26 Mar 2012 - Update Highest Rated Pain Stories Highest Rated Gain Stories Vodafail Local Facebook Page
Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

Quite worried as I signed up about 6 months ago and am now faced with moving to the central west of NSW for work. having driven the road I will be travelling for 100 k's each way there are only a few small pockets of reception on the main road between Parkes & Dubbo. You don't even have to travel 500 meters out of Dubbo to loose reception. Currently driving 10 k's along the M5 from Ingleburn to Campbelltown I loose reception twice when calling resulting me having to recall. these guys really know how to make their flagfall quota.

7571 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Beyond a Joke at 28 Dec 2010 07:12:58 PM
Same as everyone who has provided comments. My phone constantly drops out in central areas of Sydney, voicemail does not deliver messages for 4 or 5 days, and then will deliver messages at once, and 6 times each....slow 3G capability, SMS's not delivered to me or undeliverable to others, Bill inexplicably suddenly charges 100% more on my cap etc etc. Have been a customer for well over 10 years, and will seriously consider changing providers when contract is up. They are a joke

7570 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Prepaid Nightmare at 28 Dec 2010 07:12:12 PM
First, I feel sorry for the employees who get the abuse, and I don't work for Vodafone.
Second - I have read a number of these opinions, and I need to ask, why can a company do this badly in CS, and survive?
I'm on prepaid, with LG android touch, and reception in the middle of swanston st melbourne at 3pm today, one bar. A friend who is will telstra, we did the sim card swap, full reception, same spot.
If Vodafone wish to survive, they need to improve, first step, employ more CS staff, to take pressure of your current staff, to get calls answered faster, helps to reduce customer dissatisfaction. This will help to improve you image.
Last tip, stop sponsoring OZ cricket... Sorry bad joke!!
Those who want to leave, fight for your right.
28 Dec 2010 07:17:08 PM: As an EX employee, THANK YOU for feeling sorry... Cos we cop it!
I personally has been walked to my car by police after a man wanted to 'meet me in the car park' on more than one occasion (i was pregnant at the time) I have been yelled at to the point of getting spat on, I have had things thrown at me. I have had a guy tell me he was going to hang dead things all over my car and around the shop, But then I have also had beautiful old ladies and men ONLY come to me cos I helped them the best, I have had flowers, chocolates and other things brought for me..

7567 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is useless at 28 Dec 2010 07:11:23 PM
As if the constant drop outs not enough, now I have no reception in Berwick, VIC.
Can not make out going calls, can not receive incoming either. My iphone 3GS shows 4 bars network availability but can not call out or receive. This problem started just two weeks ago. I tried every option and Vodafone haven't got any solution for me!
Today Vodafone asked me to change my SIM and that didn't help either. At 3PM, I decided to call the technical service. Made several attempts and after 4 hours on hold (on and off) no one was able to transfer me to network issues department. Twice I was told someone would call me, it is now 9PM and I am still waiting!
Telstra is now looking pretty good, I will now take this matter to Ombudsman, leave the contract without paying any penalty...

Vodafone, good luck with the merge...well done, great stuff up...

7566 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Internet at 28 Dec 2010 07:10:22 PM
Was talked into using Vodafone prepaid internet service. From the get go had a poor to very poor signal but still internet worked for the usual email, banking and very slow facebook. The suddenly the pages would not load when you opened the internet. After a week of no internet usage and countless efforts and wasted credit trying to get it to work i rang Vodafone, was on hold for 25 mins until someone answered only to be told "You have a poor signal, all you can do is keep trying" I'm sorry, WHAT!!! TO be told again "You have a poor signal, all you can do is keep trying" I explained that i was logging on everyday and using up my credit to try and get on and was told "Sorry ma'am, keep trying and if you want a credit go to a store and ask for one". How about NO!!! How about your service stinks and I will no longer be using this service. PATHETIC!!!

7564 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Complete at 28 Dec 2010 07:08:41 PM
My Main issue is absolutely no coverage in my own home!
I live in Derrimut and most of the time if I do get coverage I have to either sit completely still so i don't lose it, or I have to put the phone on the table, have it on speaker and still not move so i don't interrupt the signal...
I am usually really happy if i have 2 bars of coverage in the house, but most of the time it goes between No Signal, and half a bar...
So sick of never being able to use my phone when i'm home...

