Dear visitor,
Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant
contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced
by Vodafone customers.
Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders.
You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.
Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.
More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly.
Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints.
The site will remain online for as long as possible as a
reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.
It has been a privilege to run this initiative
and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In
particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their
continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.
You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.
Until next time,
Adam Brimo

I have been having so much trouble with VF. They gave me the run around last year before I was going overseas about lodging faults, resetting my handset and sending me a new sim card. I found out whilst overseas when the s__t hit the fan and it was all over the news that this is the rubbish they are telling customers when they are fully aware of the faults that are present.
I have since came back from overseas and the data on my phone still sometimes won't work and I lose 3G reception all the time and I had a call failure while I was ringing 1555. VF still don't know how to unlock my iphone for me and even told me to go to the Apple store and ring them back from there. At the end of the conversation they told me to call them back tomorrow morning to try and unlock my phone as there were no iphone support staff working at the time I called last night.
The latest and best bit so far, is the new sim card they sent me which I activated last night at 6pm was to take around an hour to become active and I was to use it when the old sim stopped working. It's 10:30am the next morning and I am still using my original sim.
I have so many complaints about VF that it would take me forever to write down but I have everything documented and will be lodging a complaint with the TIO monday morning, with all my notes.

I moved to Rockhampton from N.S.W. Central coast. I have gone from ok coverage to nothing at all and they wanted me to keep paying my bills for a service I was not recieving. I went to the TIO and they told me I had to keep paying my bill. I want to get out NOW
9 Jan 2011 10:19:15 AM: So do a LOT of their customers, and unfortunately you are not top of the queue. I'm certain some of their problems are caused by THEIR programming errors. This might speed up the process as the TIO notices a pattern developing.

I posted below at 11209 re incorrect number displaying and phone not ringing.
After about 4 hours I got a call back from Vodafone - well rather my switched on phone, full reception, sitting beside me phone got a voicemail. Could not use the return call (was a mobile number) feature in voicemail. About an hour later I got another call (private number) which came through.
Got a guy with a strong Indian accent and barely understandable.
Was told it was a phone issue and to try my SIM in another handset. Told him I did not have another handset so he told me I'd have to go and buy a new one!!!! And until I had done this step they could not raise it as a technical issue. I told him that I was unable to complete the set and I was well aware it was a service issue. So all he says is, yes I understand you cannot complete that step and I can raise it as a technical issue but I need you to first try a different handset ARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!
Thankfully I am on prepaid and I've inherited and iPhone which arrives tomorrow and that's going on the corporate plan we have with Telstra and I'm saying goodbye to 10 years of loyalty to Vodafone.

11299 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Tricky fingers! at 9 Jan 2011 08:09:02 AM
Hi everyone. Vodafone have failed in ALL aspects of delivering a trouble free service. I have had to spend countless hours trying to get them to fix mistakes/inaccurate information etc ... tiring, FRUSTRATING & UN-professional! In November 09, I received a leaflet in the mail with an optional phone upgrade since 12 months of my contract had pasted. I took up the offer as the only main difficulty I'd had with their service at that point was contacting them with LONG DRAWN out WAITING periods. I took the brochure to my local V/office & they had NO information about it on their system - were checking the leaflet closely to determine if it was legit. I waited for hours whilst Voda contacted itself going through all the usual hoops & loops as I have in the past, in order to make sense of this offer. It took them 2 days to sort it out one office blaming the other whilst there was NO consolidation for the customer - ME. First phone they gave me (once all sorted) had a torn seal I noticed with a new one covering the broken. I rang again to further complain & was told that it may have been opened to show a customer - it wouldn't have been used before tho. Well, it wouldn't work, it was a faulty handset, I had to take it back to V in order to prove my point (blood boiling at this point). A new handset was eventually offered - seals all intact & now the problem is the signal strength. It drops out of coverage ALL the time, & downloading apps is virtually impossible due to the signal strength. I also tried & signed up with their Internet service after a week or so of complaining on the phone that the their was a Problem with the USB (endless calls & so called guidance from their Techsperts) they deemed it faulty also & sent a POST packet to return device - all I had to do was save a sticker for confirmation that I had posted it. They didn't cancel that plan tho as I had requested in the "cooling off" period & I then started to receive charges for a service I was NEVER able to use & had disconnected. They said, "we never received the USB back" & required information relating to receipt of re-postage. I had followed their instructions to the fine print and they KEPT STATING I HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG. AFTER EXPLODING on the phone to a supervisor they looked into the matter & released me from that contract - but at a HUGE cost & time allocation to me.
I WANT OUT OF MY CURRENT CONTRACT (PHONE). I DEEM THEM UNFIT TO PROVIDE A HASSLE FREE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE - THEY ARE GROSSLY INCOMPETENT IN ALL AREAS AND IT'S TURNING OUT TO BE A VERY STRESSFUL & COSTLY EXPERIENCE TO MYSELF. I haven't listed ALL V's faulty/shonky behaviour either - believe me when I say there IS more to write about, however I can only unravel so much at a time before I get REALLY ANNOYED & need to take a breather.
Best of luck to all in trouble with V - persevere & GET THE HECK OUT OF THEIR CLUTCHES!!!!!! Remember - freedom is at the end of their dark tunnel!

Have been trying to figure out why my "My Vodafone' online account username has been disabled... Have been trying to sort out the problem for about 2 months now. It happened in September but somehow resolved itself in a few days without me having to do anything. Have sent through an email but keep getting automatic replies. The last one wanted information to make sure that it was my account. Decided that I didn't want to give my passport number, driver's licence details or 4 digit pin to an automated reply. Trying to contact customer care resulted in a minimum wait of 45min over 3 phone calls. Gave up and tried to go in store in Geelong. The staff huffed and puffed when I asked for help (I was the only one in the store at the time) then with a minimum amount of help told me it wasn't there area and they couldn't do anything.
Going to try to contact customer service again tomorrow as I'm still not able to get online as all...

