Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

I'm a senior manager from one of Vodafones biggest corporate customers and we can't get reception at our largest manufacturing site in country Vic. It's truly laughable. I tried contacting my PA on her mobile on my way to a function on the 23rd for 25 minutes and couldn't get through. I had to turn around and go home as I had no idea where I was supposed to be and as the sole company representative at a supplier function it made me appear unprofessional. I'm going to pressure our services team to attempt to break our corporate contract with Vodafone as soon as we're back from Christmas leave. The terms of a telecommunications contract are quite straightforward. I'm confident that Vodafone are in violation of that contract.

4844 Someone from ACT thinks vodafone is Very Fail at 27 Dec 2010 07:24:06 PM
During the sales process Vodaphone boasted to have 'the largest mobile phone network in the world', though this is true, I have come to learn they probably have the worst coverage on offer in Australia.
I am on their $120 per month unlimited contract (I often go over somehow) and i could easily prove to have more than 60 calls drop out per month. Not the service I would expect being in the 'top tier' payment bracket.
I have never complained feeling that it would fall on deaf ears, as it has in the past. But now seeing that i am not alone in my frustration, would like to throw my support and story behind this movement.

Locked in 24 month contract. I work full days which means my phone is in my bag all day, by the time i finish it is flat! ( i dont even get to use it ) . My signal continually drops out and have no service and ends my calls! I hate vodafone but have no way out!
4839 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is enter swear word here! at 27 Dec 2010 07:23:22 PM
the reception was horrible everywhere we went. There were numerous amount of business text messages that I did not get or they were hours sometimes days late! In the end both my husband, myself, my mother and my son all swapped companies...
4838 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Terrible at 27 Dec 2010 07:23:18 PM
No reception at home other than two places where I get one bar of reception, visitors on other networks have no reception issues. Calls often take forever to connect or won't connect at all, even if I have good reception. Calls drop out regularly. Voicemails come through days after they've been left on my phone.
4837 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is No reception & poor service at 27 Dec 2010 07:23:15 PM
I have been with vodafone for a few years and was ok until the last couple of months where I started to get call drop outs and an inability to access my data. Trying to contact vodafone for a resolution is just ridiculous, after trying to call and being told there was a wait time of an hour I used their email complaints facility and though they say that you must respond within 120 or they close the job apparently they have no such time restraint, and when finally I had a response I was told to give 3 calls that dropout within the last 72 hours I said I couldn't since I had started to use my work phone (optus) as it was more reliable. I have contacted the TIO and am still waiting for a resolution. Don't call them for advice either, you'll be transferred between departments all of which want to blame your phone, and tell you that the reception in your area should be ok - well its not, hence the reason for my call!!! Still cannot believe that they pride themselves on their service, I would hate to see how they viewed bad service.
4836 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Extreme Fail! at 27 Dec 2010 07:23:06 PM
My signal keeps dropping out and has done for weeks! I rely on my phone to communicate with my teenage daughter (also Vodafone) - It's just not good enough - the world is not safe to let your kids go with no means of contacting them - VERY ANGRY!! Tried to call customer services and was cut off after 20 mins on hold :-/

4833 Someone from Somewhere else thinks vodafone is I've moved on at 27 Dec 2010 07:23:01 PM
A New Zealander who works in WA and commutes home every couple of weeks for a week off. Had Vodafone in regional NZ. Coverage was very poor and data very intermittant. I had to call customer support a couple of times and was very unimpressed getting charged to call support! (they were not very helpful either)
I have since changed to 2 degrees in NZ. Vodafone is not in Newman where I work thankfully so I use Telstra NextG although they arent perfect either. There are so many users here and infrastructure hasnt kept up so data speed is crap.

