered by a clearly Indian person with an overworked Aussie accent is appealing and disgusting, then to be advised that they could not fix the problem I was having right away, and that I'll have to call back in an hour or so to have the issue even considered for correction is a customer service crisis.
Finally, after another phone call and this time over 50 minutes on hold, I was told that somebody would call me back in an hour or so to help me further.. so I waited for the return phone call, and about 4 hours later and nearly 10pm Sydney time, I received a phone call.... and surprise, surprise, the best solution to my problem was to go into a Vodafone store and the staff there can help me!
This is outrageous, shocking and most of all disgusting!
I'm contracted to stay with Vodafone for 8 more months, and would NEVER CONSIDER USING THIS CARRIER EVER AGAIN!!!!!

In 2009 my husband signed up with Vodafone through Crazy Johns shop, promising us excellent reception, told them I did party plan and traveled around, showed us the map of all their towers but Hubby dropped me off on Military Rd Semaphore, while he went to main Street close by, I rang and rang him, no answer, this was within half a klm. Same thing again got stranded and had to go looking for him in a country town, this caused me a lot of anxiety and had to get a lift from someone to go and find him, Crazy Johns would not believe us that the phone was faulty, I insisted they look at it, after two trips to shop, they took it and gave us a replacement for the interim that did not work either, then we got the old one back and it HAD been faulty, still got no coverage, and I rang up and told them that I had come to the end of my patience and they got hubby out of the contract, that day was a great one for us!! Back to Telstra for him, and all is good.

4294 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is very fail at 27 Dec 2010 05:48:42 PM
I used to be a vodafone customer well until I was ripped off. I kept being sent other peoples voice mail messages. I was getting sms's saying voicemail messages had been left yet no actual calls.
I had people wishing me well on my trip, even though I wasn't going anywhere. People who couldn't wait to meet me. They are still waiting if the message was for me.
I had spent at-least 50$ on retrieving incorrect voice mail messages. I was expecting them to fix the problem then maybe give me a credit for the wasted money but I gave up and left them.

4293 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is super big disgraceful fail at 27 Dec 2010 05:48:40 PM
People phone me, unable to get through because the 'line is busy' even though I am not using the phone. On several calls the signal has just dropped out resulting in the call being terminated. This is in residential, urban metro area of Perth!! Takes a really long time for voice messages to come through and be recognised. Vodafone have locked me in to a 24 month contract with a blackberry. First plan I have bought, been with vodafone for ages, trusted them. There performance in the last 12 months has been nothing short of a disgrace. Expecting me to pay for a service?? What service?? A lot of the time my phone gets such a weak signal I cant make calls. The internet on my phone too is super slow. Nothing more infuriating when you are on the phone and it disconnects. The whole point of me having a phone is so I can get in contact with people when not at home and people can reach me when i am not at home. I might aswell leave my mobile at home seeing as the whole purpose of me having a phone at times is pretty much defeated. Oh and I forgot to mention. The lag in texting is horrible sometimes. Sure if I was living in the country, had an inferior phone and wasnt paying a big monthly premium for it i would have no issue. But I have a blackberry, pay heaps for the service and live in metro perth where Vodafone claim to have on par coverage. This a complete disgrace. I'm counting down the months vodafone.... And after that I am out. I am investigating terminating early, just doing the sums of what it would cost.
27 Dec 2010 06:07:51 PM: I've had all the same problems, whatever you do do not agree to pay the termination fees, after 2 months of crap service and numerous problems I phoned the TIO and got a call on Friday from Vodafone saying that I will be let out of the contract with no termination fees as long as I return the phone to them

I have been with Vodafone since about 2004 and this past year have received the absolute worst customer service. Not to mention the next to no reception when at home. I can barely use my mobile broadband and have never had better reception then "poor" and that's a good day. Most days I'm so frustrated I give up and wait till I get to work and do whatever I can in my breaks. Meanwhile I'm paying $80 per month for my phone and $39 per month for my internet. It's rubbish.