I have been a loyal Vodafone customer for nearly 8 years, and I can still remember when Vodafone had fantastic customer service and great reception. I actually used to get calls from Vodafone to check up and see if everything was OK. Of late, you'd be lucky to get through to an operator in less than an hour of waiting on hold!
Now let's not get started with the reception! I have noticed a steady decline in coverage since around 2 years ago. I run an IT company and travel all around Sydney. I have zero reception in a high apartment in Homebush, and zero reception in Alexandria in my office. This means any time I'm at home or work, I have zero reception! Home/Office would account for around 70% of my time so that means missed calls and lost revenue from jobs I could have taken on! Even out and about, I call 20 times in a row and kept getting the dreaded 'Call Failed' message! This is with full reception!
Vodafone's 'broadband' speed is a friggen joke! It's seriously slower than dialup when it works, and that's probably only half the time.
Vodafone get your shit together, as a mobile phone company we as your customers expect our phones to work when we need it, not when it suits you! Not much of a 'contract' when Vodafone doesn't fulfill its end of the bargain!

I have a tower 1.7 kms from my house to the east and another tower 2.8 kms to the south of my house yet when I activate my cell info display it is connected to a tower 17kms away from where I live, no wonder I get no reception at home, but if i go 200 metres down the street it tunes into a close one !!! Why is that Vodacrap ?????

Pay $50 online today to get my favorite fone unlocked from Vodacrap only to fond out the unlock code doesnt work, mongrels took my money tho, tryed unlock code twice, now to scared to try it again incase my fone is blocked completely, This happened once before with a different fone and I was told I would have to send it away at my expense to have it unlocked and there was no guarantee they could unlock it anyway.....
9 Jan 2011 08:11:28 AM: If it is a Nokia mobile there is software around which can reset the counter which records the number of unlock attempts. I have used it.
9 Jan 2011 10:21:17 AM: There is also software online to unlock it for free.

Signal was ok on my iPhone 3GS in Melbourne, moved to Wollongong, NSW and 3G coverage is basically zero! Network team are "looking into my issues" but unless they are going to build a load more towers and quickly, I can't see things changing. 18 months left of my contract and can use my iPhone for calls and sms and that's it! And to top it off I hear today they have all our details on the internet waiting for hackers to get!
11286 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is poor poor at 9 Jan 2011 07:47:07 AM
I was told we would have good phone service in northern NSW. We signed up for a two year plan. Within 1 hour we realised that the phone signal was very poor. The sales rep didn't wont to know us and wouldn't answer his phone. Many hours on the phone and a $8000 bill for leaving vodafail. We have gone back to Telstra as we need phone signal for our business to operate. Voda phone are selling a FAULTY PRODUCT !!!!!. We are not paying this bill.

i am the owner of a small business that relies on my phone to get jobs. as of late eg, last few months, call drop outs whilst on phone either driving or stationary, or not even being able to dial out, however i have 2 to 3 bars of service on phone though. delay on getting voice mail. it's a bit hard to run a business when i can't even get jobs booked in.
just heard via media outlets that now vodafone's storage of customers details have now been accessed by other soucres, if that is the case, anything that has been accessed from me & can be proven that it was at fault from vodafone, look out vodafone, they will have more dramas than they thought.

11284 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Vodafone Customers can't call or SMS me at 9 Jan 2011 07:38:45 AM
I am a 3 customer and all of a sudden I was getting emails and facebook messages from friends whom are with Vodafone asking if I have changed my number. I was still receiveing calls and sms's from other friends and family from other networks though. When they tried to sms me, I would never recieve it, but they would receive my sms and calls. When they tried to call me they recieved the message "Phone not in Use" It took 3 months of convincing, examples including number dates and times, new sim card, visits to a 3 store to change my phone and long hours waiting for help on the phone before 3 could raise a network issue with Vodafone before it was fixed. i was advised that they are the same company now, so why did I have to go through all the pain for such a long time? I didn't receive compensation for my time, frustration and breech of contract on their side. I said that I want to cancel my contract, and they said I couldnt cancel unless I pay out my contract but they offered to transfer my contract the vodafone for free! I said you got to be kidding, they are half the problem. I never got an answer as to why all this happened. When my contract runs out in April, there is no way I will use 3 or Vodafone ever again in my life and personally I think they don't care either.
11283 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Immoral and dysfunctional at 9 Jan 2011 07:28:58 AM
One day i got sick of my old phone as we all do so i decided to get a brand new phone from vodafone and i was as happy as a pig in shit. Only it wasn't long before content soon turned to contempt as i was forced to wait days on end for my number to transfer (i was previously with telstra...now i'm sorry) and to have my SIM card activated in their network.
At first i was happy to wait but that was day one, day two i grew curious as to why nothing has happened. Day three i became slightly lesser of the happy larry i was a few days ago but still held on to a forgiving grace and a blind hope of something that'll probably never happen. Day four i found myself deperately looking for an answer and asked for help at the store i bought i bought my phone from, being told it was a system fault and vodafone are tackling the issue so that it'd be fixed on the day, my spirits were lifted indeed so i persevered. Day 5...what? nothing? *facepalm*. Day 6...i wake up not in my bed but huddled in a lonely corner of my room where no light has ever touched it since the beginning of its days, i felt a fever creeping from behind ready to sap what remains of my vigor from my once beautifully sculpted body that has deteriorated into a lifeless skeleton, in the face of what appeared to be a singled out famine of technological communication with my teenage peers...i'm afraid my youthful spirit died along with my teenage stereotype in which i felt so at home...
Day...ugh...the days were a blur, it no longer mattered to me...without text, without phonecalls, without mobile facebook and the many thrills it brings with its trivial gossip that are somewhat gratifying to hear of as well as the stupid but "so true" facebook groups to join...i thought i would be dead very soon.
It was only when i got this brand new computer today that i am alive today, i am terribly grateful. surfing through hundreds of facebook updates following days of starvation was the most transcending sensation a youth like me could experience other than most other physical endorsements...but yes it felt good but i wasn't complete for i had no working phone plan.
then...i receive this mail from vodafone and these money lusting corporate pigs are happy to squeeze me for my money, i am being charged for a dysfunctional phone plan. o...m...g...
no.

9 Jan 2011 08:34:13 AM: you know, the BIGGEST problems i had, such as the text messages not sending, didnt happen until after the vodafone and 3 merge.
I myself was going to switch to 3, and then they went and did that.