Phone will not receive calls or txts most of the time for past 4-5 weeks. Vodaphone 1555 have offered to cancel contract without penalty because of chronic congestion in postcode 2905 and they won't be upgrading network in near future - they have yet to deliver on cancelling contract because of public holidays. It has cost me money because I am trying to run a small business.

I have been with Vodafone for 15 years and this is the worst service ever. I am over speaking to Lara the voice activated chick who doesn't listen and puts you through to the wrong area, then keeps you on hold for over 40 minutes. I have one of the first blackberry storms which is not a phone just a piece of technology that does nothing, can't txt, no reception, no internet and consistantly has no service. No one in store will help as they refuse to sell this phone, great customer service.

7557 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is Fail at 28 Dec 2010 07:06:25 PM
I have 2 phones joined to my account name and my pain commenced about 3mths ago!! Both phones were being used in 2 different areas of Adelaide with the same cpmplaint of no reception for hours at a time and text messages being received in bulk hours after they had been sent Vodafone were tellimg me it was the handsets which I could not really believe since they were not the same model phone but who was I to believe!? Hours on the phone on different days of the week for about 3 weeks we reset phone settings and many headaches later still for them not to have the connection I was paying for since both these phones are for my teenage sons they are actually my life line to them both. Finally they admitted it may be time for an upgrade so we did this about 4 weeks ago which was fine until about 2weeks ago and the pain has started again intermitten network again!! Then I saw this on the news last night and today tonight this evening so i thought I would join in and pass on my disappointment of paying for a service which Iam not receiving at the moment. Hope we can get this sorted out since I have also gone from $49 & $29 plans to 2 $69 plans hoping all would be good for the next 24months. Sue Elliott Greenwith S.A.

7552 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is No Internet connection at 28 Dec 2010 07:03:17 PM
No Internet connection either on my iphone or broadband, with numerous calls to vodofone overseas and a total of 5 wasted hours on to people who have no idea of whats going on, have actually come up with the problem is they are upgrading their tower and the problem should be fixed, well thats a joke as ever 3 months the same things happen, no internet connection, voicemail come thru a day after it was left, calls dropping out, etc. There other solution was to go and purchase a wi-fi signal booster (ha what the hell is that) its funny how unfortunately I have been with Vodafone for approx. 12 years (Yes Im a fool) that they now tell me the area where I live hasnt got a strong signal, they couldnt or wouldnt tell me that when I signed a new contract. Well counting down the days till my contact expires then over to Optus or Telstra.

We have payed off this phone through our contract but they don't seem to care that they have lost our property and still expect us to pay for the handset and calls under our contract. 7531 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is massive fail at 28 Dec 2010 06:54:07 PM
No longer with Vodafone as of December last year after being a customer for over 5 years, for the following reasons.

Previously i was residing on the Gold Coast, and Vodafone's coverage is only good if you live/visit the main CBD areas such as Southport and Surfers Paradise.

Unfortunately if you don't wish to succumb to the crap that regularly visits those areas for clubbing purposes, you have to put up with Vodafone's crappy coverage across the northern area which is where a lot of the development is happening.

I moved to Melbourne in 2008 and considering i was living 3km from the CBD in South Melbourne, i figured my coverage issues would be resolved - how wrong was i.

Living 3km from the city brought signal troubles where in certain areas of the house i could not even get signal, and more often than not my phone was hovering on 1 to 2 bars of signal strenth; this even with at a minimum 3 different types of mobile phones from varied manufacturers.

In addition to this, i also visited friends in varied locations around Melbourne, even as far as Pakenham.
In Pakenham specifically, i could not get any signal whatsoever - not even a small amount to receive SMS'.

I checked Vodafone's coverage map for all the areas in Melbourne where i visited - including Pakenham; i was surprised to learn that Vodafone falsely advertised their coverage for areas.
Pakenham was meant to get full 3G coverage - i wasn't even able to get 2G coverage.

Vodafone investigated the issues and came up with zero information regarding the coverage; as the coverage map falsely advertised coverage and my ability to use my mobile phone in areas i regularly visited, i was lucky enough to have my contract canceled without charge.