4285 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Gone majorily downhill at 27 Dec 2010 05:46:38 PM
Since moving to Syd from Melb and over the last 6mths the service and coverage has gone downhill considerably. I'm often having to turn off 3G just to make a phone call and on one occasion with full bars, I couldn't make a call or receive any calls. I have tried to contact Vodafone 10 times (low number because of giving up trying), getting through only 4 times, of which 3 I was hung up on straight after saying my name. Generally the wait was up to 30mins, didn't stay any longer on the phone to find out how long. I have had brilliant service in the past, but in the last 6mths it is the worst I have ever had. I'm glad to have changed providers and I not planning to ever go back!

4282 Someone from NT thinks vodafone is EPIC NETWORK FAIL ! at 27 Dec 2010 05:46:07 PM
I have had a contract with Vodafone for approx two years now. Although I've never had a problem with Customer Service per say; the Network is pathetic ! I live in Darwin in the Northern Suburbs District & work in the City district. Although Darwin may seem to be classed as a "remote" area, it's still no excuse for the such horrible Network Service I get. Both in the City & the Suburbs I get 1-3 bars of reception usually, & when receiving text messages they are some what delayed anywhere between 5minutes & an hour ! (according to the time stamp that also comes through), this is especially when I receive messages from other Vodafone Users. Attempts to make phone calls can sometimes not even be worth the try; as %50 if the calls I make Im usually met with the now all too familiar "beep, beep, beep", or be half way through the conversation (again more frequently with other Voda Users) and the call drops out with a message on my screen saying "Call Failed". I work in Car Rental and use my Mobile phone to organise many aspects of my day; getting through this efficiently and smoothly is impossible with the Vodafone Network & if the problem pursits will definately NOT be renewing my contract by the end of it. It's simply not worth the distress & especially the inconvinieces it causes for me in my Job ! So, do you think Vodafone will seriously get off their ass and do anything about it ? After numerous phone enquires, they're not even worth my time to go in and directly deal with them; I think NOT !
From one User who definately will not associate with Vodafone again unless they start to value their Clients & provide a more efficient service !

For at least the last two weeks I have had 1 bar of service "if any service at all" I could be basically be standing next to the mobile phone tower and I still dont get any more than one bar.

This is unacceptable. I have been thinking of leaving Vodafone as they really dont seem to be up to scratch. I have not bothered to call them as I get fed up having to speak with a automated person. So annoying......

I believe that Vodafone customers should be compensated in some one as we are still being expected to pay and not getting 100% back from Vodafone......

All my calls drop out, people do not receive my sms & also my credit seems to be used when I haven't even used all my sms including free ones! I recommended Vodafone to all I know & found their customer service 2nd to none... but shame their mobile service is non-existant & costing me hard earned $! 4274 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is 15Years FAIL at 27 Dec 2010 05:45:06 PM
I have been with vodafone for 16 years at least maybe more. To date I still can not send a text from my lounge room or take a call without it dropping out. We live just outside Brisbane in a northern outer suburb not far from the City but anyone would think it was in the middle of outback Australia.
The last phone I was sold is substandard but the signal strength falls within the permissible levels apparently according to the repair people. They are 2-5 whatevers and my signal strenght is 2.2. Poor guys very poor. For years I have been hearing the same message from the CEO's that they are on it and upgrading will take place. It hasn't in the last 16 years so I doubt very much whether it will happen in the next 16. But you can bet your bottom dollar all the Bosses are collecting their substantial bonuses every year.
I have a two year plan and my phone started to fail 4months ago. It turns itself on and off whenever it feels like. That was only 18months into my plan. (I have never had a phone last the 2 year contract time.) Only 2 more months to go. Ringing to complain is just a waste of time. Nothing can be done unless I want to sign up again, get a new phone for another 2years etc etc. Well guys I am a very very patient person I have done that eight times already. Nothing has changed after all these years. Very Poor business practices vodafone in this day and age. You should be ashamed of yourselves, I am when someone asks me which carrier I use.

I am so glad I watched the news tonight and have seen your website! Thank you!

Their customer service is just disgraceful - I don't know how they are allowed to get away with it.
the below is a complaint letter that I sent to them a couple of month ago. No one responded to me. I am going down to vodafone tomorrow to get out of my contract if I can - I encourage everyone to do the same - having no customers is the only way to hurt these organsiations - vote with your feet!