11275 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is not fulfilling the their part of the contract at 9 Jan 2011 06:25:33 AM
I have had problems with my iphone since my contract started. I constantly have no service, I get delayed messages, delayed voice mail and 3/4 of the time I can not call from my phone without having to switch my phone on and off numerous times. No one can call my phone either half the time. I have contacted Vodafone a number of times and complained that my phone is not working, they told me to contact Apple. I did, Apple told me to contact Vodafone. Everytime I call Vodafone I am on hold or speaking to somone in another country, they have advised me to go to a Vodafone store to get another Sim Card. I did this, still the same problem. I called them back, they still told me to go to a Vodafone store to check the Sim Card, the people working in the Vodafone Stores are not interested in helping you unless you are buying a new phone or signing up. They keep tellign me its not 'their' problem and to call Vodafone.
What annoys me the most is that I HAVE TO PAY my contract even though the Vodafone service is not fulfilling their part of the contact. I think its unfair and we have no control over the situation since we are just the little people. I have asked Vodafone to let me out of the contract since they are not providing me with any service for my payments and they give me this ridiculous price to leave. I think they are ripping people off and this has to be stopped.

Looking at the Melbourne 'The Age' article this morning "Mobile records exposed" webpage:
http://www.theage.com.au/technology/security/vodafone-mobile-records-leaked-20110108-19jgm.html
It begs the question is this only restricted to Vodafone or the whole of VHA i.e 3 mobile as well? I assume it would be Vodafone only.
I hope the Voda directors and managers don't get a bonus this year.

1. First a positive note. Vodafails primary DNS server listed in many connection software programs HASN'T WORKED FOR MONTHS AND DOESN'T RESPOND TO PINGS. Shows you what a pathetic ISP Vodafone is! Now the better bit. If possible change your DNS servers to another ISP's or OpenDNS. The combination of Google's DNS 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 works well with Googles Chrome, probably because they are on the same network [Googles]. But don't everyone do this or the servers could be overloaded leading to similar problems as VFail's. Ping iinet's servers for instance or other ISP's and pick the fastest. Chrome is a leaner faster browser than M$ IE.
Now to the dishonest deceitful part.
Vodafone urged customers to take up online billing a while back and I did. BUT
any payments other than my regular monthly payment were not transferred across.
So payments due to excess usage were not credited. Even when I went into their store at Westfield Carindale (ground floor), the Manager tried to bully me and didn't think there was anything wrong with the fact that ON THEIR SYSTEM one screen showed I owed ~$59 while another showed I owed ZERO, [which was what the situation should be]. Now you can't access your bill history and they are going on the online accounting system, meaning that they will assume I haven't paid when I had. Fortunately I have bank records and printscreens to back up my case.
Geez, even the 'Salami' scammer only took a 1c from everyone's bank account, not $60!!
Any professionals out there I suggest you ask for compensation with the lawyers for the HOURS, DAYS you have spent WASTED ON THIS USELESS ORGANISATION ESPECIALLY THE CE0 AND MARKETING LOT! AT THE HOURLY RATE FOR YOUR PROFESSION.

I have had the same Service problems as Most- Delayed text send and recieve, dropped called ,etc. i decided to complain via email. The Alarm Flags in my head were raised when on the Vodafone Site i was required to enter my PIN NUMBER on a Non Secured Site (ie: the Secure Icon Was Missing from Vodafone Page). I hesitated about this but i guess becauase of anger at poor service i continued.
Now i read of a MASS distribution of Vodafone Client Details on the internet. NOW I AM VERY CONCERNED. Be Careful Dealing with Vodafone. YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION IS NOT SAFE.

11267 Someone from ACT thinks vodafone is Internet, Connections & Billing at 9 Jan 2011 02:45:14 AM
From the time I got a Vodafone internet account, Vodafone continually overcharged on data download amounts compared to the that which the download monitoring software it provided was recording (Huawei).
Spent hours on hold trying to get through to resolve this over many months, and hours when eventually getting through, arguing the toss. Eventually spoke to a (name known) Vodafone person who admitted to KNOWING VODAFONE BILLING AND THE VODAPHONE-PROVIDED HUAWEI ACCOUNT SOFTWARE RECORDED DIFFERENT DATA THROUGHPUTS.
Service person said that it had been a known fault "forever" and that anyone relying on the Vodafone provided self-monitoring software to monitor their data throughput was bound to be upset when a much higher bill came in, as it always did (about 25-30% higher, always with Excess Charges as the data throughput, under on the provided monitoring software, had been "Exceeded" according to Vodafone head office accounting).
Ended up terminating the service in disgust. Had been on a 12 month contract which had passed, but then Vodafone started arguing it was a three year contract, based on their THEN standard at the time I ended it (not the one I signed on to earlier, which had been 12 months). Spent months arguing that toss.
Was then chased for the better part of a year by a debt collection agency (aggressively for months after I ended the deal) threatening all sorts of credit history black-balling and credit character assassination unless I fulfilled a three year contract.
Vodafone did not fulfill its obligations as a service provider under the contract during the 12 months it ran. Vodafone-employed (or sub-contracted staff) made full admission that the fault lay in the the Vodaphone provided modem/software, that Vodafone had always been aware of the fault.
Vodafone subsequently employed (or contracted) a debt collection agency to attempt to extend the contract under threat of credit history assassination.
Over to the Ombudsman.

Today my wife and I spent a combined 3hrs on hold trying to get through to the cancelations team to have our contracts canceled at no charge, but also to keep our handsets that have been almost paid for. However I never got to speak to anyone in that area and got to listen to dial tone for hours. And then to finally get put through to the cancelations department once they had closed. Great service guys and even a better way to keep ur annoyed customers annoyed and even more frustrated.

Please, please, please help us and issue an order for Vodafone to stop selling contracts until they can actually supply a service.
SURELY, this must be illegal.
Shouldn't those responsible be prosecuted.
Directors of VHA, I expect you shouldn't be sleeping well at night while engaging in false and misleading practice.
What will your spouses and children think when you are issued with hefty fines and/or jail terms.
This is criminality on the largest scale.
Karma is a bitch.