I have moved providers and have not looked back.

7527 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is not worth having a mobile at 28 Dec 2010 06:53:17 PM
living in a major mining town, you would expect that there would be service everywhere, But living 5 mins away from one of the main shopping centers there is (surprise surprise) no service. So why was it when I lived 45mins out of town I had better service ? ? OH thats right it was before I was tricked into believing vodafone had better service then telstra HA they are all a joke. Others just steep lower them other to get your money

7523 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Epic Fail at 28 Dec 2010 06:52:30 PM
1. Poor to no reception in many places, including my home (I live 15mins from the Perth CBD).
2. Calls go straight to voicemail without even ringing. Have had many occasions where family and friends have attempted to call me with my phone fully charged, yet I get no ringing, instead a msg saying I have a voicemail. If people do not leave a message, I do not receive any notification of them having called me.
3. Calls dropping out halfway through conversation
4. Had listed my mobile on my resume when I applied for several jobs. In the couple months, I never heard back from any, even to say I hadn't got the job. Decided I would use my dad's mobile who is with Telstra, got a call back from the first job and resume I sent out. I realize this may be purely coincidental but also could be related to vodafone as I have no way of finding out missed calls unless a voicemail is left.

since 3 changed to vodaphone, my phone drops out everytime someone rings me, I can not hear what they are saying & my husband needs his phone for work, which is very frustrating, messages come through late, I never even knew that 3 had changed & were now going through vodaphone towers instead of Telstra.
28 Dec 2010 09:30:18 PM: 3 and Vodafone are still separate networks, 3 still lease from TELSTRA, coverage issues are inherent with mobile phone networks and at any given time thousands of customers on any network are experiencing coverage issues.

7516 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is internet and phone call drop outs at 28 Dec 2010 06:49:50 PM
hello,
i am from sa in the noarlungs area and i have a pre paid service. i have been with vodafone for around 6 years and have really good service untill they decided to buy out the three network and then the problem started. i have been on severals time for around 40 mins each time sometime even longer. wen i first went to vodafone i had no probs service was really good customer service was good and overall vodfone was a good company.

but now i have got an iphone 3g and when people call they get an echoe of them selfs i get call drop out several time a day i have lost work due this problem as i a contrator i need my phone on at all times. i get internet drop outs at night where it wont even log on the net sometimes it will go on the net and it will drop out several time in one night and i sms dont get sent on time my battery life is shit i have to charge it 2-3 times a day and that is on standby most of the time. i have to keep it on the charger while i am making fone calls as it chews through the battery if i dont.

All this f..king shit has only happen since the bought out the 3 network. i used to recommend voadfone to people but now DONT F..KING TOUCH THEM WITH A TEN FOOT BARGE POLE... VODAFONE IS CRAP SERVICE IS CRAP AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE WELL THAT IS F..KED AS WELL............

7514 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is 4 at 28 Dec 2010 06:49:29 PM
where do I start. Firstly the many sms messages that people send me and I don't receive till the next day. Continued phone drop outs. The most painful is when I try to ring up and complain I like obviously many other people are put on hold for at least half an hour at which point I hang up and try again. Once Lara stuffing understands what the heck I am ringing up about and gets me through to the correct department I am on hold again for at least half hour at which point I give up or if I do get on I get an operator that can't understand what I am talking about and that tells me there is no problem with the network. The last straw for me is my daughter has just changed her mobile over to telstra. And, what a surprise I can't ring her anymore because I am with vodaphone. She can't receive any calls or txts from, you guessed it! Anyone on vodaphone. But of course when I finally got on to vodaphone about it after an hour, it was teltra's problem. As soon as my contract is up Im moving over to another provider for good.

my partner and i dont have a mobile phone with vodafone, instead we opted for the wirless internet. when we signed our contract, the sales man assured us that even though the reception in cairns was not optimal at the time it would be upgraded to the same speed and reception of other wireless broadbands on offer from telstra and optus within 3 months of us signing the contract. after 6 months and no upgrade we went back into the store, and they assured us that the upgrades were coming, that they had just been delayed, and that they should happen within the next 2 months. it has now been nearly 2 and a half years and our service still has not improved at all. if we are lucky we have about dial up speed. that is if we have a signal, and if the reciever doesnt forget that it is plugged in, (and my personal favorite) or we have reception and a device, but we have no upload or download speed, so the whole thing is useless. we have contacted vodafone by phone, and after being on hold for over an hour, i hung up. we contacted them by email, and recieved nothing, so finally we went back into the store, where the same man that sold us our contract and reassured us when we went back in to check on the progress of the upgrades, pretty much wiped his hands of us and said " too bad".