DEAR WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDER EVER!

I AM WRITING THIS EMAIL OUT OF SHEER ANGER AND FRUSTRATION AS I CANNOT FIND ANSWERS ANY OTHER WAY. KNOWING VODAFONE I WON'T GET A RESPONSE.

YOUR RIDICULOUS LARA VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND DOES NOT WORK. YOU WAIT ON HOLD FOR HOURS AND THEN GET THROUGH TO A DIVISION LIKE TECH SUPPORT WHEN YOU WANT BILLING AND THEY CAN'T HELP YOU. YOU ARE THEN TRANSFERRED BACK ONTO A QUEUE THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT AGAIN.

LET YOUR CUSTOMERS SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON. A PERSON THAT IS AUSTRALIAN! YOU ARE THE AUSTRALIA DIVISION OF VODAFONE! I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING PUT THROUGH TO AN INDIAN OR EGYPTIAN CALL CENTRE WITH STAFF THAT CULTURALLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT. I HAVE BEEN ON HOLD TONIGHT FOR OVER TWO HOURS. RESOURCE YOUR CALL CENTRES APPROPRIATELY!!! I HAVE BEEN PASSED FROM EVERY DIVISION, SPOKEN TO A SUPERVISOR AND STILL NO ONE IS ABLE TO PUT ME THROUGH TO A PERSON THAT CAN ASSIST WITH MY REQUEST.

I APPRECIATE THAT YOU CFO IS TIGHT AND WANTS TO CUT COSTS BY OUTSOURCING CALL CENTRES TO INDIA AND EGYPT, BUT YOUR CUSTOMERS CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE INDIAN CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM'S ACCENT AND LANGUAGE BARRIERS. I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I CANNOT SPEAK TO ANYONE IN AUSTRALIA AT ALL. ASK YOUR MARKETING DIRECTOR - WHAT IS THE POINT OF DEVELOPING A GREAT BRAND CAMPAGIN WHEN YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED LIKE DIRT AT THE OTHER END I CANNOT BELEIVE HOW BACKWARD YOUR APPROACH TO CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS.

IF I DIDN'T HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO I WOULD START A VODAFONE HATE CAMPAIGN ACROSS EVERY SOCIAL NETWORK SITE I CAN FIND.

IF THERE IS ANYONE WITH A BRAIN THAT CAN READ THIS EMAIL, PLEASE SEND IT TO YOU MARKETING TEAMS, BECAUSE I AM SURE THEY WILL CARE MORE ABOUT THIS COMPLAINT THAN ANY OTHER. IF YOU WANT A LESSON IN CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE PHONE THE COMMONWEALTH BANK AS THEY KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS PROPERLY. I FEEL LIKE I MATTER TO THEM AS A CUSTOMER.

WITH VODAFONE I CAN'T WAIT TO WORK OUT HOW I'M GOING TO GET OUT OF YOUR CONTRACT AND TELL EVERYONE HOW ABISMAL YOUR SERVICE IS!

IF SOME POTATO IN YOUR AUSTRALIA CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM COULD CONTACT ME TO ANSWER MY QUESTION I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL.

I WON'T HOLD MY BREATH.
27 Dec 2010 05:59:18 PM: Your letter looks close to the letter I wrote to them not that long ago. I'm still waiting for that call...All I have been getting is automated email replies
27 Dec 2010 11:36:07 PM: maybe you shouldn't be such a racist dickhead
29 Dec 2010 06:33:51 PM: LOl you idiot......Commonwealth Bank got the lowest score in customer service out of any of the major banks. Im not defending Vodafone nor am I trying to make Commonwealth Bank sound bad but seriously do some research before you make such stupid comments. P.S all you have to do is ask to cancel your contract, they will cancel it for you or come to a compromise. I was annoyed that I was paying $100 a month for shitty coverage and they cancelled my contract. Done happy :-) ......ohh and if you think that vodafone has tight ass CFO, you might want to google what commonwealth banks profits were last year. The board decides to cut costs to make money for share holders. Share holders at the end of the day want more profits so therefore favour cheaper decisions, the CFO is mearly a puppet in-between the public and its shareholders.........so who do we blame SHAREHOLDERS!!!! no further comment....