4832 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Below average at 27 Dec 2010 07:22:55 PM
My husband is with telstra and he rarely has reception problems. Me on the other hand is constantly left without reception both in the metro area and regional area (my phone is pretty much useless out of Perth metro!). We saw Bon Jovi at Subiaco in early December and neither my sister in law (also with vodafone) had ANY reception for almost the entire concert! One of the biggest business districts out of the CBD and we have no reception for 2 hours. Just not acceptable.
4831 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Like a gangrenous limb at 27 Dec 2010 07:22:32 PM
Like everyone else my complaints are the perfunctory, condescending & unhelpful customer service [when you can actually get through to a real human being] & the extremely poor network reception & drops outs in a major population area of Western Sydney. They are clearly not fulfilling their side of the SFOA [Standard Form of Agreement] - i.e the contract. If I had known how bad they are I would never have signed up - be warned all those who are considering them. They are terrible! Even the staff in the retail stores are not very helpful.
4830 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is No Reception at 27 Dec 2010 07:22:16 PM
Using Vodafone's network, I am frequently without reception and frequency experience 'drop-outs' in Sydney's CBD (e.g. Martin Place), the inner west (e.g. Balmain, Leichhardt) and in Sydney's south (e.g. Cronulla, Caringbah). I have been paying in excess of $120 a month for a service which fails to meet a consistent level of quality. I have logged complaints but, nothing has improved.
4829 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Pathetic at 27 Dec 2010 07:22:16 PM
I run my own business, have constant drop outs, call failures, text messages that take 3 days to arrive, and voice messages that can take up to 36 hours to come through to my phone. No one at Vodaphone would confirm there was a problem, and even the dealer said that things will get better - over 12 months ago - if anything they got worse and when I was complaining to him about it the call dropped out yet again. I was trying to access the internet last night and it took 8 minutes to download a page, my friend next to me took 18 seconds - he's with Telstra - Goodbye Voda - I'm off to Telstra and taking my friends with me.
27 Dec 2010 07:24:03 PM: I agree, I have problems receiving voicemail messages as well. In the past, it has taken over 36hrs to receive a voicemail message from one of my superiors at work. Needless to say, he was not impressed with me or my story.
4828 Someone from ACT thinks vodafone is Absolute failure at 27 Dec 2010 07:22:06 PM
Plenty has been said about Vodafone's appalling network. The only thing to exceed it (in a negative sense) is there telephone support. I have spent hours on the phone stating the bleedin' obvious only to be lied to, jerked around, and disconnected. They're united team when they're selling you something and are happy to facilitate, transfer you, do whatever, but if you have a problem,
"I'm sorry you've called the wrong area, you'll have to call someone else". And don't get me started on f***ing 'Lara'. I have already change companies so I'm no longer affected. My memories of God-forsaken Vodafone are so traumatic that I will never use them again, even if they fix things.

I am a happy 3 customer after being a very unhappy vodafone customer for too many years, so I am now dreading the 3, vodafone merge. Messages not delivered, unbelievable waiting times for what they call "customer service" and actually speaking to a real person, pfft! In the end, after my son was told the recharge he was trying to use, had already been used, i ended up also switching him to another provider, $29 down the drain. This site is a godsend, I've vented to so many people its not funny! I would like to see them go down, and 3! what are you thinking with this merge??
4826 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is poor reception at 27 Dec 2010 07:21:55 PM
I have made several complaints about the POOR reception after been a customer for years and putting up with it, I brought a new phone costing over $200 thinking this would help the issue NO such luck.. When spoke to vodafone after hours on hold (another issue) only to be told the coverage is poor in my area but at the moment I need to deal with it and they will fix it, yes but when.. I dont seem to get the answer for that.. Its hard when you pay the account every month and you cant use the phone as the calls are always dropping out.. very frustrating.. vodafone need to fix the reception issue I never had this problam when they were just vodafone but now they are linked to the 3 network the coverage is crap..
4825 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is POOR at 27 Dec 2010 07:21:41 PM
My Blackberry sits in SOS 90% of the time in suburbia, where other networks have full coverage. Ive been with vodafone for 6 years, but this past year has been hell! Dropped calls, no reception, missing important client calls, missing important family calls, calls going through to voicemail without the phone ringing. Intermittently dropping calls midway then sitting in SOS until I remove the battery pack. Im absolutely P****d off. Im glad I know now, every vodafone customer is having a hell of a time. Some sort of compensation is required. I will definitely be switching carriers as soon as my contract ends.

Its a big shame for a giant company like vodafone to be this lazy and disappointing.I come from a third world country but at least they have networks that work and definately better networks than Vodafone.