11260 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is run by liars at 8 Jan 2011 11:48:54 PM
i was a vodafone store manager until the merger with 3 when i was made redundant along with hundreds of other employees. the area surrounding my store had pretty shit coverage however i was constantly told by higher ups that new towers are almost finished in the area and that coverage would improve greatly. so i told this to my staff and customers thinking it was true and we signed up a lot of customers. these towers were never built during the next 2 years before i left and i had a lot of angry customers coming into the store calling me a liar. i felt bad because i screwed a fair few people over and ended up costing them money to cancel their contracts (i did manage to get a few cancelled for no charge thanks to tio lol) anyway the main point i want to get across is that most of the time the store staff are getting told info that is not correct and passing it onto customers thinking they are doing the right thing, so go easy on them its probably not their fault if they b.s you.
9 Jan 2011 10:26:48 AM: I think you are probably right, psychopaths generally treat everyone abusively, and are not honest to some but not to others. VF appears to have quite cynically done this. Abused customers and employees. I was happy with them until the network and accounting errors started.

I went on their website to get my phone unlocked so I could use it overseas with an American sim card. I paid the fee, went through the steps to the letter and the website said that a customer service representive will ring me within 7 days to confirm. On the evening of the 7th day I went into a Vodafone store just to check that it had been unlocked. His repsone "connect and sync it with itunes". Didn't even look at the phone, ask for my details or call anyone to check. Assured me this would work and said that he'd taken 100 Australian iPhones over to the USA and they'd all worked with AT&T sims. So when I get there, I purchase an AT&T sim, low and behold, it won't connect. I then had to purchase a temporary phone over there just so I could contact people. When arriving back in Australia I called Vodafone to tell them the problem and they refused to refund the unlocking fee claiming that there is no guarantee that it will allow American sim cards and this should have been explained to me by the customet service consultant who never bothered to ring.
9 Jan 2011 01:08:27 AM: "Assured me this would work and said that he'd taken 100 Australian iPhones over to the USA and they'd all worked with AT&T sims." was this a shop employee? Why do you think they would be taking phones to the US? Why do you also think anyone would take so many with them, personal or business its simply unheard of. Its amazing you think someone in that position would even test 1/10 that many in AUSTRALIA yet alone overseas.

I am an ex Vodafone employee, I was with them for 5 years in that time they have transformed from a customer orientated company giving out loyalty reward handsets etc etc and also having an excellent network which was not over crowded to not giving a crap about their customers and an absolute bottlenecked network. As an employee I had complained on many occasions regardingthe lack of network, the disgusting poor lousy 3G network they have and all i ever got was the run around. The amount of times I have had to shout at a customer care consultant to fix an issue for a customer who had come into the store I used to work at would be over the 50 mark. To cap it off if a company can not look after it's staff the frontline and face of it's business how is it going to look after their customers. I'm not sure if you are aware but afterte Vodafone and 3 merger vodafone bought the stores back off first mobile, digicall, gsm etc since then a huge amount of staff have quite including man Teritory managers, state managers and atleast 25% of retail staff. Bonuses were cut by 50%. Now a days they employee young staff who are casuals that go to university, tafe etc. They do not have much responsibility like the full time staff and just come in do their shift and go home. Pretty much Maccas employees. Vodafone is going down the drain big time. Switch over carriers and don't look back.
11253 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Pretty fail worthy at 8 Jan 2011 10:45:42 PM
Msg fail...again...due to no network coverage. This of course just triggered my memory of seeing this site being talked about on TV and thinking finally someone has said something about how bad it really is and thought i would share my frustrations with the network. Yet again i have gone to sms and there is no coverage in, outside or around my house which is based in Perth. This happens most of the time no matter where i am and is really frustrating. I seem to also receive msg's a lot later than when people have sent them to me & also have a lot of network errors when i try to call people and it takes two or three times to actually get a dial tone. I have only just learned of the '30 minute wait' when calling Vodafone now as if it wasn't bad enough before that. All i wanted was a new password because their temporary one they supplied me failed to work..and this is only so i can get on their site as I really dislike the new set up for sending out bills via email, but needless to say cannot download my new bill until i can get onto the site for some reason. I sympathize though for the people who really needed their phones in that massive dropout they had recently, Vodafone need to get their act together before they lose all their customers if they haven't already lost enough. :/

At first I just thought it was me & my bf with lousy service until I found this page.
My issues- *Little to No service *Little to No internet connection
*Calls constantly dropping out *Msgs I send being received hours/days later
*False service readings. It said I had full service and I couldn't do anything when I needed to.
I need phone reception!! I couldn't call for help when I was in a car crash, I have been stuck with 2 young children and was unable to call for a lift, I couldn't call the police after kids tried to steal my car, I missed a train and had no phone/internet reception to check a timetable as I was trying to get to an airport. Not to mention the smaller things or trying to get in contact with myy family etc. I've really had enough. I have had to switch back to my Optus prepaid Which I shouldn't have to do in a contract.
Last week we called Vodafone and went through the "switch off and turn it back on" routine and a big surprise..no service...
We were put on hold and transferred. Then 61 mins into the call it dropped out.
We called back twice and after an hour each time it dropped out (from a landline) we called back and got the option for them to call us back.
They called back and started the process again "turn the Phone off" They then told us they would get the engineers to call us back within 72 hours.
The "Call" was 4 days later and actually an Sms saying that they were working on it.
1 week later, 3 hours on hold 1 call and sms from vodafone nd we are in the same position. Its not good enough!!!