The main reason two company telstra and optus is jealsouy and cant win in business side , so they are tarnishing the image of vodafone.vodafone has invested 8billions for its towers and 8.3ghz frequency which is equal to telestra. People need to be patient . customer care in India is par excellence services . Indians are well educated and well mannered people .if aussies understand indian english then there is some problem in vocal bury and ausi phonics. Guys cant we just grow up?and let us stop being racist .and for all your worries on vodaofne , you will be definitely compensated .

I am paying good money each month for broadband coverage only to not be able to connect to the internet for at least 60% of the time. When the connection drops out, they still deduct from my allowance for the month. On querying this with their call centre many times, they informed me that I would have to open up my connection so that their staff could gain control of my PC and alter my settings - Just how stupid do these clowns think I am to allow a stranger access to my PC in 2010??

Further whinges have to come from the fact that I paid to have my phone unlocked, only for the code not to work and for them claiming that I still need to pay them - again what is with this paying for non existent service?

A family member of mine is also visiting from abroad and bought a Vodafone prepaid pack, only to have minimal coverage over the past week - this in the middle of Sydney.

Shocking - shocking - shocking that these muppets have not been kicked up the bum ages ago.

I moved to Darwin 2 months ago and have had nothing but problems, with no reception for mobile or broadband. I have been into the Vodafone shop 4 times and every time I ask for assistance I am told to call 1555. Once the staff even told me I needed to call Customer Support from where I have no coverage!!! I have called 1555 3 times and once they actually asked for another number to call me back on so I went into work on my day off and waited for the return call, needless to say I am still waiting over a month later.

I resorted to sending an online request asking for my payout figure, as once again, the girls at the shop couldn't give me the information and advised I should call 1555! I received an acknowledgement email, and then a week later I received an email asking if the fault was still a problem or had I resolved it myself. If only I could!!!

4252 Someone from Somewhere else thinks vodafone is We are too busy here in India!! at 27 Dec 2010 05:41:03 PM
Please oh please we are too busy to blog comments in support of our client - Vodafone Aus. Too many complaints, plus we can't write enough positive comments to refute your complaints. Think about how hard we are working for minimum pay!! No time to even watch the cricket - gosh.

4251 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is at 27 Dec 2010 05:40:50 PM
I have a iPhone with vodafail on a 2 year contract which is up in 6 months! I have had problems with them over the years were they have been taking money out of my bank account with out any consent or contract binding! When I rang to sort it out they kept putting me through to the debts area like i was the one that owed them money!! I had to go to the TIO in the end to have it sorted out. Last week I waited on hold for customer service for 1 hour and 20 minutes to try and have my handset upgraded. I hung up in the end because I couldn't bear to waist anymore of my time!! NOT HAPPY

4249 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is Reception and over-charging at 27 Dec 2010 05:40:37 PM
Reception is very poor and if i wasn't on the phone for a good hour saying to 'Vodafone' people, look you have over charged my account by $245.30, they could have easy got away with it. They kept telling me I went over my plan when I never have. It took so much of time and effort and who knows how many people they have actually got away with scamming. It is a waste of my time!
Disappointed and disgusted with the signal!!

4248 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Gutted we signed with Vodafone! at 27 Dec 2010 05:40:36 PM
My husband and I signed into two 24month contracts five weeks ago and are gutted we chose Vodafone. The coverage is crap and and we often have to go outside to use our phones. Calls cut out periodically and voicemail doesn't tell us we have a message for up to 36 hours after the message was left. I spoke to a Vodafone rep at our local mall about the voicemail problem and she just shrugged her shoulders and said that Vodafone has some issues and there was nothing they could do about it. Crap service Vodafone! Wish we hadn't signed...grrrrr!

4246 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Getting worse at 27 Dec 2010 05:40:28 PM
I have been with vodafone for years and i have notice that it's getting worse. My reception is just plain awful. i compared to my friends telsta and he never has drop outs or no reception. I have no reception in shopping centers which shouldn't be right. its not my phone because i tried my sim in other phones. I never thought i will have to go back to optus, but i am rather temped...