4821 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Major Fail! at 27 Dec 2010 07:21:02 PM
Todd- Central Caost-I have a Vodafone A/C that I got for my wife (mother inlaw & Bro In Law also with VF and have same issues), I only get her about a third of the time, no reception all too often and calls often drop out anyhow when I do get her! can't win...was previously with 3, reception has definitiely got worse over recent months, and 3 continue to charge me (twice now have had to waste time on phone chasing refunds) even though I am no longer a customer of their- affilliate companies- equally as bad!
4820 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is WORSE THAN 3!! at 27 Dec 2010 07:20:45 PM
I was with Vodafone for about 6 months with a prepaid mobile. I discovered the network coverage was worse than 3! I switched to Virgin and am very happy with my service now. I ALWAYS have coverage no matter where I am in Perth and it's suburbs. I will never go back to Vodafone as they wasted my time and money. For all of you who are stuck in a contract with Vodafone I feel your pain. It was just as frustrating and upsetting when I was stuck in a contract with 3 but could not call anyone and/or my sms's would take 3 hours or more to reach it's destination. Vodafone had better step up, take responsibility and not only fix all it's network issues, but compensate the people who are currently with their network or I can see a LOT of people walking away from their company altogether.
4819 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is at 27 Dec 2010 07:20:25 PM
Vodafone have failed many times with call drop outs, late text message delivery, no internet conection. Long waits to get through to customer service I rang 3 times the other day on hold for 25 mins each time only to be hung up on 3 times then the laugage barrier with staff. Terrible service and I am one hundred percent over it.
4818 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Huge fail at 27 Dec 2010 07:20:19 PM
I went to a friends house today and only way of getting in the house is through the garage. So what one does is call the phone to notify you're there and then he opens the door for you. Well, i tried for a good 10 minutes to call his phone, but it wouldn't even connect. It was absolutely bucketing outside so i wasn't going to leave my car. I ended up honking the horn till he came out and saw i was out there. I also sent him a text message, thinking he may receive that and he did receive it, 3 hours later when i was already comfortable on the lounge, watching a bit of tv. and then later in the afternoon he sent me two texts (we're actually both with vodafone) and i didn't receive them until 4 hours later. what an absolute joke. I live in the CBD and in my house i have limited reception. I have to wander around the house until i find a spot and if i want to make a call, that's where i have to remain. It's pathetic. Enough is enough.

Tried to make a call today but no reception. Then saw I had one bar so made call to Foxtel when my Foxtel went down. (Couldn't use landline as that needed to be kept clear for Foxtel tech). Calls dropped out on numerous occasions and then there was no coverage again. Cost me a great deal in calls and FRUSTRATION (if you've ever called Foxtel you'll know what I mean). Had no idea this was happening Aust wide when I took out 2 year plan for my new phone last month. I want out of my contract.

4811 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is a total waste of my time and money at 27 Dec 2010 07:18:43 PM
I was living in an area in the Northern Suburbs where is was not possible to have broadband internet connected via the phone line. I chose vodafone mobile broadband as their plans were the most suitable and affordable for my needs. I would have been better off with a dial-up service. At first I thought it was my old laptop which was the problem, but after upgrading to a top of the range new laptop, the problems with reception and connection speed persisted. i have now discontinued my pre-paid mobile broadband plan and have taken up with Vivid Wireless. I just wish Vivid Wireless was available when I first looked at mobile services.
Don't waste your time with Vodafone mobile broadband. There are much better options out there.

I tried to cancel my contract (at contract end) due to bad reception in the area. As I am French speaking the computer does not understand my commands and you cannot get through to an operator who could assist. Vodafone shops cannot assist as they only sell contracts, not cancel contracts. How ridiculous is this situation ???
4809 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Vodaarrogant at 27 Dec 2010 07:18:31 PM
Vodafail management ignored all my calls for help. They said that my call dropout problem, poor reception and my delayed SMS's (some up to 4 hours late) were just my imagination and I should stop winging. Because of them my pet puppy "Frisky" died yesterday when she was injured and it took me 2 hours to call our vet. That's heartless and vodaarrogant!
4808 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is FAIL at 27 Dec 2010 07:18:28 PM

Complaints to the customer service keep you on the phone for hours, (as if you dont have a life and can afford that time wastage.) And once you finally get to speak to a real person you rae put through this series of questions as though you are technologically illiterate.
As for the labyrinth of automated voice menus before you can speak to a person.....for goodness sake.
I just bought the cafepress Vodafail Tshirt. Perhaps that might make me feel better for a little while.