And if u think all of this is bad, u havent heard the best part. our contract was up at the end of august 2010. just before the end of the contract we contacted vodafone to inform them that we would not be renewing the contract. thinking that it was all said and done, we signed a new contract with telstra. appox 4 months down the track, we are informed by my partners bank that vodafone is still taking its direct debit each month, so we check and sure enough our device is still activated and working. the contract never ended. thinking that it must have been some kinda mix up, we go into the same cairns store (as there is only one in town) and ask them to not only end the contract, but stop the direct debit and refund our money that they have illegaly taken. (this is where it gets good) to which we were told that they dont have a clue which is our contrac as there is over 20 contracts for wireless internet in cairns issued with the same name as my partner, so not only could they not cancel the contract, they could not stop the direct debit and they could not refund the money essentially stolen. after another month of fighting with the company and getting no where, we cancelled our telstra contract as we can only afford one lot of internet a month, and we are stuck with this shit until someone pulls there fingers out and fixes the problem
28 Dec 2010 07:16:57 PM: Next time contact your bank and explain the situation and cancel the direct debit authorisation :)

I live on the Central Coast and in parts of my home i just simply cant get reception. I work as a driver in the Hunter Valley and 90% of the time i cant get reception. That means my clients have to leave messages for me, then when i get a few bars of reception i then have to call them back..... That cost me money! I am stuck in this contract until September 2011. I have been told by Vodafone that they are improving signals now for over 12 months and still nothing has changed. I've given up trying to call and complain because i can never tell "LARA" what exactly i want and i always get put onto the wrong department anyway. I cant wait until September 2011, i will be dropping Vodafone like a hot potato. In the last 12 months many of my friends have told me that they are looking at updating their phones and every time my advise to them has been... No matter what, stay away from Vodafone, they are totally Useless and thankfully, they have all listened. Anyway, thanks for the means for the "steam blow off" You guys are doing a good thing. 7511 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is shit at 28 Dec 2010 06:48:54 PM
My problems with vodafone started a year and a half ago, three months after i got a plan with them. First I asked to get my bills via mail as i did not have a computer at home, but i got them via email anyway, so i changed it again to get bills via mail. I still did not get any bills by email or mail at all. So i called them again to get the missing bills resent to me,by mail and email but still did not receive them. I would call them all the time asking where my bills where, and asked them to send them to me all the time, as i was not going to pay the bill if i could not see the bill, as i was on a $99 cap and they would tell me that my bill was over $150 and i could not work out how i would have gone over my cap that much, as i was very carefull and did not call people very much cause as i had free text messages. I received letters saying that they where going to take me to court for over $1500 of bills that i did not receive regardless all the contact i had with them over not getting my bills, so i would only pay the $99 to cover my cap, as i did not have any proof of what my bill was. I could never get onto the internet through my phone, all it would do was keep loading. I always had problems getting in touch with the right person in vodafone to discuss my problems, I was just getting put from one person to another over and over every time, or put on hold for very long periods of time. I am no longer with vodafone and have gone with optus prepaid, and i have never had a problem with them. My partner also is with vodafone and when he sends me a text i receive it up to 3 times, but he only sent once and has been charged for sending it 3 times, even though his phone indicates it sent once. When i send him a text he will receive a text i sent from weeks ago and he does not receive the one i sent him on that occassion until a few weeks later. So over a period of months he will finally receive the texts i sent him weeks ago. This is still happening every day and has got worse over the last six months. I still have my debt with vodafone and still have not received my bills. I am not going to pay the bill untill i receive it to check and see how it got so high. I wont the debt cleared, as this problem was not my fault.