In June 2010 I purchased a mobile broadband plan for my parents. On attempting to set it up for them I couldn't get it to work. I called the help line and spoke to someone in Israel who told me after a half hour that the salesperson from where I bought the device should have supplied me with an updated CD. They had given me a CD but it was the wrong one. I went then to a Vodafone store and they gave me the correct on. They seemed to be well aware of the issue as there had been other people who had the same issue.
On trying the device again it still didn't work so I called again, this time speaking to someone in Egypt. After half an hour I was told the device was faulty and I needed to get a replacement. I then called the local vodafone number I was given and she tried to get me to accept a replacement she would send. This was hugely inconvenient as my parents live interstate and I was only there for a few days.
I gave my details and yes a postal satchel did come with details of how to return the goods which I followed to the letter. The problem now is that Vodafone claims it has never recieved the device although I have an email from Australia Post stating that someone at VF signed for it. I won't go into what VF told me to do to prove I had sent it. So they now continue to bill me for a device I don't have that never worked. Plus they charge me for a paper bill that I never wanted.
I am reasonably happy with my mobile phone except for the data download speed (I only have 50 MB/ month but the rate at which it happens would take me forever anyway so I hardly use it for that.)
I have emailed their complaints site on numerous occasions and get the answer that they are unable to help me any more. The VF store is unable to help as the staff have apprently the same access that I have.I've left it for a while now as I was too frustrated and had other more pressing issues to contend with but I aim to give them a call on Monday and then the ombudsman. I thought about sitting in their office until they fixed it but I don't have the time nor energy.

I established a business in Eltham around last Christmas. As soon as I moved in I found my nokia N97 mini cannot accept any call and cannot make any call within the town of Eltham. Usually I take train to Eltham from Heidelberg. As long as the Train arrived Eltham, my mobile stops working. It is kind strange that the signal bar is full and if somebody call me, the phone rings but as I try to accept the call, the phone give me an error "request rejected" and then "network busy". If I try to make a call, there is no dialing tone, but end with "network busy". I contact the Vodafone at 31st Dec 2010 and the guy told me they will give me a response in 3 days. This promise failed and I contact them 8 Jan 2011 again. The guy said they will contact me in 3 hours and give me a response. This failed too. I will try another time in next few days.

I had to convert my three pre paid number into a post paid one. I had to call them for 3 times to put this through despite of clearly giving them all the information they need the first time. Mostly for reconfirmation.
Everytime I called the transfer of service department it would take over 30mins to get through firstly.
The final time they told its all gone through now and should take be fine post the midnight.
Today I realised I am not able to make international calls and when I call the post paid number it says "you are a prepaid number, cal them" So I called the TOS dept again to ask them what they had done yesterday.
1. It took me 60mins of HOLD to get someone on the line on a SAT eve. Considering it was weekend had expected it much lesser.
2. After all that wait, The guy was not cordial at all and was wanting to rush through my call and finish it off.
3. Kept on arguing with me that it takes over 24hours to get through the change. I told the application went through on Friday noon and its Sat Evening. After which he clarified that its 24hours from the midnight the change process kicks in. Nobody informed on this originally.
4. Kept on pushing to wait for over another 4 hours and made it look as if I am rushing into this.
5. Didnt ask me if there was anything else. Ended abruptly by saying thanks for calling 3 and dropped off the line.

We attempted to add credit to it, but Vodaphone tells us via their website that the number is invalid!
To make matters worse, my father had to speak to a representitive from a call centre in India who didnt have any concept of Customer service.
Poor effort.

11240 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is EPIC at 8 Jan 2011 05:38:51 PM
My reception is crap 50% of the time even in the city centre.
I send mms and sms that never arrive at the other end.
I try to get my usage details via the sms function and often get nothing.
3G drops out all the time.
I went into a Vodafone/3 store to find out what was going on and they did a hard restart which obviously did nothing. They even made it sound like it wasn't a common problem!
I'm fed up with having a substandard service when I'm paying them $59 ($49 plan + $10 payment for iPhone4 handset) a month for a reliable service.

11239 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is epic fail at 8 Jan 2011 05:27:13 PM
In December after having countless problems and issues with 3 and never having a working phone or sim i opted to start over (well as over as i could having 3 months left of my contract I migrated to vodafone).
After calling up the designated number 4 days in a row (because their system was down) i finally migrated across and was told that i should keep my 3 sim working until i got my new iphone 4 delivered in the first week of January.
Over the next 2 weeks EVERYDAY i got a nice new sim card in the mail...so as you can imagine after recieving 13 standard sims (not micro sims for the iphone 4) i was getting a little worried about their services.
6 days after putting up with this-and of course smack bang over christmas my 3 service was disconnected and none of my vodafone sims would work- for all those who have suffered over christmas you will know the lovely answering machine you get when you call your desired help section of vodafone customer care- did you know they close over christmas.
SO after spending 2 days being transfered from one person to the next- being told so-and-so would call me back and never did i went into a vodafone store.
They i have to say did not vodafail at the time but helped me out issuing me a new sim stating that my number would be carried over within the next couple of hours.
4 hours later...sim was still not activated.
I go all the way back to the store and to my surprise I see someone carrying out an iphone. After a few more unimportant hours I finally left the store with a new iphone and a sim (working)- very happy might i add too.
However, 2 hours later phone wasn't working.
I went back to the store-the girl i spoke to was no longer there so the guy that was their said 'ok leave it with me and i will sort it out' (and as you can imagine goodbye iphone).
After 3 more days-no phone, no working sim and being on hold, transfered, hung up on or 'disconnected'-as they like to call it, oh and my personal favourite: 'i am sorry but this is not our issue you will have to take it up with 3/ Vodafone' I finally went into a 3 store and poured my anger into what turned out to be a really nice guy at 3 who said he would look into it for me. 2 hours later i was back in the store and a further 3 hours later i had my iphone on a whole new vodafone account- you can imagine to my relief thinking it was all over.
Got home iphone plugged in-set up all fine, activated all fine. Working all night..then....dum dum dum..the next day strikes and no service.
Having already taken multiple days off work to deal with this issue (sorry work) i went to work without a phone. In my lunch break i called the 3 store and told them what had happened 2 minutes later i am told that 'someone' (not me i assure you) activated ANOTHER sim on my account and my micro sim would no longer work.
Options given:
a) i can cut the sim that vodafone has activated-to a size that will fit into my iphone
OR
b) come in and get another sim OR find someone else to come in and get one for me...
OR
c) come in tomorrow (when i am meant to be at work) and get a new sim
OR
d) which i am thinking is the only option: suffer in my jocks without a phone until i can get another day off work.
4 hours later- i get home from work, find the sim (double checking the sim code) and put it into my old phone hey presto it works..with a catch though-no signal
I have to say being a vodafone customer for only a month and having dealt with this much s*** i don't know how people can last their contract. I will let you know this- on the way home i purchased a prepaid optus sim (and guess what i got full bars of service when it was activated- hows that for service)

I've had to come to Port Hedland.
The only way I can get a signal/use the service is to be outside and generally only in certain areas. The Vodafail "Service area" map on their website shows excellent coverage up here.
I went and got a Telstra card and have full service everywhere I don't have Vodafail. What the hell? It's 2011 and mobiles have been in Port hedland for years. Pick up your act Vodafail!!!