We are another with Crazy John's, coverage is with vodafone. Got sent a text message, which I didn't get until we were driving away from the shopping centre which was about 10 mins after the text had been sent. Then coverage drops out about 10kms out of a major surburban area, which in turn makes my phone turn on & off. Seriously doubt will be resigning with them. Why can't the government do more, isn't this really a breach of contract on their part?

And at the end of all this they dont bloody help you anyway, they always seem to have some bullshit excuse not to help ya! SO VODAFONE CAN KISS MY BUTT! To make matters worse they suckered me in to some shock proof phone that i dropped on the carpet and it cracked the screen. shock proof my ass, when they were signing me up they said it was all under warranty and now they wont even look at it, cheers vodafone

My wife and I both have vodafone with Blackberry plans and our reception constantly keeps dropping out. We have made several complaints via telephone and several vodafone shops and we keep getting told that things will improve and that the interuption is due to them upgrading their system. However they could never explain why one of us will have reception and at the same time, the other one will have no reception, and all of this has been going on for the last three to four months while vodafone keeps assuring us that this disruption will only be for a week or so. Sounds like a company who knows their stuff huh?

We signed up for 2 year internet plan, after a bout 1 1/2 stuffed up or billing with a letter stating they had issues and it would be fixed. We then didnt get service for a few weeks when ring the 'Help' desk they told us our direct debt failed which they then sorted out after i stated we got a letter from them to say it was there fault. We then stopped getting a service and bill when ringing again we were told we had insufficant funds which was totally not the case, we then received a debt collection letter stated we owed $300 dollar for a service they had not given us, all they could say is insufficant funds (we would earn more in a week then they would get in a year!!!)

Not told when signing up to an iPhone contract for 24 months that Vodafone doesn't receive a 3g signal in the suburb I live in (ACT 2905) and will require the assistance of a wireless booster. Vodafone's solution switch to 2g coverage while I'm at home which is painfully slow. Phone constantly drops out on phone calls, wont receive voicemail messages for a couple of days after they were left. I was on hold to my bank for 30 minutes and half way through a loan application I completely loss reception and dropped out. I have complained to Vodafone but their trouble shooting steps are unreasonable as they require another iPhone to compare with.

4796 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Not too bad... but! at 27 Dec 2010 07:17:05 PM
I had an I phone with Vodafone for a year in melbourne, I actually had no network issues, and the phone worked okay in Ballarat.
However, the customer service was a nightmare! I left vodafone to upgrade to the 3GS earlier this year and switched to OPTUS. I asked for a final account and waited. And waited. And got one after three months showing that vodafone owed me about $40. So I sent an e-mail to the big V that took a week to be answered, saying that the e-mail team can't do a refund! So I tried the phone team, spent a while on hold and finally got through. After a 15 minute argument I was told that it would take 6 weeks to send me a cheque for the money, no interest would be applied and if I didn't like it someone would contact me. I asked the guy to get anyone to call me back to explain the 6 week delay for a cheque, noone ever has. Small fry I know but bloody annoying!

I too share the same troubles as everyone else out there. My phone has very bad reception, cuts out and the times I have rang Vodafone, I am on hold for at least an hour and by the time you do get through, you get hung up on before you even get to say a word. I ended up contacting the store where I purchased my phone and vented my frustrations on the manager. I have regreted the day I signed up with them and so want out!!!
4794 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is FAIL at 27 Dec 2010 07:16:50 PM
The service is appalling. Drives my friends and family crazy that my phone is unavailable or keeps dropping out, important texts arent sent and I receive important voicemails days late. Complaints to the customer service keep you on the phone for hours, (as if you dont have a life and can afford that time wastage) and you Are put through this series of questions as though you are technologically illiterate. As for the labyrinth of automated voice menus before you can speak to a person.....for goodness sake. I just bought the cafepress Vodafail Tshirt. Perhaps that might make me feel better for a little while.