7510 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is EXTREMELY at 28 Dec 2010 06:48:52 PM
So, living in Parramatta (only 3o mins from the Sydney CBD) i would have thought that reception and service would go hand in hand and that both would be exceptional, being that i live in the biggest city in Australia, oh how wrong ive been! Since commencing with Vodafone (after Optus screwed me over) i was assured that Vodafone was the company that could provide me with a great plan with generous limit ($139 unlimited cap) and outstanding service and reception. How wrong i have been! I signed a 24month contract (standard for the Telco industry) and have rued the day i contacted Vodafone. Since day 1, April 2010, i have never been able to use voicemail, even though i have been assured that it has been activated on my phone, which was great when i was in a dead end job and looking for another one! No voicemail, meant i had to continually call back numbers i didnt know! On top of this, my actual reception has been nothing short of sub standard. When i have 3G, i still may only have 2 or 3 bars of reception! I have contacted Vodafone on numerous occassions and have been assured that there was a "know issue in Sydney and it will be fixed shortly". So this must be a massive issue if its still persisting! As an avid iPhone user i have a large number of apps, which i use most daily, and yet being that reception is low or non-existent they take forever to load. Again i have contacted Vodafone and was told "theres no issues in your area, it must be you. There is no problem with out network". Well thanks for that India, but im sure that constantly resetting my phone and wanting to launch it off my sixth floor balcony means that there is an issue, but thanks anyway. So, this was after waiting on hold for 45mins! Then i was transferred from the technical team to the sales department. This time the young girl i got was actually able to speak english and actually understood what my problem was. Halelujah i thought, but when i asked if i could upgrade i was told that this was not possible as i was in a contract! So yeh, fun! Again i was told there was nothing wrong with the network or my phone, but if i felt the need i could purchase another handset! Yeh right!!! So, all care and no responsibility! I pay for a service that im really not getting. How is it Vodafone can afford to sponser the cricket (and the Australian teams performance is just as dismal as the Vodafone network) but can't fix the network that their millions of customers are forced to pay for. Service....i dont think they know what that word means!!! So, after many calls to Vodafone and nil result and still the poor service and reception im glad that finally the consumer has a way of being able to vent about what we are being forced to pay for! Im sure if i didnt pay by bill on time, Vodafone would be pretty quick to take action and disconnect my service!

I have been with vodafone for many years, and have had intermittent problems in NDW and now in Qld.
I received a Blackberry Storm last year through Vodafone - no signal in my house, out the front or in my street and very limited elsewhere. Change to Nokia E71, slightly better. Complained to Vodafone YET AGAIN, and was supplied with an iPhone. I don't get reception in my house. To call or send a message I have to go outside a d try for a signal. Many many drop outs. Receipt of text messages and phone messages days later. Too bad if there was an emergency! I have been to many different Vodafone stores with complaint and still nothing. I have a new iphone4 , but no reception, and no 3G

Places where I have not had reception

These are within the last 8 months and are from memory due to it leaving an imprint on my mind....

- Tathra (NSW)on holidays - whilst it may seem ok we had a fire in the van and needed to call out - awesome....
- Nowra - large portions that included my house in a residential area on the northern side and my work on the southern side
- Canberra (Northside and southside)numerous areas - mainly when trying to talk to my wife who works shift work and walks to her car in a poorly lit area at night and tries to call me so I can make sure she gets to her car safely...
- Wagga Wagga - anywhere outside of the main residential area
- Hume Highway outside of Sydney and Melbourne - what about if a car accident occurs in the majority of this highway - hopefully someone stops to help... and has "another providers" phone
- Western Australia - basically anywhere outside of Perth - which when there is no cars on the road ie. one every hour or so if you are lucky, a dual flat tyre and no phone is not that flash - not that much water around out there....

network covers 98% of Australia hey...... must be anywhere I don't go then

Hey guys this is nothing new for Vodafone. I was with Vodafone 12months ago and was experiencing the same coverage problems. After numerous calls to them I was getting nowhere until I contacted the Ombudsman. My contract at the time was only a couple of months old. Vodafone told me I couldn't cancel it without paying the balance of the contract, but after contacting the Ombudsman they soon changed their mind and I was able to get out of Vodafone, never to return. I know what everyone is going through, best of luck on any actions taken.