I "upgraded" my $49 cap post-paid plan to a Blackberry Bold phone on 30/12/10. I was blissfully unaware of the issues with Vodafone's 3G service previously as I previously didn't own a smart phone. Between 30/12/10 and 08/01/11 (10 days) I've had no service for 2.5 days - a quarter of the time that I've had the phone.
This has led to me not being able to use basic functions such as calling and SMS, as well as email, internet, etc. Also, this has also adversely impacted the battery life of the phone. Fully charged the phone will last 4-5 hours before the battery is so low that WIFI/radio service couldn't be used (even if it was availble).
Not happy. I'd love to know what I can do to resolve the problem or exit my contract without charge.
Great website by the way - really appreciate it.
Cheers.

I ordered a phone from the online store on the 16th NOVEMBER, they said they were in stock and I would receive it in 4 days. I never received the phone. I called Vodafone, waited on hold for an hour, and had a lady tell me "she didn't know, and maybe it will be there on Friday" I called again a week later and was given a consignment number for Australian Air Express, I called them the next day and was told that the phone was marked as "return to sender" on the computer and it never left the airport. I called Vodafone again, to be told that they didn't know why (after trying to prove that I never received the phone, that is), but he promised me it would be in my hands in no more than 5 business days. Those 5 days came and went, I called again, waited on hold again, told my story to 3 people again, and was again "Promised" that he would call me back in 48 hours with an answer as to where my phone had gone. Again, those hours came and went, I called again to be told that I would have to cancel my order and then re-order the phone.
I thought stuff that, I won't do anything....but a week later I got a f&*king bill from them, for $90!...I had opted for a direct debit option as payment! So of course I ring them up and again wait on hold for over 90 minutes, got passed on to 6 different people, and got talked into giving them one more chance, and my phone will come to me in a week, and that he had canceled the bill and direct debit order..... Its now been 2 weeks. My account is due to be debited on the 12th Jan, and I just know it will be.....
I cannot believe how they have f*&ked this up so many times. I find it very hard to keep cool everytime I ring, I know its not their personal fault, but they have no clue as to what you have been through, and to repeat your story to so many people. And them to have something go wrong EVERY time! It is somebodies fault....
I just want my contract terminated. I want to know that money isn't going to be taken out of my account, and I will stick with Optus.
This has been a balls up of epic proportions. I find it hard to figure out how ANYONE manages to get a vodafone phone, when they have screwed me over

Around December 2010 I received a message from "Systems Alert....Transaction failed - Insufficient funds.....After trying to reply to this message I receive "Invalid characters in recipient field - SYS ALERT". I sought help at a Vodafone store in Miranda Fair, was told they could replace the Sim card and this would stop. It was Christmas and they were busy asked me to go and see this young men...unfortunately he was very busy and I sought held p from a young girl well thats another story. I left with the new sim and was assured the problem was solved. Unsure of the last girl and I went back to see if I could see the original young men....Still busy and saw another young lady...she seemed to know more than the original girl...I left happy UNTIL!!!!!!!!! I received another message and so on goes this ridiculous sage....I am currently waiting on the phone for the last 30 minutes.....GRRRRRRRRR...Am now hanging up I guess they win until I will get another sim card with another company...By the way this is with an ordinary "recharge prepaid"

VodaPhone customer relations.. right?
So why few calls I made to 1555

people? VodaFail charges for
directory assistance calls.. don't they?
$79 a month for service which they do not
provide and now they will charge
me for calling 1555???
How is this company able to get away with
such abuse of Australian clients?
Shouldn't
some government agency be investigating
this company to protect consumers?

11231 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is terrible at 8 Jan 2011 03:43:35 PM
This complaint has to do with their customer service. After buying the new Desire HD I wanted to use my old phone number from Optus(L) and the Vodafone employee said no worries. So we went through all the form etc, no worries. I leave the store and after the expected change over time of an hour my new phone still has no reception. To cut a long story short, I have no visited this store 5 times in 4 days and still can't use my phone. Thats ok Vodafone, I didn't want to call my family anyway...
11 Jan 2011 02:34:54 PM: As an employee of VHA i can say that this does happen from time to time, but in most instances it is because either Voda or the other carrier has incorrect details or you provide an incorrect billing account number i.e. it is a human error.

I live in the mid Blue Mountains where 3g service is regularly poor. Today I missed out on an ebay auction where the net dropped out and my bid didnt go through..again. No point ringing Vodafone I do not wish to remain on hold for average 25 mins only to be apologised to. They, In my opinion have signed up way too many new clients and the hardware cannot cope. The way I feel now I have no choice but to go back to copper fone line. I came across from Telstra and I cant believe Im contemplating going back. Truth IS stranger than fiction.

Literally no more than 5 minutes ago, I was sitting on my couch and my phone alerts me that I have a voice mail, which I find interesting considering my phone didn't even ring. The real kicker is that my reception was showing I had full bars! If I can't even receive phone calls, why on earth do I have a mobile phone. It is not my iphone either, as I only updated to the latest software on itunes yesterday. All my friends and family have pretty much given up calling me coz they can never get through so I resort to communicating via facebook. What's even worse is I'm currently looking for a job, and how confident do you think I am that prospective employers will be able to successfully reach me on my phone? Yea not so much...vodafail of epic proportions. Don't even start me on the effectiveness of my 3 mobile broadband dongle, I'll leave that for another day and another website. 11212 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Ridiculous at 8 Jan 2011 01:34:09 PM
I purchased a mobile broadband plan and modem from Vodafone at the end of Nov 2010. When I got it home, I had internet reception or pages loaded after waiting for 5 minutes. It took me 5 days of continuous calling/getting hung up on/visits to the store of purchase to get a refund and cancellation of my plan. HOWEVER. it didn't stop there as I received a bill for December. Further phone calls and visits to store and I was finally informed that all fees were waived and plan was cancelled. Then today, january 8th, I received ANOTHER bill! I am really starting to think they just enjoy wasting everyone's valuable time.