4790 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is stuffed at 27 Dec 2010 07:15:42 PM
I purchased an LG KM900 vodafail branded phone a couple years ago on their $49 plan and in the suburb I live in, (Marrickville), I could not get any reception.
I had to ring their customer care number on my parents landline and all I was told (by their OS staff in India) was to reset the phone and voila you will now have signal.
I replied no its still the same and the indian dude tells me to make my calls from ouside the house as reception in "buildings" is not guaranteed. I said maybe you would care to come here and step outside to sort this abomination out.
In frustration I called their customer care number again the next day and got a local. I advised them of the problem and that I wished to rescind the contract due to no reception.
Surprising they were ok with this and I simply had to payout the handset if I wished to retain it but the contract was cancelled as it should be.
I then switched to 3 as a mate of mine lent me his sim card to test and reception in my area was perfect with this carrier. So far I have been with 3 but since the merger with vodafail so far reception has been fine, should it change in the future then Optus will be my next choice.
Good luck with the website and class action, its much needed.

4788 Someone from ACT thinks vodafone is prepaid and internet at 27 Dec 2010 07:15:29 PM
I am a single parent and cant afford a contract. Vodafone promised a prepaid service to which I would be able to use as little as $10 to recharge my mobile phone and internet so I wouldn't have to use money from my food bills to keep in touch with family and friends around the world. I have had to spend alot more then just $10 to keep these items running as they didn't tell me that I would need more then $10 to be able to finish my schooling. Being on a tight budget I can no longer afford to recharge my internet for school so I have had to stop. I feel like I have failed because the service provider is trying to bleed me dry.
4787 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is disappointing at 27 Dec 2010 07:15:26 PM
I have just changed over from 3 to Vodafone, with the promise that Vodafone has much better coverage for where I am in Western Australia. Unfortunately, especially over the Christmas period, my phone keeps cutting out. There have been cases of up to 15 times in which it has occured during one phone call. Being away from family means the use of my phone is very important and I don't like the fact that I can't have a proper conversation without the service cutting out!!!!

i have been with Vodafone for 10 years in tas and have never had a problem. Dont see what the fuss is about.....(and no i don't work for voda/am not Nigel Dews/have better things to do with my life than sit bitching about a telco.....)
28 Dec 2010 07:53:03 AM: But you sit here defending them! You're a tosser. Maybe YOU don't know what the fuss is about, who cares! There's hundreds/thousands who know EXACTLY what the fuss is about.
28 Dec 2010 07:45:45 PM: Let me get this straight, because a person states they have never had a problem and are not sure what the fuss is about they are a tosser ( as you so nicely put it) and that there are hundred's/thousands who know exactly what the fuss is about. Only some of those hundreds/thousands have a REAL problem or issue, the others just jump on the band wagon cause they like the sound of their own voice. Just a note, this site is not just for failures but as stated above by the creator it is for ANY comments, show some respect and let people have their say regardless of whether it is positive or negative.

I have no reception on my vodafone phone when I'm at work in Yandina. I also have a work Telstra mobile and this works fine in Yandina. Vodafone need to sort their coverage issues out. What's the point in having a mobile for emergencies when it's unlikely to have coverage when you need it most!!!!
4780 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Fail = understatement at 27 Dec 2010 07:14:27 PM
-never any reception
-calls constantly drop out
-attempt to make calls = call failed/straight to message bank (lets hope im not ever in a compromising situation where i need to dial emergency because i'm sure id be long dead before actual connection)
-text messages delayed... sometimes by up to 12 hours
-internet coverage = inconsistent, rarely works
-when you're feeling frustrated and annoyed you try and vent some of this frustration with customer care, lara is never very helpful and neither are the impatient foreigners who i can never understand with those heavy accents. Call is often redirected 5 or 6 times before you actually express your frustration to the right person (by then your blood is boiling and youve told your story so many times youre considering recording yourself so you can just press play incase they decide to redirect your call AGAIN)
-telstra is looking very good right now
ps - hats off to whoever created this - playing the role of activist complainer can be so very empowering

We have been with vodafone since july 2010, and in this short time i have had nothing but slow data issues with wireless internet, dropping in and out all the time. Poor reception on mobile phone there have been times where i havent been able to reach my partner cause of poor reception issues. We pay alot of money for this service and everytime you call vodafone the lines are static, the customer service officers are rude and you can barley understand them. We live in an area in NSW where, if you are on the Optus or Telstra network, you have excellent mobile phone coverage. However, if you are on the Vodafone network you get one bar at the best of times.
My phone can be on the lounge next to me, not ring because there is not enough coverage but I will then get a message saying I have a voicemail message. WTF?!!
If I want to be able to hear the person on the other end of the line and not have the phone call cut out I have to go outside.
Vodafone: you are the worst network ever! Another customer lost!
Don't try calling Vodafone to complain... unless you have a day to waste and you speak another language.