Calls would drop out to my daughter. I would ring with network bar on phone showing full network coverage however call would go to message bank. I complained many times to vodaphone and wasted countless hours waiting to talk to someone. Vodafone finally said it was a handset problem. Six months out from my contract ending they said i could get a new phone and sign up for another 24 months. Of course I would have to pay break costs. You guessed it my new phone has exactly the same problems, call drop outs, painfully slow data. They knew the problems and always denied it. They blatently sucked me in to another fucking 24 months with them. I feel cheated and will NEVER sign with vodafone again. I'm taking this further.

Plus my internet on my phone doesn't work half the time, I am restarting my phone several times a day. I had a broadband usb stick and it was worse than unwired and dodo! I called them several times, being on hold for an hr each time and after a week of 'investigating' they said there was nothing they could do about it. I returned it and now have blink which is run by optus and it is very fast. Oh and I live in Newtown so right near the city, and still no coverage.

7483 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is comletely useless at 28 Dec 2010 06:39:26 PM
I wrote this afternoon about my gripes with vodafone. On both my internet and mobile phone I am experiencing constant drop outs. Sometimes I just cannot connect at all. I rang the number they gave on "today tonight" to be put through that stupid woman asking you questions and not understanding what you want. Eventually I made her understand to be told to ring back tomorrow as all customer services were closed. Thanks again vodafone. I am paying for their service and am getting frustration for it.

7482 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Network constantly drops out and no coverage in capital cities like MEL and PER at 28 Dec 2010 06:39:03 PM
I am a 3 customer which I believe is now owned or in business with Vodafone. I live in Clayfield and when I drive into my garage or even move around in my unit talking on my phone It drops out. 3's answer is it's the IPhone that is causing the problem. They tell me to turn off my phone andthat should fix it. It is also extremely frustrating not being able to speak to someone in Australia. The call centre is in India, they all say the same thing when u call and it's not getting any better. While typing this the network dropped out. Grrrrrrrrr.

7481 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is HI I'm Lara, sorry i didnt quite catch that, LETS TRY AGAIN at 28 Dec 2010 06:38:49 PM
I have a tower across the road, Full bars most of the time, random hours with full reception, I can't call out, people can't call me, CONNECTION ERROR, BUT MIRACULOUSLY, I can call 1555 wait on hold for 2 hours and have some lady ask me how the weather is in Australia, then tell me there is no problem with the network it must be a problem with my phone and my other phone and my wifes phone and my sisters phone and my cousins phone and my mates phone, maybe we should all try turning our phones off and cleaning the sim card and turning the phones back on.

7479 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is About as much use as a trap door in a canoe!! at 28 Dec 2010 06:38:35 PM
Moved from the uk 18 months ago where I had a phone with vodafail. So when I landed here I stupidly thought I would stay loyal.God what a foobar that was!!Lived in Qld for most of the 18 months then moved to WA because of work.Drove all the way across and can count the times on 2 fingers I had reception.I now lived on 90kms outside Perth and the amount of times my calls are dropped or I have no reception at all is to put it mildly totally pathetic and unacceptable from a firm that takes $80 a month off me.Worst of all is that Ive got another year to run on my contract!!!I will go crazy!!

7478 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is complete rubbish at 28 Dec 2010 06:38:28 PM
I send text messages and people get a blank text, and i still get charged. Vodafone on the several times I rang them told me they had never heard of this before, funny I have heard it is a common problem from other vodafone users. Regularly drops out, when I tell vodafone they tell me that cannot be true, where you live has coverage !. So fed up with Vodafone, the agent who sold me the phone said they have have no ability to cancel my contract. Have wasted hours and hours trying to sort this, going to the store, on the phone to India.........

7477 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Couldn't return Modem at 28 Dec 2010 06:38:09 PM
I had zero Broadband coverage in a 'full service' and attempted to return the modem the following day after 2 hours talking to India. 3 trips to the local dealer and 4 hours on the phone being shunted around and I was finally sent a return envelope which went the day it arrived. Bills kept coming ...more trips and phone calls. I was then accused of NOT sending it back. I had to prove with a receipt the package had been sent. Vodafone finally cancelled my account but we still get statements saying they owe us money. They lost me and everyone I know very quickly.