Tried to ring vodafone tech support and have been waiting 4 hours for a call back...

11206 Someone from Somewhere else thinks vodafone is epic at 8 Jan 2011 12:39:06 PM
first of all its great someone has done this - i always thought it was the phone i was buying but - vodafone is at fault when every time i make a phone call it keeps saying - call fail...call fail.. call fail.... i counted at one time there 21 times i tried calling out and resulting in... call fail.
It shows reception there! just no go. the it decides to completely wipe reception. this is not the phone, for a telstra sim works fine.
If vodafone wants to ADVANCE - cover the rural areas too!

20 Jan 2011 12:35:53 PM: @14 Jan 2011 07:07:52 PM: That post looks remarkably similar to one in Whirlpool by Voodoofone, who claims to be a store manager
20 Jan 2011 12:37:19 PM: That's www.whirlpool.net.au - find almost any recent Vodafone forum and he'll be there.
23 Jan 2011 06:22:11 PM: Probably has heaps of rational things to say.
23 Jan 2011 06:41:37 PM: He hasn't so far, as a matter of fact all he does is dribble on and makes voadafone look even worse than they already are (if that is even possible).
23 Jan 2011 06:44:12 PM: lol ive seen that post on whirlpool and i think that voodoofone guy is the most rational bloke on there.great post by vodoofoone.i think other whirlpool members should take note of ths guy
23 Jan 2011 06:51:32 PM: Go check his posts on Whirlpool. Entertaining and thought provoking!
23 Jan 2011 07:05:43 PM: rofl, nothing thought provoking. He is just trolling there as you are here...Maybe one in the same person. Food for thought ;)

24 Jan 2011 12:54:07 AM: Hey, you troll, this is my trollitory, and I LOVE voodoofone and he can dribble his inane stupidities anywhere he likes in the name of Vodafone.
24 Jan 2011 01:31:25 AM: Not me-the image of a combination of Ricky Gervais in The Office, and a mix of Red Dwarf's Rimmer and that f)(kwit Brittas -aaaaargh AND VODAFONE as well - I've been twitching uncontrollably since I read it .
24 Jan 2011 01:45:07 AM: I am not a troll. I really hate Vodafone for many varied reasons. I think most of that stuff up there is by loyal Vodafone customers. I loved giving Voodoofone more than enough rope for him to.............. string up between two cans and have functioning Vodafone communication?
24 Jan 2011 01:59:45 AM: He's got a touch of creepy little John Howard, too. He tries "wedge "psychology- one time it's about "the cockies", another time it's "a uni student", another time something implying effete journalists (I think- sometimes he doesn't even pretend to make sense).

25 Jan 2011 07:04:50 PM: The Voda Staff that come to a site that is about 'sharing your pain about Vodafone' and add nothing to the conversation are the Trolls. It is sad really.
26 Jan 2011 04:05:37 PM: @25 Jan 2011 08:45:53 PM: Thank YOU for your positive thoughts and helpful comments.
26 Jan 2011 06:29:04 PM: @26 Jan 2011 06:05:37 PM: Yeah @25 Jan 2011 08:45:53 PM was a rough post but got the point across. I wrote the reply @14 Jan 2011 07:07:52 PM and it was a show of solidarity. Nothing negative about it. Then there was someone trying to out someone on some other site like who in their right mind cares? Seriously.
27 Jan 2011 12:13:27 AM: The only thing that really interests me, is whether the Vodafone staff posting here are doing it as Vodafone "agents" or is it their own brilliant idea?
11205 Someone from Somewhere else thinks vodafone is terrible at 8 Jan 2011 12:36:41 PM
I live at Cronulla....its not only the mobile phone that you cannot use but the wireless internet connection is useless as well.I manage to connect on average 2 to 3 days out of seven if Iam lucky.I managed to use half a gig out of an 8 gig plan. But what angers me the most is that they promise to give you credit but never comes thru. When you complain they do not have any record "they reckon" of your previous conversation.I could hardly use the internet and they send me a $260 bill. After 4 months now I had enough, last I called them after the usual 45 minute on hold they promised to call me back within 15 minutes Iam still waiting for the call after 2 weeks now.I rand them for the last time and then I was just disconnected.I now cancelled my credit card so that the bastards wont be able to rob me blind......
11204 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Major fail! at 8 Jan 2011 12:30:49 PM
I have really bad reception - when I am lucky enough to get any! My Internet constantly drops out of service, i barely get to surf the net! I don't live anywhere near the country so I shouldn't have any struggle at all! 50% of the time I cant send texts, I have to turn off data roaming & 3G before successful. It drops out 50% of the time when I am calling.
11203 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is Incredibly at 8 Jan 2011 12:09:57 PM
No reception. Like none. Sitting in the middle of a Capital City in Australia you should have no problems with reception, yet Vodafone can't seem to manage to get reception in the NT. I switched, but still had to pay out my contract, even though I was leaving due to the lack of service I was receiving.
11202 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Awful at 8 Jan 2011 12:03:33 PM
My Vodafone internet is slow most of the time, sometimes doesn't even connect and the phone itself suffers poor battery life. When I request a balance through my phone it often comes back with incorrect excess costs. Not good enough.
11201 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is 100% at 8 Jan 2011 11:48:42 AM
No reception, cant send messages if it does they are delayed by more than one day constantly, people cant contact me when my phone is on and in range.
I receive voicemails days after they have rung without any record of the phone call.
Constantly out of service, when call barring was placed on my phone it took them 48mins to answer my first call and once the mistake was "fixed" i had to call back as it wasn't and spent another 1 hour WAITING to speak to someone who saw that nothing had been fixed on the phone.
I am sick of paying for phone bills when i am on $99 unlimited for everything when i am not receiving a full service !