All of a sudden, I was at home about 2 months ago, my phone was down to 1 or 2 cells. Not too sure if its Vodafone only as I am having issues with my BOB iiNet wireless as well - keeps cutting in and out. My postcode is 2093. My other pain about Vodafone is that I keep getting an old tenant's mobile bills in the mail. Its hard to contact a real person @ Vodafone (Lara is not included as a real person believe it or not)to get this changed however after about 30-45 min wait, I got the call centre in India and tried to explain the situation. I thought I got the message across then I received the same monthly bills - no change. Could I be bothered to call again? I think not! Maybe they want no resolution??

I lost so much business over the last 12 months due to such poor service from vodafone. this website has made me realise that the customer take further steps. I pay over $500/month in bills. I deserve better

4753 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is blatantly overcharging even though never went over cap at 27 Dec 2010 07:07:59 PM
during my 2 year contract with vodafone $69 cap - would usually not even use the allocated amount of calls during each monthly billing period..this went on for over 14 months - then, for some reason - still not explained by vodafone my monthly bills would spike to anywhere between $260 - $370 dollars... i phoned and tried to explain that i never made that many calls, and that my past usage was always within or below the cap amount - to no avail...they were not interested...however, the very next month, after having complained in 'strong language' to the staff member, my monthly bill was once again down to the $70 amount...however, every 2nd or 4 month - it would be up again. vodafone staff not interested in doing anything about it...i also saw a charge for almost $22 for a 1223 number (which is for directory assistance for locating a phone number - and it usually only takes a minute or two) yet vodafone staff were not interested in following up with this query when i asked them to explain why my bill showed this amount - and as they issued the invoice and kept all records of all calls made and received - it would be a simple matter to correct this mistake - result: a big fat nothing - no action at all. pathetic service considering the market vodafone has - why is not there a duty to step up and provide a necessary service in this day and age. surely that is not an unreasonable request. thank you for setting up this site.

Without fail when I am taking an important phone call, or any phone call for that matter, reception cuts in and out and I lose the call which is more frustrating when its from a private number and I cant call them back, I have rung vodafone and never talk to a competent english speaking person, and all they say is they need proof of me not getting reception in that area and they will get it upgraded. But it isnt just one area, is 75% of places that I go or visit, even my own house, i get limited or no reception. Fcuking useless bastards.

4749 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is so far off the fail meter at 27 Dec 2010 07:06:29 PM
So funny to read despite the thousands of complaints growing on this site, Vodafone was worried about their logo being used on the Facebook page. Just shows where their head is, not only Vodafone but it's time big businesses have to be accountable for their dwindling quality of product.
Got out of my 3 contract after I heard Vodafone bought 3 out. Best decision I made.

4748 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is No support at 27 Dec 2010 07:06:27 PM
I recently changed over to $79.00 plan which excluded voice mail but included receiving Voice mail via a text message which is fine with me as I don't get many voice messages. On receiving my last bill being $90.42 I queried this as it obviously was not the $79.00 plan I changed over to. So I rang Vodafone and had to wait 34 minutes before I got someone. On explaining my problem he confirmed that Vodafone were having some technical issues and as a goodwill gesture he would reimburse me $10.00 I complained saying if the issue is YOUR end I should be reimbursed $11.42 But I wasn't going to quibble about $1.42 so I said fine. So then I am instructed to hold so as he can switch me to another department who is authorized to reimburse this amount. So as he switches me through I GET DISCONNECTED!!! I am FUMING I called back 20 minutes ago and am AGAIN waiting as I write this to speak to a real person ... and every 60 seconds I get this recorded message(with commercials peppered throughout) of a gir's voice saying "Hang in there we'll be with you real soon." This above incident is one of many - But it's the one too many. Once I get this resolved I am dropping Vodafone for ever and changing carriers. It is now 25 minutes and still waiting ... GOOD RITTENS VODAFONE!!!
4747 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is very poor reception at 27 Dec 2010 07:06:26 PM
Very disppointed, just signed a two year contract, was told reception is excellent in area. Only reception is in corner of our bedroom nothing in the rest of the house and we are both on call for our jobs, so it is essential that we are contactable.