11200 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is Exceptionally at 8 Jan 2011 11:45:09 AM
After reading some stories on this site, my problems with Vodafone are all too familiar with mainstream complaints. Call dropouts after a few seconds, meaning another call cost charge/connection fee a few times in one conversation; hardly any reception where I live (Bunbury area, south of Perth); trouble sending smsand pxt as most times pxt not even send!!; on hold for extremely long periods of time and when I finally reach customer support are then re-routed to same number to dial or even back to original person, have trouble understanding non-english support teams!!; no satisfaction when trying to quiz my account and they cover up inadequate esponse with 'fake' niceness; cut off my service without prior warning and generally...a great desire to cancel contract ASAP!!
Not happy.
Not happy.
11198 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is as failed as failed can get at 8 Jan 2011 11:30:54 AM
We were with 3 and have no issues with them, with Vodafone taking over 3 we decided to upgrade our phones and move to Vodaphone. We have been with them for about three weeks now and have yet to have a time where our phones can actualy ring each other ( even in the same room we cannot connect at times). Our young son just got his first pre paid with Vodaphone and we cannot even ring or get a text fro him ( worried parents). From our view we have been ripped off with lousy network coverage, dropouts and lousy customer service, if we had known how bad they were we would have stayed with 3 or gone to Optus or another telco. Vodaphone are shocking.
11197 Someone from ACT thinks vodafone is Complete FAIL at 8 Jan 2011 10:39:40 AM
I bought a mobile broadband device and 6 GB of quota a couple of months ago.
Can I use it? NO I CANNOT!
I can get full 3G+HSDPA reception one day and then the next day in the same place it is 1 bar of 2G only!
I go into the CBD to be given a service that has below dialup speeds and random dropouts. I may as well use dialup, it would faster!
I took my device to a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY and got full internet speed all the time with no dropouts.

11196 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Moderate at 8 Jan 2011 10:25:24 AM
Recently i got the iphone 4. I was told that reception would be in my area and all my family is with vodafone and has fine reception but for some reason my iphones always got 1 bar unless it awitches over to edge it goes up to full bars. The iphones just dont work well on vodafones network and they need to fix this. My calls fail and drop frequently my internet just doesnt load or tells me cell data cannot be activated along with you are not connected to the internet with full 3G coverage.
11194 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is EPIC FAIL at 8 Jan 2011 09:47:43 AM
I have had ongoing problems with vodafail over the past few months with poor internet coverage, call dropouts and not being able to make calls when my iphone tells me i have full reception! "Call failed" is something i have become very familiar with. As of yesterday morning i have not been able to make or recieve ANY calls, however my phone is still telling me i have ample reception. Some messages are getting through and others aren't. I am extremeley frustrated as i am unable to contact vodafone via phone to find out whats going on nor can i find an email address on their website as the "contact us" email facility is down. How convenient.
I posted about my frustration on facebook and somebody suggested i need to turn of 3G, i have no idea how to do this or what this means.

8 Jan 2011 10:22:26 AM: It means setting your network from 3G to say, 2G. It is a setting somewhere on your phone (phone settings?) depending on what phone you have. On my blackberry is under manage connections -> mobile network options. You can always post back on facebook to ask for more detailed instructions.
11193 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is incredifail at 8 Jan 2011 09:39:09 AM
Recently changed to Vodaphone and my phone drops out all the time. Really disappointing because I left 3 because of no coverage and they said to go to vodaphone and they would waive my cancellation charges and then I end up with a substandard service and I'm stuck for even longer!
11192 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is As good as the Cricket team they sponsor... at 8 Jan 2011 09:25:11 AM
I recently moved and could not obtain Vodafone coverage, when I tried to contact them (using a friends phone) about having to change to another provider in order to use my phone, I could not get through, was put on hold, was cut off after being put on hold repeatedly...I wasted hours of my life that I will never get back! I went to a Vodafone office and they also had to call the central line?? Eventually I was told that I had to pay an early termination fee because Vodafone don't provide coverage - I live 30kms from Brisbane, the state's capital city!!!
The Aussie Cricket team are obviously with a bunch of losers...maybe Vodafone should spend their money on their network coverage and operational call centre instead of corporate boxes....

11190 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is Need To Urgently Setup An Australian Call Centre at 8 Jan 2011 08:59:30 AM
The current fault reporting systems are in a worse state than the network, if that is possible. Vodafone need to IMMEDIATELY setup call centres in each state in THIS country to handle the appalling wait times that people are experiencing. Implementing working parties to examine strategies for network changes is a medium to long term process, but Vodafone have an immediate crisis that needs attention NOW.

I still dont have a message bank, and regularly get bills for $700 that i dont receive until after they are due
14 Jan 2011 10:22:55 AM: Seems there is widespread emailing of bills to wrong recipients.
15 Jan 2011 10:26:43 AM: Oh, and apparently they include a whole lot of personal details.
23 Jan 2011 07:22:00 PM: have u actually called customer care to set this up or perhaps dialled 121 to set this up? and checking ur email filters and allocate vodafone as a safe sender will let those emails thru
23 Jan 2011 07:26:33 PM: a little bit of thought goes along way.so pretty much leaving it to the last minute when u have a problem is way too late and by ur problem it way too late.should of acted earlier on this problem.does the word "slow" and idiot offend you?
23 Jan 2011 07:27:01 PM: 1211 is also the best way to get the voicemail happening.
oh and to 12:22:55 did you hear about telstra back in october? They ACTUALLY had 200000+ emails mixed up not just one dude on whirlpool.

23 Jan 2011 07:29:22 PM: lol @ all the the Vodafone Employees always passing the buck to other Telco's, Or blaming the phones, or blaming the customer instead of just looking at the main problem (ie the failing Vodafone Network) and concentrating on fixing it.
23 Jan 2011 07:32:02 PM: yes i did hear about this and where was telstrafail.com then??.not 1 bit of media coverage on that.big data and privacy leakage right there
23 Jan 2011 07:37:55 PM: Yeah what is he thinking trying to help the customer and illustrate the bigger picture...this agenda just feels so narrow.
24 Jan 2011 02:02:59 AM: @23 Jan 2011 09:32:02 PM- What do you reckon? I think that one definitely is a Vodafone store manager?
24 Jan 2011 08:29:26 AM: hmmm sounds like it.
and it may be a prepay handset, but its still my money, in fact, i pay for the services before i can use them, and then find they dont work.
the biggest problem is that its not just me, its our whole towns vodafone customers
